This place was the perfect stop for me. I always love direct parking. The facility wasn't the newest, but the staff was friendly and the room felt clean. There was a 24 hour gas station nearby that was nice to visit and it was right off the freeway. Would definitely stay at again!

The room was nice and clean and comfortable. It would be nice if they had a breakfast. They charge the same as other motels we stay in that offers the breakfast. We’ve stayed here several times and their pool has never had water in it.

This is my favorite kind of hotel. Very Clean. Nice bed and linens. Very helpful owners, Reasonable rate. Pretty flowers and hummingbirds. No fitness room, pool, or breakfast. These are extras that I don't use so I am happy to not have to pay for them.

Nice to stay at a well kept, privately run (non-chain) motel. Gracious hosts and well kept property. No wonder it gets high ratings. Reasonably priced as well. We would stay there again!

This is a small mom and Pop motel minimal amenities right off the freeway so it’s noisy. Beds were comfortable. Nothing exceptionally good or bad just a place to sleep. That’s easy to get to near McDonald’s and a gas station.

Through no fault of the owners, this is a motel well past its prime. Service was good. I enjoyed talking with the owner/manager and staff. Room was great. Location...close to Necedah NWR which was my goal.

You are not going to get any frivolous chocolates on your pillow; however, what you will get is: a) an immaculately clean room; b) a room where you need not wait minutes for the hot water, only to then need to continually adjust the water temperature to keep from scalding yourself; c) a room where it is obvious the owners have your safety in mind; d) a room that displays the owner’s pride in what they offer; and all at a very fair price.

We arrived at 7:30 pm. I went to the office and nobody was there so I pressed the doorbell twice, then called the office number , pressed the doorbell a third time and then called a second time. As I was leaving somebody did come up to check me in. They had been called out to another room, which I can understand. Our room was aged but nice and clean. The only other issue we had was that the TV only used streaming and the internet service caused the shows we were watching to constantly buffer.

Very gruff, confrontational regarding pets in room. Understand no pets or get evicted, but he didn’t realize Travelocity nor the confirmation email indicates pets are not allowed. Room itself is Spartan yet clean. No TV unless you have internet accounts. Suggest renaming it Edge-o-the-Highway!

Right off highway! Great for location but if you're a light sleeper the traffick sound may be disturbing. But it was such a reasonably priced hotel it was well worth it . Check in was smooth and easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Carpet was old and could use replacing but it was vacuumed and cleaned.

I stayed one night at the Edge of the Woods during a three night drive from Montana to the East Coast. The Motel room while being Spartan, was extremely clean and had amenities that would have made a longer stay tolerable. It is located just off the highway so road noise was noticeable but not unbearable. The AC worked well. The shower pressure was good. Not much around in the way of places to eat, but it is budget friendly and convenient. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
