男性の大浴場の使用時間帯が20時半まではほぼ使えなかった。結局シャワーがあるのでそちらを利用したが、もう少し遅くまで使用できると都合が良い。女性が使う分にはとても良い時間帯だと思う。できれば、男女の時間を逆にしてもらいたい。大阪メトロの動物園駅がすぐ近くにあり、交通の利便性は申し分ない。共有のトイレ、洗面所はそこそこ綺麗だと思う。アメニティはバスタオル以外は何もないので、それ以外は持参しないといけない。ドライヤーがなかったため、自然乾燥でした。

なんか思ってたより、部屋も狭くて古かった。パジャマやタオルがなくバスタオルのみ。シャワーも少なくタイミングが、合わないと待ち時間が長い。値段は安かったけど〜、テレビも小さかった

Only 5 shower rooms for the whole entire building of dozens of rooms... Quite ridiculous tbh. First night I had to wait 1 hours in front of the shower room until I was finally able to use it. Everything is dirty, it might look ok at first but when u look close everything is dirty and moldy. The shampoo bottles for example, they were moldy. No soap in the bathroom. Wifi is extremely slow, I've never seen such a slow wifi in my life. The duvet on the bed was so old and dirty, and the clean sheets that covered the duvet didn't cover it entirely so it was gross. The pillow, you can't even call that a pillow. The size was a third of the size of a normal pillow and it seemed like it was filled with rocks, not foam or anything soft. Location isn't bad, but overall this place was definitely not worth the price we paid.

This place is admittedly cheap but damn... all you get is a room with two beds (super uncomfortable), room kinda dirty, there's air-conditioning so that's fine but the toilet attached to the room only has icy cold water and no hand soap. A hotel without even soap? I asked for it as i thought it was a mistake but nope. No soap. Location is good though. You should see at as just a place to sleep.

The only nice thing about this place is its proximity to the metro so you can find the next hotel. Found a cockroach in the room. You can hear everything going on in every room on your floor. The floors are nasty. Don't ruin your japan experience here

The property was so filthy. I had to sleep with the lights on. This place was disgusting. The toilet had layers of filth. The bedroom floor felt like it would break at any minute. The most disgusting hotel I experienced in all of Japan. I was not expecting such an awful experience while visiting this country. Spend the extra money for a better experience. I spent $10 more and got a much better room.

Would have considered this stay cheap and cheerful, however the facilities were dirty. The floors in the room were dusty and the showers were covered in mould. We paid for the with toilet option (does not include shower) and there was no soap in the bathroom. While the sheets appeared clean there were stains you could see on the mattress underneath. I think if the place were clean, I would have felt that it was good value.

禁煙ルームなのにタバコ臭くて具合が悪くなった。古い分には大丈夫だが、掃除してないのかゴミやホコリだらけで汚すぎた。 3泊の予定だったがキャセルして、急遽別のホテルを予約した。二度と行かない。

The pros to this property is the proximity to public transportation and the staff is nice. The cons are EVERYTHING. This “hotel” is absolutely filthy and ran down. The so-called kitchen hasn’t been clean since Bill Clinton was president of the USA, the flooring is broken and also hasn’t been cleaned in decades. The bathrooms are disgusting like one would not believe. I give two stars for the eco aspect of my stay because the property seems to do its best to conserve water by not cleaning anything on a regular basis. I recommend those considering this property to at a little more for an actual hotel, not a trashed out dated building. The Sun Plaza two doors over is a much better value for the money. I don’t know how Hotel Taiyo passes any health inspections.

The hotel room had stains on the wall and a tiny pillow that wasn’t greatly comfortable to use. The area is really good around it with immediate access to the subway line, and the free onsen is a nice plus, it is just the cleanliness thats the biggest issue I have. It’s good for what it is and especially the for the price.

コスパと清潔さは問題ありません。道路に面してるので、煩い車やバイクが通ると気になるのと、各部屋のドアの開け閉めの音がたまーに大きい時がありましたが客のモラルや文化の違いや構造上の問題かと思います。建物は古いですがトイレの壁は汚れてましたが、便器が綺麗に清掃されていて、ウォシュレットでした。立地は駅近でコンビニも複数近くにあり、便利です。室内は禁煙になってますが、タバコ臭が染み付いている感じでした。全体的に良かったので、また利用したいホテルです。

我的房間冷氣非常的奇怪，大概每個小時會大叫一次dadadadadadadada 的聲音，因為太晚發現就沒想換房間了，結果整晚都沒睡好。ㄧ個遙控器沒電一個只能按一下也沒電了好慘。但是離地鐵真的超級超級近也超級便宜很適合睡一晚就走的人

Super bien près du denden town et Namba, des superettes et des resto..C'est du pas cher donc on en a pour son argent. Tant qu'il y a de quoi dormir et faire caca. Sinon très bruyant, de la rue, on entends les kékés à moto et dans l'hotel, les portes claques et ça parle à 1h du mat comme chez mémé. Ah oui les couettes perdent des plumes, on dirait un poulailler ..Et l'oreiller c'est surpernant vous verrez. Sinon, rapport prix allez y

The location is good to transit many iconic locations by train. However I didn't find the room pleasant. The wooden furniture were chipped, small fridge exposed dusty wires, walls not even sound proof and was given a pillow made of beads to sleep.

Good for the cost of stay in an old hotel. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet, with mini fridge, tv, self control remote heater ac, japan style comfortable futon on japanese straw mat floor. Bonus, 4 minutes walk to Spa World onsen.

ベッドが2つある部屋に女2人で泊まりました。荷物を充分に広げられるスペースは無く、非常に狭いなかベッドの足が飛び出ていて角が尖っているため、2人共何度も足をぶつけて3、4つアザを作りました笑ベッドは固くて安眠は叶わず、共用のトイレや洗面台もそこまで清潔とは言えません。共用風呂は正直入りたくなくて近場のスパワールドに行きました。部屋の鍵は非常に古いもので安全性に不安を覚えました。スパワールドや新世界、駅が非常に近いことと値段の安さは利点です。清潔感の無さと部屋の狭さから自分はもう泊まりたいと思えません。

객실 창문이 열리지 않아 환기를 할수 없었고 공동샤워장과 공동화장실을 이용해야 되서 많이 불편했음. 리셉션 나이가 많아 보이는 남자는 손님을 앞에두고 눈길한번 주지않고 긴통화를 하묘해서 불쾌했음

The staff was friendly and there was a lot of information about the surrounding areas all over the hotel. I didn't give it full stars because the bathroom areas weren't that clean. That said, it's in a great area, next to a few train stations and a lot of shopping. It's worth it.

部屋に忘れ物をして電話をすると今から見てくるのですぐ折り返し電話すると言ってから全く連絡無しでこちらかけると無かってですだけ。探しにも行って無いです。安いホテルは安い人間がやっているので二度と行かないです。

The room was basic but had everything I needed in a room, the common bathrooms at the lower floors are slightly inconvenient but I can't complain much as the room prices are very affordable and spacious for the money. Might stay here again if I'm in Osaka. One of the hotel staff is able to speak in basic English so it will be convenient for foreign guests.

The location is very central, which makes for easy access to Namba station and Dotombori. The hotel needs a lot of work and cleaning, there is dust and mold everywhere. BYO blanket and pillow, as the ones provided are disgusting and uncomfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated their Osaka tips.

駅近なうえ、新今宮と動物園前の2駅利用できるのでとても便利でした。近くにドンキやコンビニが多数あるので買い物にも困りませんし、新世界や天王寺動物園にも歩いていけます。建物の古さはあるものの、きちんと掃除されて清潔感があるので気になりませんでした。

The property itself is fairly nice. My room was small but clean. Uses keys instead of electric locks, which I wasn’t big on. However the hotel itself is quite safe. Has 3 showers on the first floor available at anytime, so long as no one is using it.plus a bath which is designated for specific times. Great stay if you’re solo. The area around is fairly convenient with a station and restaurants nearby. However the streets are dirty, and the vibe is so so. For the price though it’s worth it. I would definitely stay again

My room had very stained walls, curtains, and bed spread. Bed and pillow very firm and uncomfortable. Not at all like the photos. The shower had a lot of rust stains. The common areas were dirty, dusty, stained and the furniture is so old it's uncomfortable. Staff was not friendly when I checked in/out. Air conditioner had dirt and mold inside it when i turned it on. Nearby area is fine. Location is good.

It’s a pretty small room and not ideal for most people traveling with partners. They have larger rooms but I’m not sure how they are. But for Osaka, it’s a really cheap hotel. It’s also in a great location by the Dōbutsuenmae subway station allowing you to get to Tennōji station quickly. The staff is really nice and they try to help you out when you need it!
