It really was in a good location and with the ac on you could not hear the traffic. There where several house rules but all understandable. No coffee machine in room. And the tv service was CONFUSING for sure. Finally got on one station and stayed there. No lists or instructions.

The room was clean and large. Evening staff was very helpful, a big plus. Appliances, microwave and fridge, all worked. However, a number of detractions: shampoo was missing. The front desk failed to call me the second morning, as I requested. No continental breakfast in spite of a higher price. VERY IMPORTANT, THOUGH NOT MOTEL 6'S FAULT: THE MARTA BUS DID NOT FOLLOW ITS STANDARD FIRST RUN OF THE MORNING SCHEDULE, AS ONLINE GPS PROMISED.

When selecting your room, make sure you select the non-smoking option if that's what you want. Smoking rooms are the default. Fortunately, the office staff was able to switch rooms for me, as I did not want a smoking room. Also, the area around this hotel is not great, so much so, that you have to check in through a security window and aren't allowed in the lobby. On the plus side, the rooms appear to have been recently remodeled with laminate flooring and new bath fixtures. The room was clean, too. On the down side, there are no real perks with this property. It's simply a place to crash for the night. You get what you pay for. I did feel safe in my room, and the air conditioner and fan worked well to drown out the traffic noise from the busy street outside. I think this is a decent property for someone passing through the area or staying in Montgomery for a day or two.

We reserved a nonsmoking room. When we arrived there was an ashtray sitting on the table beside the bad. There were cigarette burns on the top layer of covers. The walls were dirty. The door in the bathroom was pieced back together where it appeared to have been broken in half. The bed skirt lifted up on one corner to reveal black spots covering the sheet on the boxspring and the towels were stained. I'm not sure how this place had a good review. I was very disappointed because we chose to stay here based on the online reviews of others.

When I arrived at the motel, it was after hours and had to check-in through a tiny window. Upon entering the room, there was dried boogers and stains all over the comforter. There were also dead bugs in the bathroom and the towels looked like they had been used. I grabbed my belongings and turned right around and checked out. I was told that there was a NO REFUND policy even though I was there for a very limited time. When I was asked about why I was checking-out, I informed them that the room did NOT meet my expectations based on the photos and reviews online and that it was dirty. So I decided to just accept the charge and get a different room at a different hotel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL!!! ITS DISGUSTING!!

Gross. Everything was dirty. I hair in between the covers, which were covered in stains & burn holes. The room smelled something fierce. The towel shelves were very dirty, like they hadn't been touched in months. The towels were old, dirty, dingy. Bathroom dirty. Mirror has stains/damage all over. Walls, light switches, receptacles are very dirty. Room was so dirty I never opened my bag, or undressed. Just gross. No attention at all to detail. If not for my particular situation, I would've bailed and gone elsewhere, but I just needed a few hours rest to be on my way. Do not recommend, will not return.

The room was not clean. The comforter had stains all over it. The cable went out several times during the evening. The bathroom was dirty. The sink was dirty. You could hear every word that the person next to you was saying. Had I not brought earplugs I would not have got a minute of sleep. Very good price but as usual, you get what you pay for .

We stay here when we come up for the wrestling tournament. It’s a clean and cheap place to lay down for a few hours which is all we needed. It looked like they’ve done a decent bit of remodeling on the interior of the rooms since the last time we stayed.

Just needed a place to stay overnight. Location is off from the interstate so if you don't mind driving 10 mins out of the way. Plenty of space for your belongings. No carpet, so that was a big plus for me.

After a slight mix up the staff quickly fixed the error that was made. I was given a smoking room when I reserved a non smoking one. Simple fix, like I said. Other than that the room was comfortable, clean, and the water was hot. I was worried about other smokers but that wasn't a problem. Enjoyed the stay and its exactly what I needed since the base is right across the street. Would stay again.

We booked a 3 night stay. Front desk clerk was amazing. First day we returned to our key not working. On our second day we were asked to come back to the room and move a few rooms down because they were having issues with our room. I came back from what I was doing to move 3 rooms down. The room was not as well keep as the first. Caulking from around the tub was hanging off in large strips and mold. Checking out I waited forever for someone to come. An employee even told the owner I was waiting and he made no effort to get up and check me out so I just left the key card.
We booked a 3 night stay. Front desk clerk was amazing. First day we returned to our key not working. On our second day we were asked to come back to the room and move a few rooms down because they were having issues with our room. I came back from what I was doing to move 3 rooms down. The room was not as well keep as the first. Caulking from around the tub was hanging off in large strips and mold. Checking out I waited forever for someone to come. An employee even told the owner I was waiting and he made no effort to get up and check me out so I just left the key card.

The tall African American gentleman at the front desk (Manager?) was very nice and helpful in accommodating our family member with bad knees to a first level room. The location is right on the main road, right across from a military station so the morning traffic is VERY LOUD with everyone arriving to work early in the morn, starting before 0600. I did feel that the beds were clean, but you could see the floors were not well swept (especially in corners)! Leaves me to wonder when is the last time they were mopped?!!! There are no restaurants nearby. In our case, we just needed a clean bed for night as a stopping point on our journey, so it met that need, and we were all sleeping well, only to be awakened very early by the awful, loud traffic noise, and the AC unit in our rooms didn't have a FAN ONLY option to help drown out the noise either... that would have helped! Wish I could give a better review, but the facts speak for themselves. PROS: Nice, helpful manager and clean, comfy beds. CONS: Everything else

When we got there, they gave us a room with a key that didn’t work so I went back down to have the key reprogrammed and another gentleman sitting by the counter stated that the room was too dirty. Anyway, they just change rooms which wasn’t a problem I would much rather have a clean room than a dirty room.

Super convenient to capital city drag strip! Which is why I stay here everytime I’m in Montgomery I check your ear quick and get you to your room. Ask them for it downstairs and I got it downstairs. There’s a neighborhood I have mile down the street and a super Walmart about 10 minutes away and there’s other convenient thanks.I would suggest making reservations early on the weekends cause they gets packed.

After a slight mix up the staff quickly fixed the error that was made. I was given a smoking room when I reserved a non smoking one. Simple fix, like I said. Other than that the room was comfortable, clean, and the water was hot. I was worried about other smokers but that wasn't a problem. Enjoyed the stay and its exactly what I needed since the base is right across the street. Would stay again.

Stayed just one night enjoyed it. the room was nice and the property is next door to a Police department and across from the Alabama National Guard headquarters. Random person knocked on our door at 2:30 in the morning

When selecting your room, make sure you select the non-smoking option if that's what you want. Smoking rooms are the default. Fortunately, the office staff was able to switch rooms for me, as I did not want a smoking room. Also, the area around this hotel is not great, so much so, that you have to check in through a security window and aren't allowed in the lobby. On the plus side, the rooms appear to have been recently remodeled with laminate flooring and new bath fixtures. The room was clean, too. On the down side, there are no real perks with this property. It's simply a place to crash for the night. You get what you pay for. I did feel safe in my room, and the air conditioner and fan worked well to drown out the traffic noise from the busy street outside. I think this is a decent property for someone passing through the area or staying in Montgomery for a day or two.

The tall African American gentleman at the front desk (Manager?) was very nice and helpful in accommodating our family member with bad knees to a first level room. The location is right on the main road, right across from a military station so the morning traffic is VERY LOUD with everyone arriving to work early in the morn, starting before 0600. I did feel that the beds were clean, but you could see the floors were not well swept (especially in corners)! Leaves me to wonder when is the last time they were mopped?!!! There are no restaurants nearby. In our case, we just needed a clean bed for night as a stopping point on our journey, so it met that need, and we were all sleeping well, only to be awakened very early by the awful, loud traffic noise, and the AC unit in our rooms didn't have a FAN ONLY option to help drown out the noise either... that would have helped! Wish I could give a better review, but the facts speak for themselves. PROS: Nice, helpful manager and clean, comfy beds. CONS: Everything else

Just needed a place to stay overnight. Location is off from the interstate so if you don't mind driving 10 mins out of the way. Plenty of space for your belongings. No carpet, so that was a big plus for me.

It really was in a good location and with the ac on you could not hear the traffic. There where several house rules but all understandable. No coffee machine in room. And the tv service was CONFUSING for sure. Finally got on one station and stayed there. No lists or instructions.

The room was clean and large. Evening staff was very helpful, a big plus. Appliances, microwave and fridge, all worked. However, a number of detractions: shampoo was missing. The front desk failed to call me the second morning, as I requested. No continental breakfast in spite of a higher price. VERY IMPORTANT, THOUGH NOT MOTEL 6'S FAULT: THE MARTA BUS DID NOT FOLLOW ITS STANDARD FIRST RUN OF THE MORNING SCHEDULE, AS ONLINE GPS PROMISED.

I had a bad experience at this hotel had a hole in the door with any kind of insect a rodent could come in. I had to sleep with a chair by the door and a towel. When I ask, can I change the room they proceeded to say that I had to pay extra $30. I wish I could get all of my money back because I felt it was a and when I woke up, I was sleep deprived because I was up all night scared that something was gonna come under the door. The owners are rude and the workers are scared that they will lose their job so they don’t speak up guest overall I rate this hotel a zero

I'm writing about management. Two gentleman, one of the managers and the maintenance man, sat there after I went upstairs to shower and watched as a young lady known to locals and law enforcement as a criminal, got into my vehicle and attempted to start it.
