There is construction inside the Hotel. Very loud hammering and stone cutting saws beginning at 8am every morning except Sunday. It appears that this new building wing construction will be on going for weeks at least.

If you are looking for a pool, this is not your place, they do not have one. If you are looking for a great place in the heart of the art district, walking distance to everything, clean, great rooms and wonderful staff, this is your place.super affordable and all you need! On top of that, they have free underground gated parking! They also have beach towels at the front desk. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Hotel Colli represents a great value in a convenient location. It's clean and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and competent. (If this seems understated, remember that many establishments don't rise to this level.) Free parking is available under the building but you have to go around the block (one-way streets) to access it. At the moment, there is a lot of construction noise, which is expected to continue until April 2025. However, if you're in San Jose on a budget, this is a terrific choice! (If you need decent coffee your first morning in town, forego the free coffee at the hotel but turn right from the front door and get espresso drinks at the ice cream shop on the corner. It opens at 7:30.)

Nice decent hotel. A lot of noisy from the street, and bars around the area. Parking is very small and hard to park. Excellent location to get to know the downtown area, the Mision, etf.

Room was clean and adequate. Hotel was quiet, even though a block from cathedral square and the shops and restaurants. Maid found a left item and almost immediately came to the desk with it--thanks for that! Before driving there, you should get detailed driving directions to go directly to the parking deck below the hotel. There is no street parking, and the garage is off a one-way street, which will require you going around the block to get there.

Comfortable, convenient, friendly staff. A tad noisy (we were facing the street on one occasion and the patio on another occasion, a week apart). Very nice decor. Comfy beds. Beware that parking fills up so if you arrive late you’ll have to park elsewhere on your own.

Great motel, close location to town square. We stayed on a Thursday night, which is Art Walk, so it was very busy and quite loud into the night, but being so close to everything was nice. Parking was an issue, they have a secure parking lot that we parked in when we checked in, but after returning at 7pm, it was full, so we had to park in the street. Bed was more comfortable than most motels. We would definitely stay there again.

When I entered the room the first time, there was a dead cockroach on the floor, which was odd, because I was told I needed to wait to check in until they finished cleaning. They were literally just there cleaning. The room only had a window which looked out into a dark hallway. The drape had to be closed at all times, or everyone would see in, because you needed to have the lights on, even in the daytime. This was like a prison cell, not a hotel room. Should have been a closet instead of a room. There were 2 beds in the room, but only one wash cloth. The basin had hot water but the water never got hot in the shower. I had to shower at my friend's room. It had rained a lot, so there were puddles of water everywhere you were supposed to walk in the hotel, and it was impossible to keep your shoes dry. On the positive side, the location of the hotel was great.

I love this cute hotel, However I wish there was a refrigerator and a coffee pot in the room. That was the only down fall, and it had no pool but we knew that coming in to stay. We stayed there for Convience and the restaurant NOA next to it was amazing. We are there several times.

Just a delightful small boutique hotel with an interesting history. We were only there for one night, but if we were staying in San Jose del Cabo again, this is where we would want to be. There was a loud party going on next door but we were so tired it didn't bother us. Apparently that's pretty common since there were ear plugs provided in the room.

The room was inadequate, the bathroom sink was inside the shower stall which made it difficult to shower and made it difficult to do all the bathroom necessities. The mattress was very hard and no service was offered to assist with taking luggage to and from the room.

Room was excellent, location outstanding as well. I'd have given it 5 stars Unfortunately there was some sort of race or something on the streets and we were treated to loud music blasted as if it were a pub from say 5:30 AM to 8:30AM - and we as well as our newborn got no sleep. It's probably not the fault of the hotel (they were excellent) - but probably better sound proofing could have made our stay 5 star worthy. Once again, only commenting here so others are aware of the noise aspect, but the hotel is an amazing place to stay in an amazing location.

this hotel has no outdoor space. The photos make it look roomier and airier than it is. The lobby area is cramped and not conducive to hanging out more than a minute. The room was huge and clean, with a big bathroom and shower. You get a water carafe to fill with filtered water from the hall. We got a balcony which made it really nice as we could watch all the action on the street and feel more a part of the scene. The bed was super comfortable with a good pillow. You are right downtown, half a block from the main square and the cathedral. There is plenty of wandering and shopping and eating in this area.

Also, we greatly appreciated a clean room, enjoyable courtyard and lobby, and felt very safe during our stay. Additionally we appreciate the excellent location to many wonderful restaurants, historic buildings, and reasonable walking distance to beach.

Wonderful hotel! Room was beautifully decorated and charming. Staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. Nice common areas, very clean everywhere, and great location right near the art district and main plaza in town. One thing to be aware of--I don't believe they have an elevator (stairs were no problem for us). Highly recommended!

Hotel Colli is situated in the heart of SJD’s art district, offering a prime location near the town square. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Very clean. Friendly and efficient staff. Complimentary coffee & tea. Mini market onsite. Walking distance to the beach (2.3 km). Ten minute walk to pickleball courts. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Colli is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of the action. The staff are exceptional. The hotel is clean and comfortable. I booked a courtyard view king room. It was a good size for 2 people travelling with luggage. Hotel Colli is a family owned business that has exprienced 3 generations of operations. The Courtyard is cool and comfortable throughout the day. Traditional art and decorations throughout the hotel provide old world charm from top to bottom. Many quiet seating options are available in the courtyard and 2nd floor patio. Palm trees reach to the roof in several spots. Plants and floral presentations are abundant. Our room had a shower in the bathroom. We did not have a mini fridge or in room safe but some rooms are equipped with a safe. The onsite restaurent, NAO was 1st class. Modern, clean, comfortable and equipped with a fantastc kitchen. We enjoyed breakfast and supper meals at NAO and both the service and meals stood apart. You are in the heart of the arts and cultural district and will have easy access to local shops and services. Easy to enjoy at your comfort level. A star staff member of the hotel is a charming cat, Michi who will be pleased to greet and provide you the comfort of his purrs and rubs. This was our 1st trip to Hotel Colli and it was an outstanding experience. Thursday evenings there is a large market in th main square.

Second consecutive year, staying here, perfect location, right in the center of historic old town, beautiful, nautical historic designs. Staff at the front desk are very kind and accommodating and polite, and speak Spanish and English. Nice restaurant attached is on the pricey side, but delicious food, and great ambience.
