I did not see the parking lot, so I asked the Valet man where the parking lot is located, and he said for what? I said, to park my car. He said there is ONLY valet parking available. My husband was driving the car which I checked in and I wanted to verify with the front desk that that was correct information - ONLY VALET - she said, no, there are two FREE lots and told me where to find them. I told her what the Valet person said, and she said I don't know why he said that. I went to him and asked, and he said, I am here to make money !!! He was very rude and unprofessional. He also saw me struggling with my bags when I first arrived and he could have easily assited with rolling a cart over to me which he was sitting next to, but chose not to.

The Hotel was beautiful very clean and new, the staff was mostly friendly, and breakfast was great every morning. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very spacious and nice. The location is fantastic walking distance to everything. My only complaint is the lack of parking and the $20 Valet charge which doesn’t guarantee you get valet parked when you come in late. We had to park pretty far down the street after a wedding in high heels and walk after we paid the $20 Valet because he said it was full. They refunded the $ but it was the principal that we should have had a spot reserved.

The hotel was clean. Our room was not thoroughly cleaned; left over trash from previous guests were present. The bathroom barn doors are heavy and hard to slide. The water pressure is weak. The pillows were uncomfortable and not supportive for side sleeping. The bed was comfortable and I like that the rooms have black out curtains. You can hear sounds of downtown if there are events. The staff are socially lacking. The check-in process was easy but socially awkward. The breakfast is subpar.

Room was pretty clean. Bathroom could have used some extra care. Toiletries were not full and some stains in shower. Could hear a lot from next room. Parking was a bit annoying. Hotel was pretty clean overall. Only valet for find street parking and it wasn’t clear prior to arrival. Overall it was pretty good.

Bathroom floor was greasy. Table dirty. Had 2 reservations and staff member in the morning couldn’t find one of them, had a I don’t care attitude. Stayed here a year ago and it was much better then.

Perfect location in Huntington. Hotel was BEAUTIFUL but the showers definitely have mold, they don’t drain properly so the water sits. And the thermostat is odd. If you try to increase the temp on the AC by one or two degrees it kicks the heat on. Overall I would definitely stay again it’ll be one of the nicest/updated hotels in the area that’s reasonably priced.

The hotel is in an excellent place that allowed for a variety of dining options. The area is extremely walkable and very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and delivered a restful night of sleep. Staff was very professional and pleasant. Breakfast was enjoyable with many options to choise from.

Thea/C unit was practically up against the bed and was extremely noisy, as were the sounds from the hotel as the walls are paper thin! Upon an early checkout, the valet was no where to be found to retrieve our car, and the desk clerk had to get it for us. When he at last arrived, he offered no assistance with loading our luggage.

The hotel is new and clean. Our room was spacious and had a cool view of the town. The person who checked us in wasn’t too friendly but did fine. We ate at a few local restaurants and had a great experience at each one. Everything was in walking distance to the hotel.

The water flow out of the shower-head was terrible. This is the third time I stayed at your facility. I’m not sure I’m coming back unless they do something about the shower and the increase the flow of water such that one can have a nice shower. It’s an easy fix. Don’t use water restrict washers and have a better flow Shower-head.

All was good - only reason not excellent is that the tv in our room didn't work properly - it may have been a bandwidth issue as every channel would freeze up and digitize - quite annoying but we just turned it off after a while of dealing with it and didn’t notify them until the next morning when we were checking out.

The room was close to the front entrance to all of the other hotel rooms so there was a lot of traffic going by my door and it was very noisy. The shower was terrible. They have a water restricted washer on the shower nozzle and it was so disappointing considering how nice the bathroom looked, yet taking a shower was a terrible disappointment. It really ruined the stay at the hotel. There’s nothing worse than a crappy shower in the morning.

Arrived late on an overnight business trip and front desk Manager Shelly was very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold options at the well stocked buffet and valet service was very convenient.

Check in process was incredibly long and seemed as if the staff didn’t know what to do. After a very long check in (which took 20 minutes) our room key didn’t even work to get into our room. We travel every weekend for work and check ins usually take 5 to 7 minutes this was very bizarre.

I’ve been going through a really hard time lately. All I wanted to do was getaway from home and relax, watch tv and just veg out. The tv was not working. There was no wifi. I called the front desk and the woman was very dismissive about it and said nothing could be done. Not apologetic at all. Basically an Oh Well attitude. I again brought it up at check out and again another Oh Well attitude.

Don’t expect your room to match the pictures here on Expedia. I paid for a suite with a wet bar and sofa per the photos that I saw of this particular room. Upon arriving, I was given a room with no couch. When I brought it to the attention of the woman at the front desk, she basically shrugged and said Expedia was wrong. She did not make the slightest attempt to make things right for me. Very disappointing, considering all of these seemingly amazing reviews. Breakfast buffet was standard. The best part about this hotel is its location.

Second time we have stayed here-we have family in the area-both times difficulty finding staff at the main desk. Once late at night and this past time at 5:30 in the am-when we needed our car. I would suggest a bell or a phone number posted for after hour needs.

Customer service was top tier from front desk, to valet, and everyone else encountered in between. Booked a suite- bedding was super comfortable. Walking distance to the Paramount. Excellent included breakfast!

We very much enjoyed the location, which is walkable to all restaurants and shops in Huntington. The hotel is also very convenient to surrounding state parks, historic landmarks, gardens and quaint villages. Definitely will stay there again.

I really like the Hampton Inn and Suites! It's a great location in downtown Huntington with restaurants and shops and parks. The hotel is very clean. My room was very clean and cozy. I also love the indoor hotel lounge and outdoor sitting area with couches, table/chairs and a fire pit. It's a great hotel overall! :-)

This room was SO CLEAN! …the carpet, the beds and the bathroom were so nice! Breakfast was meh, but they served guava passion fruit juice… haven’t seen that since tang! Parking was disappointing; no lot and they had a valet fee… HOWEVER…. Everything was walkable. Bars, restaurants, galleries, live music venues and shopping. Also, I loved their soap, lotion and hair products! Gentle and smelled amazing! 🤗

Our electricity went out in the room but was restored immediately. There was constant noise above our room. The breakfast was the worst I have had at any Hamptom property, Turkey sausage, eggs were like powdered eggs, hash potatoes were cold, and bagels were small. We paid over $300 a night and then were charged $20 a night for valet parking. We certainly did not receive any value for our stay.
