While the hotel was clean , and attractive it is not a particularly good value. It is expensive and does not provide any extra amenities. No water , no tissues , no body lotion etc. Staff is well trained and very helpful.

Stayed 5 nights

Took 3 requests to get washcloths!!! Supposed to be smoke free but my floor reeked of pot and despite complaint, nothing was ever done . Internet went out. Advertised as room with a balcony. with city views. In fact, the balcony was tiny and had a view of the lower roof of hotel and Pulaski bridge. Part of shower sprayer didn’t work. So dark in room I had to request an additional lamp in order to do work (lamp was never provided despite repeated requests). Room was large, bed was comfortable. Staff was nice but not always effective.

Roomier than a Greenpoint railroad apartment and probably cheaper these days. Staff was fantastic, nearby Milk and Roses was a hidden gem for brunch, dinner, coffee. Easy to get to transport.

Stayed 1 night

I stayed in one of the duplex rooms and spent about 550 with taxes for one-night. I guess bc it was NYFW they figured they could charge a premium rate, but the room they gave me had ROACHES. They came out when I returned from my outing and brought food into the space. I was so disgusted that I had left all my bags open and laid about not knowing. I packed them up right away and ran to tell the desk. It's like 1am and I'm showing her videos on my phone and she was visibly disgusted, told me to send the videos to the corporate email and then offered to visit my room to investigate and clean them up. When she came in, she examined the kitchen area and saw a few on the stove and by the sink. She moved the coffee pot from the wall and a family of roaches scattered across the cabinets and counter. She and I were itching and squirming from the sight and left the room as quickly as possible. After an hour waiting in the lobby, still not sleeping... the concierge is able to move me to a room that had been booked for the next morning. For this I am thankful bc I had no idea where else to go so late as much as I wanted to leave the hotel entirely, it was just so late. I get to the new room on the 2nd floor and it looks more updated than the one I had left. I was inspecting every inch of the spot for more roaches or bugs and noticed the bed frame had some residue or rust that looked like bug poo. Water glasses were filthy. Desk only offered a sorry and a "discount" for a "future" stay.
