Premier Inn Loughborough

Absolutely awful service from “Darcy” (they/them) with regards to the restaurant and being able to order some food. Checked in, was asked if I wanted to reserve a dinner booking, said I would let them know in 30 mins after speaking to my husband who was arriving later, 30 mins later I went down to confirm I’d like to book dinner later on in the evening, to be told my Darcy I would not be able to as they were now fully booked and I didn’t have the “meal deal” hotel booking so I wouldn’t be prioritised. I asked if I could order at the bar, or take away and was told, “no fully booked and I only have 1 chef who is the bottleneck”. The restaurant was empty and there are signs around the hotel stating to order food nibbles at the bar if you want. They were incredibly rude and would not recommend or attend again. When I asked if I could speak to the manager and escalate that I was not able to purchase food in any shape or form, they said, “I’m the manager, so no”. Awful!!
