Loud music booming through the walls until 3 or 4am (weekdays included). Stayed in a capsule room, which have see-through doors that bang when people use them. A person would have to be dead drunk to sleep through the night here. No soap or towels for the showers (you can pay extra for a towel).

Great location, less than 1 block from central park. Rooms was clean. The best feature was the very hot water and great water pressure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a great storage location for lur bags as we arrived early. Will absolutely stay again.

There are many options in Antigua within this budget range, but this hotel seems a little nicer than most. It appears like it was once a very high end place and throughout the property there are nice little older touches like an original 30\'s era reel projector in the hall. Be advised if you are tall ( which in Guatemala means over 5\'10") be prepared to duck when rounding and going down the stairs. I banged my head a couple times before learning to walk very hunched over 😏. Be advised the title says hotel and restaurant, but there is no restaurant. Also no purified water for guests so remember to have water bottles with you.

The entire room was covered by the evening, with dead bugs all through the capsule and all over the floor. Whilst the staff were quick to clean in the morning it happened again on my second night.

Hotel viejo que no alcanza a ser ni tres estrellas. No tienen ni agua para beber en el cuarto, hay que comprarla. Cuarto muy reducido, no hay elevador ni ningún amenidad adicional. TV no sirve. Su única ventaja es la ubicación que es muy buena.

The room was nice and clean but you can hear every noise from the other rooms, people flushing, showering on top of the noise from the Town, parking is not free it was 80 Gtq per night. Other than that it was Good

For the price it was good accommodation with 3 beds near city center. The rooms windows open onto the hallway rather than an exterior wall. The building has interesting history of being a former theater including the garage below. They display film projector and stage. There is no air conditioning but fans provided in room. Staff was helpful with figuring out tv and parking garage and nearby restaurants.

Place was clean and cheap! You can hear people from the street and restaurant below so I would suggest bringing ear plugs for sleeping if you are bothered by that but great hotel overall if you are on a budget!

La ubicación es inmejorable, a una cuadra de la plaza principal. Colchones y almohadas cómodas, toallas y sábanas limpias, instalaciones limpias, buena presión de agua y temperatura. Había leído que a veces podía ser un poco ruidoso por el restaurante de abajo, pero en mi caso fue sumamente silencioso. Si bien no fue mi caso, si tuviese que remarcar algo es que el lugar no es muy accesible para personas de movilidad reducida, ya que se sube por escaleras y además los baños tienen tinas/bañeras, y no tienen una agarradera, por lo que hay que ser cuidadoso. El closet, se sentía que tenía olor a humedad (era como antiguo). La habitación era bastante espaciosa. Los trabajadores del hotel son sumamente amables y eficientes. Súper recomendado.

This Hotel is in the best location in Antigua. Less than a block from the park/square. You can walk to anywhere you want to go, basically. The staff are great, especially Jackie, who checked me in. Thank you. She's wonderful and I'm appreciative for her great English. If you can request a room on the second floor there's more light. It's also nice just lounging in the lobby. The room, and the entire property are spotlessly clean. You can probably get a much better price if you check in while there instead of booking online, which is the case with almost any hotel anywhere. They will probably have a room with a private bathroom available. Thanks~

Nao foi uma experiência ruim, mas em outra oportunidade eu ficaria em outro lugar. A localização é ótima. Achei o quarto pequeno, escuro e me incomodou um pouco a roupa de cama. De forma geral sou tranquila quanto a isso, mas foj um ponto negativo. O ventilador só funcionava em 1 velocidade, na mais forte. O barulho foi outro ponto negativo. Fiquei no 1° andar e dava para escutar tudo o que falavam na recepção. Para quem tem sono leve pode ser um problema.

Great location. Rooms are clean. Bathroom and shower acceptable. One one issue: very hot with no air movement(stagnant). No A/C, though there was a fan in the room. Front desk folks are good.

I enjoyed staying at Hotel Sin Venture. The staff are very gracious and kind. They all speak/understand English. It is in a great location, by Parque Centrale. The room is very dark with curtains closed, and it’s quiet at night. The window opens onto the hallway. The room is spacious. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, shower configuration which is awkward, but manageable. The price was very reasonable through Expedia. I would stay there again.

El check in fue terrible. Hice mi reservación por Expedia y cuando llegué, la recepcionista me indicó que a ellos les salía habitaciones de cápsula, que son tipo mochilero. Yo no había reservado eso y hasta le mostré mi reservación por una habitación doble básica. Sin embargo, ella seguía diciendo que esa no era mi habitación. Al final, era un error ya que estaba dándome esas habitaciones de otra persona que tenía el mismo nombre pero con un apellido diferente. Eso me generó pérdida de tiempo y un estrés de ver que me estaban dando algo que no reservé. Al final, ni una disculpa nos ofrecieron por el error. Errores se comenten, pero deben de ser cuidadosos y fijarse bien esos detalles porque al final hacen pasar un mal momento a los huéspedes. A los ticos que van tanto a Guatemala, mejor busquen otras opciones. Hay lugares mas bonitos y económicos que valen más la pena.

Great location, less than 1 block from central park. Rooms was clean. The best feature was the very hot water and great water pressure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a great storage location for lur bags as we arrived early. Will absolutely stay again.

This Hotel is in the best location in Antigua. Less than a block from the park/square. You can walk to anywhere you want to go, basically. The staff are great, especially Jackie, who checked me in. Thank you. She's wonderful and I'm appreciative for her great English. If you can request a room on the second floor there's more light. It's also nice just lounging in the lobby. The room, and the entire property are spotlessly clean. You can probably get a much better price if you check in while there instead of booking online, which is the case with almost any hotel anywhere. They will probably have a room with a private bathroom available. Thanks~

Place was clean and cheap! You can hear people from the street and restaurant below so I would suggest bringing ear plugs for sleeping if you are bothered by that but great hotel overall if you are on a budget!

There are many options in Antigua within this budget range, but this hotel seems a little nicer than most. It appears like it was once a very high end place and throughout the property there are nice little older touches like an original 30\'s era reel projector in the hall. Be advised if you are tall ( which in Guatemala means over 5\'10") be prepared to duck when rounding and going down the stairs. I banged my head a couple times before learning to walk very hunched over 😏. Be advised the title says hotel and restaurant, but there is no restaurant. Also no purified water for guests so remember to have water bottles with you.

Location, location, location. A great location if you want to stay at the heart of Antigua. Colonial hotel, parking optional for a Q40.00 fee. Rooms are ok, not luxurious or special but clean and ok. Safe place to stay and at fair price. Something important is that you must go through stairs to access your room. No elevators.

The room was comfortable and clean. The shower had hot water if you want a warm shower. In the evening it was quiet and I was able to sleep comfortably. Rooms were cleaned daily.
