Scripps Inn

The parking was extremely convenient and safe. It was located right by our room and the front lobby. All of the staff were very kind and friendly. The location was just across the street from the beach. We enjoyed walking along the walkway above the beach with great views of the sea lions and many different kinds of sea birds!

Hmm, this is a hard review. This is the only oceanside inn in La Jolla. It is charming and ideally situated, and for sure we would stay there again, but we didn't get a good night's sleep in three nights as we could hear every creek in the room above us, and the shared space was right outside our room, and the other guests weren't considerate. 5 stars for the room and the location, but ask for the 3rd, top, floor!

Nice view, right next to the ocean

Great little property right on the ocean. Staff are helpful and friendly. It’s starting to show its age, but I understand a major renovation is in the works for the fall.
