Shops are as close as next door. The rooms all appeared to be clean. The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of water pressure and hot water. The rooms were hot upon arrival but did cool down nicely later in the night. But the hotel was quite adequate for a night or possibly two.

Stayed 4 nights

I stayed at this hotel for four nights in Antigua, Guatemala. Overall, the stay was good, but my experience at checkout was very disappointing. I checked out around 9:30 AM and left my luggage at the front desk until my transportation at 12:30 PM. During that time, I accidentally left a packing bag with about 10 to 15 pieces of clothing on the bed. There was a gap of almost 3 hours, which should have been enough time for housekeeping to notice and inform reception, but no one told me before I left. After arriving in Guatemala City, I realized the bag was missing and called the hotel. They confirmed they had found it, but I was disappointed that no effort was made to notify me while I was still at the hotel. What made the situation worse was the lack of support afterward. When I asked if they could send my belongings, I was told I would need to arrange and pay for a private taxi. A one-way private transfer from Antigua to Guatemala City can cost around $90 or more, and round trip could be $180 or higher. No alternative solution or assistance was offered. As a result, I lost access to many of my personal items, including some of my favorite and valuable clothes, and I was left without enough clothing during my stay in the city. This experience showed a lack of communication and customer care. I recommend the hotel improve both its lost-and-found procedures and how it supports guests when issues like this happen.

Very central location and very clean but the only window was out to a long corridor so there wasn't really any natural light. The common area also wasn't that comfortable. Internet good when connected but it kept disconnecting and asking for the code again.

The room was excellent and the location perfect. However, just outside the staircase to enter the hotel, a group of men hang out in the afternoon and evening. The harassment is extremely aggressive even though I feel I am quite used to street harassment. One even chased me up the staircase. Just a caution for solo female travelers.
