Hotel was clean, for the very brief interactions i had with staff, they were friendly. No complaints there. The room was quiet and clean. I felt safe once i was inside. If i had any complaints at all, it was that there was no elevator. I was there for Texas Renaissance Festival and lugging my suitcase full of garb up the steps was difficult, but not impossible, and the exercise didnt kill me. Otherwise, it was great. Can recommend. Would stay here again.

I checked in and was immediately struck by how loud the front desk area was. The receptionist, who was a heavyset man with black hair and beard, was watching a movie on his phone with the volume up. When I asked about the elevator after checking in, I had trouble understanding his initial response. When I politely asked again, he abruptly raised his voice and snapped, “No elevator,” in a rude and unprofessional manner. This was my first impression of your hotel, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a good one. Even after going upstairs, I could still hear the audio from his phone. Guests deserve a welcoming and professional check-in experience.

1st room smelled like animal urine with stains all over carpet & “NO SIGNAL” on TV. Moved to another room. Extremely musty smell, no coffee machine, hair on bathroom floor, damp carpet in front of bathroom door. By morning bathroom floor was wet - so must have leak that had not been addressed. Asked for coffee pot and female attendant looked up from her phone (watching movie?) and looked puzzled & said they don’t have extra coffe pots. I asked if she could just get the one out of the room we just left 5 minutes ago and she said it had already been rented . I could go on but I will just say stay away and save yourself from an avoidable disappointment.

Woke. Up to cockroaches. This room was disgusting and should be yanked off hotels.com. Mentioned cockroaches to front desk got a shrug of shoulders…glad my family was not with me ..busted up lamp shades, goo on desk…worse hotel in 40 years of tracel

The room they provide us was with a lot of humidity and smells really bad. We can't sleep cause the sheets and our clothes was wet they change us diferent room under similar conditions.

Shower head had WAY too much pressure coming out. Almost to the point of hurting. The air conditioner did not blow cold sore right away, only after turning the temperature up did it start blowing cold. I opened up the front grill and it looked like the coils have never been cleaned. Other than that, it was good enough for our one night stay.

Lots of carpet stains and holes in the curtains, walls and faucets. The bed was pretty comfortable and after some heavy Lysol & Febreeze we did fine. I was not impressed with breakfast AT ALL. It was a few cups of yogurt, prepackaged blueberry danish and coffee or OJ. The rate was reasonable but after check in, ehhhh. I could’ve spent the same money for somewhere nicer. However for the actual location so close to I45 - it was very quiet.

The bed was hard, could stand to be replaced. The bathroom mirror was loosing it's coating. The blackout shades had worn holes in them and there were large burn holes in the carpet. We would stay again, just hope they do some updating.

Had no issues. Property was quiet and kept up well. Staff was nice. Rooms were clean. Bedding was clean. BUT…the beds were extremely uncomfortable. If you like a hard bed, this would be your dream. It was like a flat board. Way way way to hard for my family. The breakfast was virtually nonexistent. BUT…we felt safe and the room was clean so we were good. :-)

I was placed at right at top of steps. It was loud. Room next to me.was noisy and loud. Room clean but definitely could use some fixing. Paint chipped in spots on the walls. Shower curtain was ripped and coming Apart. Front staff was no very friendly. Definitely a 2 star place.

Check in was easy. The price very reasonable. Clean room but only one wash cloth in the bath. Didn’t see a breakfast but didn’t ask. Cracker Barrel was 1 block away so went there. Would stay there again if in the area.

Breakfast was offered when the room was booked. It was an off brand honeybun, oatmeal packet and coffee. Nothing to add to the oatmeal, honeybun tasted bad and we don't drink coffee. Not much of a breakfast. Room was great, people were great. Just breakfast was bad.

The Days Inn was just… Acceptable The “free breakfast” was a juice dispenser and some sticky buns, but most hotels have gotten COVID lazy like this Mystery stains in the carpet, the spigot for the bath was not secured and just hanging pipe with a spigot screwed to it. Maintenance guy knocked on my door 3 times wanting to replace something and didn’t speak English and didn’t know what “come back tomorrow” means But I only got the room for a place to sleep while visiting the area so it was OK for that
