nice spot for when your on a budget. comfortable bed nice jacuzzi tub only thing its no ventilation in the bathroom and the room gets a little stuffy but other then that i like this spot

First, why is there a oxygen machine with a tank outside my room? Like someone just parked it there and never came back to claim it. Second, why do I have to go to the front desk to get a iron and ironing board? why is there not one in my room, then I was told that they don't EVEN have any ironing boards!!! Third, why was there no ice bucket in my room? I went to front counter and was given a TRASH BAG to use as a ice bucket. Fourth, why was the toilet seat in my bathroom broken? told the front desk and they said that someone would be by to fix it. Still waiting and that was the other day!!!! Fifth, why is there MINIMAL towels in my room? 1 face cloth and 1 large towel. No hand towels. Sixth, this is the ONLY place I have ever stayed where they asked for a deposit in CASH!!! WTH?!?!?! Finally, I would suggest that if you need to stay somewhere to hide from the real world and don't care about comfort this is the perfect place for you. But if you want to stay at a respectable place where you can be comfortable, by pass this place. I only stayed here because it was a last minute business trip and they are located very close to where I need to be. Going forward I will make sure that I avoid this place at all cost!!!!

Laundry!!

Close to Del Amo Fashion Center and a good variety of places to eat. Parking is good, but all they put on the bed is a sheet and extremely thin end of bed thing. Luckily I wasn’t freezing in bed.

No a working water machine

It's a hit or miss with the refrigerator and the jet tub, sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. The front desk doesn't even tell you.

Was clean and had a big refrigerator and microwave

bed was comfortable no phone, tissues, wi-fi. The only way to contact the office was to call on my cell phone. 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 2 wash cloths. Toilet ran continuously unless you lifted and pulled the flapper chain out of the drain because it was too long. no coffee maker The office was locked and access was behind bullet proof glass (like at a bank). Made you wonder how safe the property was or wasn't. I won't be staying here ever again.

The customer service here is great and the rooms are very reasonable. This property, also has a very good washer and dryer that sits underneath the carport. There are a variety of places to dine and Shop, the DelAmo Mall, and the South Bay Galleria, is nearby as well.

The staff was great. The owner/receptionist.was really friendly. The maids were very helpful. The only thing I think it lack was the amenities. The wifi only gets to certain parts of the hotel. The rooms needs some refinishing and the area needs some cleaning. All in all worth every penny.

The worst hotel ever super dirty smells like cigarette moisture disgusting ACs are full of dirt Grime the windowsill is full of grime. I literally slept in my clothes I was traveling from LA to San Diego run highway robbery don’t stop here needs a complete U-Haul from the entrance to the inside. You can’t even use the ice machine. Looks like it has Lyme disease. It’s just disgusting. I do apologize in advance. I wasn’t able to take the photos. It was like a quick and go never again run run while you can.

I don’t recommend DelAmo Inn the sheets were stained, had a very bad odor, the room was not sanitary.

There were multiple cockroaches, the towels were tiny and stained we went and bought our own.

The bed linens seem to be clean enough and the area was quiet for good sleep. However the cleanliness of the room can only be rated very low. There was some type of pink liquid sprayed all over the wall between the beds. I would not stay at this hotel again, especially for more than $130/night!

Hotel room was the filthiest I've ever had. All solid surfaces other than the night stands and drawer were visibly filthy. I passed a wet towel over the bed headboard and it came out black. Surprisingly, the bed sheets were white and clean.

Grimy. Funky smell

We did not sleep well here at all! There were bugs and cockroaches so we had to kill them.

It looked nothing like the photos. It was nasty. There were stains everywhere all over the place. I saw mold all over the bathroom. The sheets were dirty. It was gross.

It was a pee smell in my room by the bed, it was strands of hair in the bed

It had a weird smell when I first walked in and I saw 2 roaches in the bathroom

The timer for the tub was the only issue the button was missing so I wasn’t able to use the jets from the jacuzzi

Room had no working refrigerators. Some faucets broken. Had to call in for a remote control.

Wifi is not working well.

My bed was so uncomfortable it literally gave me back and shoulder pain. Hard and stiff bed makes me want to never come back room was #209

Overall a decent facility, but I would never recommend a place with poor shower water flow!

The room was a totally different than what I saw in the picture. In addition, it was noisy in the night due to Hawthorne Blvd. traffic. I will not stay next time.

AC Broken

Good for the money you pay. It’s on a busy boulevard so it’s noisy .

Very good location, but had old furniture in room and horrible towels. Luckily I brought my own. I would not stay here again though.

This property was very noisy and did not respond to request to fix the tv reception. It was not working at all.

Staff and Janitorial are very nice. The rooms are affordable, and there is plenty of places to eat and shop. Thanks guys for 1st rate customer service.

I’ve traveled all over the world and stayed in many, many hotels and motels. Everything from Kempinski in Berlin to The Red Roof in Lompoc. And I have never reviewed any of them. I’m making an exception for The Del Amo Inn because although it isn’t luxury in the usual sense… by name or expensive accommodation, it has, for me, been every bit a luxury experience. It’s the staff. It’s the management. It’s how the place is run and maintained. No, they’re not paying a million bucks on landscaping nor are they putting a mint under your pillow. So why do I write the review? Because these people are genuine. To the last. This is likely the only place I know where the housekeeping staff simply want to do their job without bothering you and they’re so sincere about it that I’m not even sure that’s what’s happening until I ask for something. I have to pantomime a little. But they are so genuine and kind about my requests and so are the front desk staff. Everyone here seems simply to want to stay out of the way of my experience whatever it is on any particular day. And I appreciate that. I’m an old man. I’ve been everywhere and I’ve been staying in hotels for going on 6 decades. I don’t need housekeeping waking me up.

Stay was excellent and staff wss professional and courteous. Would have been nice ti have coffee pot in room but ither thsn that perfect. It is a very quiet hotel and easy access.

Great staff. It’s not a 5 Star Motel, but for the area and and Hospitality, I highly recommend it.

The toilet was plugged and the sink too. I called the reception desk and I let him know but no one went to fix it. My husband told the cleaning lady and she went to get a tool to fix it but we kept having issues. The toilet tank was not getting any water. I had to keep opening the cover to hold it so that I could flash it. They never went to fix the sink. I’m very disappointed. It was super frustrating to be dealing with this on our vacation. I asked the cleaning lady for two towels and she refused to give them to me. She said that because it was a room with one bed she was not supposed to give them to me. I never heard anything like that anywhere.

The staff here is very nice and professional. The property, is affordable and clean close to bus stop and shopping plaza.

Staff removed all belongings from paid room in avoidable mixup about check out times.

I liked the convenience of this property and proximity to the event I attended. The guests above my room were quite noisy, but it was only me so it was nothing to get worked up about. It was enough for what I needed.

Excellent location, close to shopping malls, not far from the beach, nice stuff but the parking lot is small and room air is little bit stuffy

Love this little overlooked family run hotel. It’s so comfortable and convenient to everything in the South Bay. Very close to shopping and beaches. Plus close to LAX! But in my favorite town in Los Angeles.

Quiet, clean, on site parking, which I find to be safe. I am still having a tough time accepting that the old property managers are not here anymore. I have no real issues with the new management. This is still my "go-to" in the South Bay area. More bang for your buck at Del Amo Inn.
