Hotel and amenities were Great. They don't tell you that the 500$ deposit is going to be taken from you into daylie Resort fees. With are 45$ a day for two chairs and two towels. They say that beach chairs and towels are complimentary (but they are not you pay for them out of the deposit) and that you only have to pay 35$ for sun umbrella. Front Desk receptionist is incompetent and has huge fatigue attitude.

Loud construction next door all week long. Smaller pool was closed most of the week. Once it opened, it was closed for a reception, then a wedding! There was a charge for Cabana rental at the pool/$98/day! Really??? And umbrellas at their PRIVATE beach! $25/day! Like at a public beach! Housekeeping didn’t speak English so couldn’t follow instructions.the hotel was kept so cold you could make ice in the public areas! We asked for an extra blanket and asked for the bed to be MADE with it. Each day, it was rolled up alongside the bed🙄 The rooms are not soundproof and you have NO privacy on the balcony. No pen or pad of paper in the room. Front desk staff are not in uniforms and some don’t even wear name tags. Concierge is pretty useless. He just hands you a piece of paper with restaurants on it and public transportation info. Doesn’t know anything that’s going on. Refers you to a website! The sliding glass door and entry door, and shower tile in our room was REALLY OLD! The vanity and sink fixtures were dated, and the bed was not feeling new, firm and comfy. It’s hard to believe this is a Hilton let alone a RENOVATED property! The only good thing I can say is that the view of the ocean from our room and balcony was gorgeous! It just wasn’t relaxing at all due to the extremely loud construction going on next door! The room was not pretty either. Not up to Hilton standards. I will not be back nor would I recommend it. Auburn/ front desk and evening bartender were awesome!

Pros - very close to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Confortable beds. Cons - congested. Beach is in a tight space so people are on top of each other (although staff was excellent). Same with pool area. Construction next store made the upper pool not useable.

The oceanfront room was amazing. The beach access and chairs are great - though $150 for the cabana rental was a bit steep. There were a lot of renovations going…the pools were closed along with the outdoor bar. The grinding of the concrete was very loud. If this wasn’t going, it would have been a 5 star experience.

There was no shampoo, shower gel nor the conditioners were available all the days. When we escalated they said they will arrange which never happened. No body bothered to check-in even after multiple complaints. One of the terrible stays we have ever had so far. Beach acces they call as ore iLife isn’t well maintained beach. On top of it they charged $40 for the resort swimming pool, which should have eventually been included with the stay. Overall very bad experience we had as family . Showers weren’t working properly , everything was in a very bad condition.

The first room we stayed in was completely filthy. The front desk agent offered to have a mate come clean it, but there was no way that the maid could clean all the dust and dirt and grime that was embedded in that room. I was later upgraded to a suite for the inconvenience, which was moderately clean, but still could’ve been cleaner. I ordered room service for my husband because it was his first time and they brought all the food up in a paper bag and cardboard boxes. My food was undercooked, so I went down and reported it, and I had to go find the kitchen manager myself to let him know instead of them reporting it to the kitchen staff. Overall wouldn’t stay there again, but decent property.

It's unfortunate as I typically choose Hilton properties for their hospitality and cleanliness. Upon arrival, check in was a nightmare. It took a significant amount of wasted time to have our room cleaned and available. While awaiting room we dealt with ignorant and rude guests and some staff. Our AC did not function for more then half our stay. In Miami, AC is a bit important for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping was slow and at times not performed. Requesting towels took hours to deliver. Pools, although refreshing were not clear and clean. Mold was noted in the shower. Showers were either scolding hot or cool. Beach is important to my stay, Miami Beach was full of seaweed and not appealing at all. I requested some compensation for all the troubles we endured and frankly they were not addressed. I will say George and maintenance workers were amazing! We won't be returning.

Not impressed at all for a hilton. The lobby tricks you to think the hotel is clean, the rooms rug looks like its never been cleaned with stains, the bathroom sink had mold, the shower door was covered in water stains ( easy to clean) and the shower had soap scum all over the silicone. We knew for sure they dont clean well when i requested the room cleaning after i had broken a serum glass bottle, and i came back to find glass still on the floor. The second day i requested the room to be cleaned 3x and wasnt done. Also they dont wipe down any counters or doors, the counters were dirty and the bathroom door had marks and white stuff all over it. Early check-in is false hope so dont bother. The hot tub had way too many bubbles, chemicals and what looked like scum but not sand floating all around.

The frontage of the hotel was nice and location was just across from the beach. Having 2 pool options and a hot tub was nice. Staff was friendly and warm. Rooms were a bit small and lobby store had very few options. Also cleanliness of the bathrooms was a little disappointing. Soap bar on floor inder sink and dirt spots on the walls didn't help.

The resort itself was super nice, the rooms however weren’t very sound proof and we could often hear doors opening and people talking. Some things around the room didn’t work very well, our fan for example was very loud and made thumping noises. Other than that the room itself was pretty and the bathroom was very clean.

Stayed in family suite, sofa bed was dreadfully uncomfortable with very poor mattress, only two towels provided for family of 5. Very noisy room overall. Shared balcony which is both a privacy and security issue, locks on balcony doors were loose and faulty. Lift broken so had to wait ages to get to upper floors. Beach club only offers 2 sun beds per room despite having 5 people staying. Umbrellas on beach $30 despite only 1hr until end of day. Just generally disappointing.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Cabana Miami South Beach and unfortunately there were a few problems that I’d like to address. First our room was beside the employee elevator and it was extremely loud in the morning and at night. We got to the hotel on Wednesday and left Saturday, and there was only one elevator working for the entire duration of our stay which made it very difficult to get to and from the beach. As well, the beach front service was not very helpful. We had to find our own chairs and some of the staff were hesitant to aid us. In addition to the beach front, there weren’t enough towels for the guests. We were told the towels were in the wash and no one was able to tell us when the towels would be available so we had to wait around to have towels for the beach. None of the staff were problem solving and we ended up finding a couple extra towels on a chair for ourselves. Finally, the front desk and concierge services were not available at all. We called the front desk and concierge separately at least ten times and did not hear back until we called on our personal phones from the website and had to order items to our room that way (i.e., towels and blankets).

Check-in staff is great. The renovated lobby Area, Coffee Shop and restaurant are also very nice. Rooms are very dated and not in the best of shapes. The day we checked in, our room wasn't ready until after 6pm. We were originally given a room in the 4th floor but due to issues it was changed to a room on the 3rd floor. For the inconvenience the check-in person did offer us some credit to be used at the coffee shop/ restaurant. The room itself was very roomy. The closet had a bad smell that didn't go away the 3 days we were there. Door handles to the fridge were dirty. The Amenities were great. We were able to use the complementary 2 hour bike rental each day. The staff had lots of great activities taking place to celebrate Christmas. Our kids loved these activities. Once again I cannot say enough good things about the staff there.

I must say I was impressed from the time I walked into the Hotel. Mayla was awesome, she took care of my reservation that she noticed wasn’t booked properly. Devin oh my goodness, every establishment needs a Devin! His customer service, his dedication, professionalism is off the charts! I need him to come train my employees lol! He made sure my stay was perfect no lie from start to finish. He “Wow” me I was very impressed. Antione & Victor another duo that I Love. So nice, friendly, professional and all. They remember us each time we came to the bar, knew exactly what we wanted to drink and eat. Welcomed us as if they’ve being knowing us forever. Those 2 at the bar is the type of team you need for people. I told everyone everyday how they just made me so happy and how impressed I was with the service. I didn’t run across one bad staff member and I promise it’s a bad apple in every bunch lol. But not at The Hilton Cabana. They made me want to work with them lol. Working with people can be challenging at times but these 4 people on your team make it a piece of cake to do. I found a couple things wrong with my room but because the customer service from these guys were so freaking off the charts!!!! I promise you whatever I found it didn’t even matter. I Love this place not only because where I’m from it’s freezing cold lol but because your Team is the best I’ve come across so far! I’ve never met great people like them. The Hilton Cabana is a nice alternative to staying in the chaos of south beach. We had direct beach access with way less crowds than less than a mile down the beach. We rented citibikes and rode all the what to south beach and docked them down there. The pools were great but the hot tub looked like it needed to be cleaned. The rooms were nice and loved having the ocean view for a decent price with a balcony. Having valet there was expensive but worth it. We did have an abnormal experience where a septic pumping truck was blocking us retrieving our car for more than an hour. Management did everything they could and the company finally moved their vehicle to let us pass. I would suggest making sure that doesn’t happen midday. Overall it was a great experience.

Having the beach right there was exactly what we wanted. The hotel needs a little work here and there. Some of the button on the elevator needed to be repaired and they were small, but overall I would stay there again. The STAFF was AWESOME!! Especially Millie at the front desk.

Got the junior suite with ocean view. Excellent view! Pros: The beach is the backyard. Room had two bathrooms, mini fridge, coffee maker, two large tv’s. Housekeeping was always accessible if needed extra towels or toiletries. Hotel has convenience shop with snacks and necessities and shareable microwave. Can leave luggage with front desk if you arrive before check in. Easy to get Lyft ride to and from hotel. I recommend catching a Lyft to Little Havana. Free street trolley stops in front of hotel will go all the way to south beach or Lincoln Road Mall. Restaurant, bar, and coffee shop on site. Front desk provided great recommendations for sight seeing and excursions. Walgreens in walking distance. Front desk keeps complimentary first aid supplies. Hotel is located away from all the noise of spring breakers. Cons: Construction in hotel next door. Shower was black in the cracks in the floor tiles. (Wear shower shoes) Hotel doesn’t provide airport shuttle. Not many good restaurants in walking distance.

This property was more than amazing to my family and I. The pool and ocean view was more than we expected. Most of the local stores are near my and the trolley is right in front of the hotel which takes you straight to South Beach. I will visit Hilton anytime of the day their staff and hospitality is top star.

Our room smelled like an ashtray. Someone was smoking weed and the smell came through the ventilation system. The food options/menu were not what was advertised when booking our trip - only the overpriced and below average buffet was available due to the holiday, although we stayed for six days. No one at the towel hut was ever friendly.

I'm not one to provide reviews, but our stay here was awful. We stayed here for Christmas with breakfast included. Unfortunately the breakfast was buffet only available due to the holidays, which wasn't communicated anywhere. Their menu showed a full breakfast menu on their website, but we couldn't use it. Poor advertising, as the breakfast option at $26/day was a joke for a buffet. We complained to the front desk manager, she said there was nothing she could do, and suggested talking with the restaurant manager. Restaurant manager said there was nothing she could do, except use room service. Problem with that was there is no place to eat in the room, except for the bed or a tiny table against the wall, under the TV. We ended up spending more money eating somewhere else for an actual breakfast, as the buffet food was marginal at best. Balcony was a joke, no table or chairs, just big enough to stand on. Key card wouldn't work to get back through the gate from the beach. Rooms are in desperate need of an remodel. Not sure what is happening with the Hilton brand, but we likely won't be staying at a Hilton again, definitely not this one. On a positive note, valet staff and waiters were great.

I had heard the hotel wasn't the best (being a Hilton) before I came. I felt like I had to ask numerous times daily for people to clean our room. I was so frustrated also with the fact that there were limited umbrellas on the beach. I hadn't known beforehand that apparently you need to pay to rent them per day. The food was really subpar. I ordered what sounded like a delicious salad and it was a few slices of jicama, mango slivers, and lettuce. Overall it wasn't a pleasant stay and I feel like for the money we paid we should've gotten a lot more in terms of food (breakfast etc), umbrellas on the beach. There was also construction going on either side of the hotel which made it very unpleasant to sit by the pool.

I think this hotel was Amazing, from the room to the food at the restaurant to the ambiance. I think it was all amazing, hotel room was up to date and very clean. I have no complaints it was a great trip and a great hotel. All the staff were so kind, Fabiana and all the girls at the restaurant were so welcoming and nice. The beach being not even a 2 minute walk and the pool and cabanas being very vibey. This hotel is great will recommend again and will definitely be back!!!

The beds are very uncomfortable. This place is also expensive to eat. They charge a 20% fee on every bill that definitely adds up. Towels were limited also. Overall the hotel was just okay and I was expecting a lot more for $1400.

Please call to see if neighboring construction is going on. With that the beach and pool are not relaxing at all. BUT 5 stars for Our room. View was amazing. We got the beach view suit. Great space for our family of 4 and 2 teenage girls. If there was no construction this would of been the BEST location

Location is great, but the rooms need updating. Tile grout is stained, toilet paper holder falling off wall, trim on shower door falling off. The balcony’s have no privacy, if your neighbor is on the patio, you might as well become friends or go back inside. Staff was wonderful.

The staff at Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort were friendly, nice, and helpful, but overall it felt like management does not pay enough attention to the quality of service and room readiness. I booked two rooms. In the first room, the fridge and hairdryer were not working when we arrived. A technician had to come and fix them by reconnecting the cable and resetting the hairdryer. In the second room, the air conditioner kept lowering the temperature on its own, which made the room uncomfortable. The beach location is good, but the balcony design was disappointing because it was connected closely to other balconies, so there was very little privacy. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. The restrooms were not cleaned properly every time, and room service was not automatic. We had to ask every day for the room to be cleaned. The friendly staff helped, but for the price and location, I expected better room maintenance, cleaner bathrooms, and more reliable daily housekeeping. This hotel has a good beach location, but travelers should be aware that service and room conditions may not match expectations.
