This little gem is in the heart of little Italy right below coit tower and across the street from Washington square park. A really great location. The hotel is old but nicely maintained. Our room was clean and somewhat updated. My only complaint is San Francisco had an unusually warm day and our room was very stuffy. We turned on the ceiling fan and opened windows which really helped but it also let in all the street noises. I would 10/10 stay here again though. Such a great location.

While it is apparent that this hotel may have been nice at one point, it is unfortunately no longer to the standard advertised in the photos. Firstly, our room was sold to us as ADA accessible, however there was no accessible route from the door of the hotel to the room. The hotel is also not staffed at any point. There were hairs under the sheet and no light shade in the bathroom. The worst part was that the door opened with an app, and there was no deadbolt or any physical way to secure the door, which felt unacceptable. I ended up pushing furniture against the door to feel safe. The hotel is sold as a ‘luxury’ feel but it is far from that. I’d never consider this hotel again, and I wouldn’t recommend that any women stay here alone.

There were no staff to have contact with and I was put on first floor in disabled room that did not have a dead bolt. And the sign said no vacancy. As a female traveling alone this was unacceptable. Having no staff to interact with was particularly challenging….
