The Crest - Hampton Beach

Rooms are set up uniquely. Stove, fridge and microwave available, but no silverware or glasses, dishes, or cooking pans. Sink is across the room from the bathroom, positioned after the kitchen sink. It’s a studio room. Person at the front desk is nice. Didn’t see any ice machine either.

Some updates have been done including new flooring and paint. Still feels very old as there were a number of soft spots on the floor and bathrooms/tiles are dated. Parking was a bit crazy with the double spots where you could easily be blocked in. Beds were comfortable and clean.

This place was in a good location for a weekend. They advertise a Swimming pool but don't have one and they also have a kitchenette that is not stocked with anything except a Keurig, microwave and a refrigerator. The rooms were ice and updated and the employees were good.

The hotel had no coffee or anything to offer their guest in the morning. no amenities, the room was very basic. The main office wasn’t even open in the morning when I woke up. The only convenient thing about our stay was that it was a super short walk to the Casino Ballroom for the event. Other than that I would not stay again.

Older Motel in beach area. Room was clean and quiet. Had kitchenette, however not dishware. No ice bucket or ice machine. Decent for a couple of night stay.

Our room was newly renovated and clean. Parking lot a bit tight but parking was included and owner worked hard to make sure everyone got a space.

The staff was very accommodating with parking, early check in and extra key. These guys could have not been nicer to me and my family. Would stay again.

False advertising the rooms do not look like the nicer pictures/ video on the website those must be from another hotel but you can tell the difference between the pictures i feel like and there was no such thing as a heated pool as the manager stated "the pool is across the street" and motioned towards the ocean but it was on the website. The rooms were very clean but the shower was like a stand up with a foot tub and you could barely be in the bathroom, it was very small and I'm 5'3,105lbs. So for $300 ( /-) a night, i definitely would NOT do it again if you just want convenience to the ballroom it's perfect lol

Very moldy bathroom walls and tub. We had to go buy bleach and used flip flops to shower. The water in the tub backs up so the drains are not clear. The hot water was amazing. We used our own sheets (they have linen service it is not done in house. Thats a plus) for the price and a place to stay for a few hours it wasnt horrible. Oh bring your own towels too. Those were tiny.

It was a great stay! The staff was very nice. The room was SUPER adorable, very spacious. And honestly, the cleanest room I have stayed in at Hampton Beach.

The staff was so very pleasant, welcoming and genuine to kindness. The room is extremely clean, colorful and a place i am extremely happy to be coming back to tonight. Stay here and enjoy the beauties of Hampton Beach.

Quiet. Very dirty floors. Smallest bathroom we’ve ever seen Unsafe shower basin. No clothes rack in closet. Terrible room.

Clean and updated room (room 11). Comfortable bed with clean high quality white linens. The guy working was clean, personable, and professional.

It was very clean and updated office people were very nice. I will be staying there again. Much better than another place I stayed on the broadwalk place was run down and not clean.

We liked the location of this hotel and the ability to walk to the beach. We appreciated on-site parking. The light switches on the walls need to be fixed. The room was very bright overnight even with shades closed from the lights outside our room. Maybe add another layer of shade.

Modern platform bed was comfortable, but very squeaky. Bedroom was updated and very clean, but small.

The room was great. Recently remodeled makes excellent use of the space. Really nice fridge/freezer. Bathroom has a shower size tub (actually really cool!).

Check in was quick and even showed where to park. Outside of the Motel is okay but the room was great! Had an end unit (Room 64) which was larger than a basic room. The room was spacious, clean and updated (with a touch of retro - fridge and microwave). Bathroom was a little tight but clean and modern tile with a flare of retro (tube but like new). Location is great! One block from the beach and two blocks to the Hampton Ballroom and Casino and all the shops.

Room size was amazing. However there was no dresser to put clothes in and the bathroom was very very small.

The property is ok. The bathrooms are very small with a 4ft tub. The beds were comfortable and the window unit AC did the trick. Not worth the $340 a night but would definitely stay again if it were around $150. All in all a decent spot but nothing to write home about.

Room had a little charm. Door was hard to open and close all the way.

Very clean and the beds were comfortable but the air cond. machine is very loud so it was difficult to sleep.

Had a late arrival, the office was completely closed. Had someone that worked there not been staying there and saw us we would have been put out. He told us the office closed at 10.....Room was good size. Shower did not drain well. Bed was pretty stiff if thats what you like. Office was also closed when we went to check out and had to use the drop box. I find it strange a motel office is never open. What happens if you need something?

This is my second time staying here in the last 2 months, it is my new favorite place to stay when visiting Hampton Beach. It is convenient, clean, and well run - the staff is great, helpful & friendly.

My wife and I booked a room last evening and was refused a room because of our service dog. The owner/manager, who refused to identify himself or his role within the hotel apparently didn’t believe I was handicap enough to have a service dog. When talking about my service dog, he said “I’m going to be honest, I don’t think she’s really a service dog.” After hearing that, I immediately offered documentation to prove she is a legal and registered service animal and he refused to look at the paperwork. He said “I don’t need to look at that.” There were no other hotels available in the area due to a holiday weekend and I was forced to sleep in the car. Do NOT rent or stay at this hotel as they believe they get to decide who is disabled and deserving of a service animal regardless of your service dog’s documentation. Completely infuriating, illegal, and unprofessional! He never saw the dog, she stayed in the car during check in and he claimed I should have called ahead to specifically report having a service animal and could not honor his reservation.

The staff is super friendly. The rooms are always clean. I’ve stayed here many times with my boyfriend. We always have a great experience. Very very close to the beach. Perfect little place to stay.

A delightful surprise! We usually stay at big hotels but decided to stay one night at this small boutique hotel. It was immaculate! The owners Sean and Sam are brothers who recently bought this property and are upgrading it - including the changing the name to the Crest ( its old name is the Royal Crest.) Cute, smart and hip decor with parking and they were extremely helpful with suggestions to go and eat. The beds were comfortable and very expensive linen for sheets. You can tell they know they are treating this property as a little gem and the price was extremely reasonable for the resort area. You’ll be happy you found this jewel!

We arrived at 8PM to discover there was no one to check us in. We called multiple times and no return phone call. On the website it states check in until 10PM. We had picked up dinner on the way to check in after a long day of traveling and with all of this and having to find a new place to stay, our dinner was cold.

Super friendly and flexible with check in and promptly returned item I accidentally left behind.

We stayed at the Crest on August 30th for one night, but paid for two, side note we are pretty frequent travelers for various reasons and this is the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The second we walked in the smell was awful and there were fruit flies and cobwebs everywhere. Also, the bathroom was very small making it hard for me to stand in because I’m tall. The blanket was stained and the towels were small and dingy. Lastly, there was a drunk lady who was banging on our door at 2am, the person above us stomped around their room all night making it impossible for us to get any sleep, and when we tried to call the management no one answered and when we told them they didn’t do anything about it. After everything that happened we decided not to stay there the second night, we couldn’t even get a refund for night two because it was non refundable so we had to pay for a different hotel to sleep at the next day. Don’t waste your money on this hotel.

Close to the beach and Hampton Ballroom. Full fridge and gas stovetop, comfy bed. Clean and walkable to everything.

My door was falling apart. I could have taken the panel out very easily. There were also big gaps on the top and bottom of the door. The drapes were too small for the window so whenever someone walked in front of our room we saw their shadow. There was wood and moulding missing around the tv. The only positive thing is the proximity to the casino.

Very nice stay, right in the heart of the beach area, steps away from the sand, shopping, and restuants. There is a convience store at the property for any thing you need. Owner and staff were very nice.

No coffee pot ,and now coffee in reception area .office is only open select hours ,again no coffee and there is no place on beach for coffee till 8am
