Friendly and helpful staff, clean and well maintained room and amenities, great buffet breakfast, fantastic pool view, and good location with direct BTS and lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Only issue was that it was difficult to schedule a couples massage at the spa. Ended up going elsewhere. Try to book in advance if possible. Overall would definitely stay here again. Wonderful hotel.

The property offered a decent stay with well-organized and structured facilities. The breakfast options were truly superb. However, the room experience was disappointing. The initial room assigned had a noticeable smoke and mold odor. Despite requesting a non-smoking room, I was initially told that the smell was common for a Japanese hotel and not a cause for concern. After insisting, I was moved to a different room. While the agent ultimately acknowledged the problem, the initial response and lack of immediate resolution were unsatisfactory. Furthermore, the even bar team seriously need proper training. I ordered a bottle of wine, 25 minutes later I reminded the agent again about the wine. His response was "ops I forgot" Keep in mind, my partner and I were the only guests at the bar section. Then starting to give us terrible attitude for acknowledging his lack of service.

It was my third visit and convinced Okura is a gem. The service is always consistent: friendly and accommodating staff. In particular, I want to single out Assistant Front Desk Manager Bo and her team. You make the guests feel welcome from check in to check out! I also want to send a big mahalo (Hawaiian for thank you) to Namtip, my housekeeper, who kept my room clean and comfy during my stay! Thank you to the staff at the Club Lounge…your service is exceptional! The daily breakfast buffet at Up and Above is amazing; what an awesome selection! The staff (waiters and chefs) do a great job taking care of not only me but all the guests who were there when I was! La Patisserie on the ground level is an absolute must! The pastries are an astronomical delight! Finally, thank you to GM Nick. You are always present, taking the time to greet guests and assist your team members! It happened daily! You are an amazing part of Okura. You not only make the guests feel welcome, but you set a great example for the employees. Everyone has a role in Okura’s success but it always starts at the top! Thank you for another excellent stay. As I told Nick (and others), this time I stayed at Shangri-la for my first 4 nights. It does not compare to Okura even one tiny bit! I’ll be back! The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room were immaculate and very comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, had variety of food to choose from and love the convenient location as it's close to the station and malls. I will certainly stay here again.

Really great stay. Very comfortable rooms - spacious, air conditioning worked a treat to bring the room temp down quickly, great blackout curtains that kept the room dark for a good sleep, well insulated, and a wonderful bathroom with great water pressure. Had bought some stuff on the internet to be delivered to the hotel. No problems with picking up items. I had some difficulty finding one of the items. The concierge Khun soraath was super helpful, checking online on the item, and then with the bellhop team on level 1 once he knew the item had arrived, and even delivered the item to my room personally. Thus is my third stay here, and I plan to come back my next trip to Bangkok,

The Okura team were all very knowledgeable and super helpful. The rooms were good size but some parts you can tell is a little old and worn. Good selection of international breakfast., didn't have time to try the traditional Japanese breakfast. WiFi can be a little spotty. Beautiful swimming pool. Great location as it right next to an BTS skyline station. Highly recommend

I stayed in a corner room that offered me panoramic views of the city. Not only was the room bigger, the toilet area was bigger too. It offered dual facing of the city as it was in a corner. Room looked fresh and clean, very well kept. The bed was ultra comfy, the TV channels were engaging, the bathtub size made everything perfect. The amenities in the room were well stocked. Housekeeper replenished my fruit plate daily which I feel was a good gesture. Facilities in the hotel were also exclusive and well decorated. The gym was probably one of the more well equipped gyms I had ever visited in a 5-star hotel. They had an infinity pool just outside the gym which overlooked the city area from a height of 24 floors. Breakfast buffet was both international and Japanese themed. It looked amazing and I was really spoilt for choice. Location wise, BTS station was just a 3 mins walk away but it was not directed connected. Calling for Grab car (Uber) could be challenging due to its location in the city area. Overall, I have 0 complains with my stay here and would definitely return again.

Room was one of the most clean and comfortable I have stayed in Bangkok so far. My only complaint is that the air-con was too cold even after setting low with 30 deg. Location is convenient as Central Embassy is nearby and it is a 15-20 mins walk to Siam Paragon. The Okura Prestige is definitely on my list the next trip to Bangkok.

Great sized room (we chose the corner room and the views on both sides was so worth it), top class amenities including a Japanese WC , an amazing comfortable bed , one of the best buffet breakfast and opposite the metro / subway station. What else can you ask for ! I just hope they had more options for airport pickup and drops besides the Merc so more guests can choose else it is slightly expensive.

The first step to this hotel on my first day was a terrible experience. The water and power was out due to maintenance which meant the elevators were out till 6ish. We ended waiting 25minutes in the warm for a fireman lift. To compensate this, the hotel had a little canapés/drinks station. I had an upgrade, room was reasonable. 2802 for those who want a corner deluxe twin room of the view of Bangkok’s cityscape. Breakfast next day- had a choice of international buffet which was nothing to rave about. Pancakes were left out under light but still quite cold. Coffee was clearly from a machine- absymal. Tea was glugy and thick. Choice to sit inside or outside- if you do intend to sit outside, you might wanna head there early due to its popularity. Throughout my stay the corridor outside my room leading to the elevators smelled like cigarette smoke. I have complained about this both to okura services and front desk, but they just looked at me without offering a change of room. Housekeeping was slow with request, asked for teabags and bottles of water which I had to wait 2hours for. Appalling. My final straw to cap this stay at this hotel was that I had to lug and lift my luggage (with help of the Grab driver). I felt the hotel was overstaffed. Honestly, the perks are the convenience of having central embassy and BTS within a stone throw distance but the service…remains absymal. Although thanks for the super late checkout without additional fees and a upgrade

The VIP benefits were denied base on rule of availability. I had to prove property that on their website and Expedia the next level room for upgrade was available for the dates I was staying and there were multiple rooms. After a long discussion and showing on my phone the availability, I was them giving the room upgrade. I felt un appreciated, lie to and make a fool. I guess should not had to verify if the hotel is telling the trust on room upgrade availability especially a 5 start Hotel that should have a reputation and standard to uphold by. This is very disappointing, specially for a 5 start Hotel.

An excellent stay. The room was very confortable, spacious, and quiet. The blackout curtains work well to keep the room dark in the morning, and the shower pressure was very good. We had a little problem with the aircon, and I commented on the hotel.com check in feedback form, intending to ask the front desk for help when I headed out, but amazingly, the technician was at the door within 20 min, and managed to adjust the room temperature to a cooler setting for us. I was really impressed with the speed of response. They offer a turn down service, and the signature orizurus were a really nice touch. The pool was spectacular, and there was both a steam room and a dry sauna. The gym looks well equipped although I did not use it. The hotel is well located, connected to phloen chit bts via a walkway (exit 2). I will come back again.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff are very polite and helpful and service is incredible. Breakfast is bountiful and delicious - we often did not eat again until the evening due to how full we would be from the variety of delicious food. We had club lounge access which allowed for some lovely cocktails in the evening with magical views of the surrounding buildings. The pool is heated and offers a great views - a nice place to relax. I would gladly stay here again!

We absolutely loved this hotel. It felt fresh and luxurious with excellent service, a fantastic breakfast, and a magical pool. The room was spacious, spotless, and offered an impressive view. The location is great – right in the financial district and directly connected to the Skytrain, making it super easy to get around. My wife and I would be more than happy to come back!

Really nice high end property. Only issue I had was at Elements the 1 star michelin restaurant on property. I don't think it was really worth the money. Too many misses and just ok dishes on a 8 course menu. 2 out of 8 courses were good, 1 out of 3 amuse was good, service was great but get rid of white glove service during sliverware change. The stay at Okura Prestige Bangkok was wonderful from beginning to end! The corner king room on the 30th floor had an awesome view of the city and I loved all of the upscale features such as remote blackout and sunscreen shades and lighting control. The room was very large and exceptionally clean! The housekeeping service did a wonderful job and left an origami crane on your bed every night and a fresh plate of fruit! The bar in the lobby was very nice and convenient! The breakfast in the Above and Beyond Restaurant was over the top...anything you could possibly image was there! Everything was very fresh and tasty! I also had dinner at the Michelin restaurant, Element, on the 25th floor. It was excellent...the taste of the food and the presentation was beautiful, the service was also excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bangkok!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Okura Prestige Hotel in Bangkok for six days in January 2025, and it was a wonderful experience. Our family stayed in club rooms with lounge access, enjoying a sensational breakfast buffet every day. The hotel exudes elegance, with a professional team that provides exceptional service. The pool at night, with its stunning views of Bangkok, is truly an experience. The hotel’s location is perfect, with easy access to the BTS and popular shopping destinations like Central Embassy, Central World, and Siam Paragon—all within walking distance. The hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu, offers French cuisine with Japanese influences. The complimentary minibar and laundry service were nice touches. My wife and children never wanted to leave. All in all, the Okura Prestige was a wonderful place to stay in Bangkok and we highly recommend it. We look forward to returning in the future…

Service and location was great. Would be nice if have usb chargers in room. Breakfast was rather clunky to get through in and out. Enjoyed Breakfast more couple years ago where actual breakfast was served with a semi buffet.
