Lily Creek Lodge

What an absolutely pleasant surprise to see the lodge after driving down the hill. It’s nestled in the woods and is just darling. Inside is beautiful; welcoming and warm, clean and our host kelly was the best. Loved chatting with a few of the guests in the morning over coffee. Beautifully curated antiques fill the common area. Our room upstairs was just what we needed; nice and cool, super comfortable bed with fabulous sheets that felt luxurious! I can’t wait to go back.

This was a very quaint place to stay at. The area was very quiet and tranquil. We did not get to use the pool, but it looked very inviting also. We just wished it was a clear walkway to get to the pool. Our stay was a short Anniversary trip visiting wineries', so when we got back it was too late to visit the pool. There was not a TV in the room, so we used out tablet to watch when we wanted too. The bed was really comfortable, great night sleep!

Very nice accommodations. Big open common area with fireplace. There’s also a nice private pool. 5 minutes to downtown.

There was no tv, floor tiles cracked everywhere, water in hot tub was the color of mustard…. It looked nice online and turned out to be a glorified section 8 facility

This is a hidden gem. Great clean rooms, Fanta pool , and Cathrine was very helpful and friendly.

Nice place we stayed in the family suite loved the full kitchen wish I would of had the opportunity to meet miss Kathy the property manager heard good things about her only complaint was wish pool would of had the waterfall and the tub in our room not working but overall great experience would definitely stay again

Host's were very nice and helpful. We had planned on swimming in the pool but it wasn't open because they were waiting for a reinspection.

My 2nd stay was great! I really wanted to go to the pool but the weather was not cooperating. Its a really nice pool, so I'll have to come back!! I stayed in a different room this time, it was just as nice and cozy Only complaint, the pillows weren't firm at all. So I had to use all 4 of them for comfort. Kellie is always so welcoming, we chatted during lobby hours for a bit.

The Lodge was fine: very clean but basic. The building/setting and lobby were very nice but our room (#2) was very sparse with just the bare necessities. It felt more like a hotel, which is fine if that is your expectation. You should be aware that you have to go outside to get to the lobby which has restricted hours and is not available 24/7. Insulation was also an issue--we could hear folks across the hall, folks on the deck beneath our room as well as a heavy snorer next door! I would look at other options if we returned to the area.

A real hidden gem. This property is peaceful and serene. The staff were extremely helpful and communication was excellent. And the rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. Will be returning for sure.

It was a good stay. I would had preferred to have better water pressure in the shower, access to a microwave and coffee pot around the clock, some sort of cabinet, shelves or drawers to put away clothes, and a TV in the room, but it was a good stay. Clean and quiet.

Clean rooms, nice shower, easy check in & out

Very pretty and very clean. The room was very nice. Did not spend a lot time around the property as our main priority was the town of Dahlonega. Catherine the inn keeper met us for check in. Very sweet and cordial. Gave us a history of the property. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early as the weather was really bad and getting worse the next day.

Quaint little place with woods all around. The pool was great. The room was fine. Staff was nice. The shower water pressure was low but not terrible.

The shower is absolutely terrible. Not from a visual standpoint but almost no water pressure.

Such a cute little spot for a weekend stay. Super close to downtown Dahlonega and about a 30-40 min drive to some good hiking at Vogel State Park. Rooms were a good size. Walls were a little thin; we could hear our neighbor next door snoring. Property is really cute too, right in nature.

This is a cute little Inn just outside of Dahlonega GA. The rooms are themed. We stayed in the Montana Room. The room was clean and tidy. WiFi was very good, we did not have cell service in this location in the mountains. The Innkeeper was very nice and interested in making sure our stay went well. I can recommend The Bear Necessities Cafe, within a few minutes drive, for morning coffee and breakfast. I can recommend. It is not fancy so pass if that's what you are in to.

Very unique property, lots of southern charm and nice decor. Our room was very hot and did not cool down. There is no thermostat for the room so what ever temperature they want you to bake at is what you are stuck with. There was a security light outside of our room that shined in the window all night. It would cut off and on every 30 seconds. Very annoying. Had there not been other guests I would have slept in the hallway where it was cool and no security light…. The mattress took firm to a whole other level. Needless to say we got very little sleep. Maybe the other rooms cool better but I would not want to be in this room ever again.

It's a beautiful, secluded place. No TVs to interrupt other guests, and they have Wi-Fi. Within miles of dahlonega square, with shops and restaurants. Our main visit was the Crisson Gold Mine with our focus on Gem mining. Also, a hidden gem of a restaurant was Gold City Cafe. Very pleasant experience, will be planning to come back next year.

My only complaint is the room had only shear curtains which allowed sunshine to come in too early. I’d really hoped to sleep in.

This is an interesting place - staff very responsive & kind, room very clean. Rooms are furnished with antiques and ours was cute - but not very practical. Small and rather over-furnished which made it tight for 2 people, no work area and no way to configure a chair and surface for laptop. No television in room although we could have traded our DL for a loan of a portable TV - a little curious ( and insulting). No individual control in room for warm or cool temp - these are controlled by staff. No in-room coffee or mini-fridge. (Coffee in common room but not until 8 am). Bathroom was very nicely updated with thick towels and good quality bath products.

The lodge manager, Cathy, was amazing! She made us feel welcome the moment we arrived and was there for anything we needed. Everything was immaculate, and our loft room was perfect for the quiet and serene experience we were looking for. Our patio on the deck outside our room was perfect for sitting, relaxing, and gazing at the autumn leaves. For us Floridians it was absolutely perfect!

Absolutely beautiful hotel and super friendly staff. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would. Peaceful and quiet, with cute rooms and pretty antiques in the lobby. Definitely will be coming back!

Beautiful and charming little cottage nestled in the woods that felt quiet and secluded, but it was only a 15 minute drive from restaurants and other businesses. The host, Kellie, was awesome and she went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. The bed was so comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. It was such a a pleasant and relaxing experience. We will definitely return.

Lily creek lodge This is a one-of-a-kind place to stay that I would recommend to anyone from a single person to a family. It is not a traditional hotel in any of the word, it is better! The bed is most definitely not a “hotel bed”. It is quite amazing; like your own home but better! The decorations are spot on but not over the top. The owner-operator is amazing! I never have had any hotel, or anywhere for that matter, text me on the day of arrival to ask how our trip is going and update us on the check-in status. She then proceeded to text me daily, even giving me suggestions of things to do. Even more spectacular was when we arrived and saw our Parisian room (it was amazing), it was a bit dark (it was sticking with the Paris theme) for my husband’s PTSD (I loved it!). When I texted the owner, she didn’t even blink! She told us to use the family suite! That is pure first class! I can not say enough about Lily Creek Lodge.❤️ When we stayed in off season, we were the only ones there one night and there were other travelers there the other night. Both nights were quiet and peaceful and safe. I would say i would have slept with my door unlocked. It is off the beaten path and nestled in the trees, but still close within 2-3 miles from the center of Dahlonega, GA. You feel as if you are in your own little world. We could not find a thermostat, so no control over the room temperature. It was warm and had to open a window to cool the room. In the morning they had some coffee and we believe tea too. It would be great if they add something small/light, like a grab and go type of thing for example an individually wrapped pastry or cookies, or little cakes, a donut, etc. So if you need to take a medication with food you grab that with coffee (thank you) and keep going without the need to stop somewhere else. We really like the hidden in the forest type of house. We recommend it and will definitely return!

I really enjoyed the peace and quiet. There were other couples and families that stayed on the property, yet we felt as if we were the only ones there. The sweet lady that stays on the property was very helpful by telling us about a few restraunts we should try and other fun things in the area.
