Wonderful hotel and staff, just wish the hot tub could stay open later than 8pm to soak after a long day of hiking

Loved the pool, sauna and hot tub - very relaxing. Staff at breakfast particularly effective with dietary requirements. Lovely quiet bedroom. Walk into town centre about 20 minutes.

Great hotel, 20min walk into town and the beach but this does involve a steep hill which may not suit some. The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble and complimentary pass to the spa was much appreciated. Good choice of food if eating in and a great breakfast. Plenty of parking places. Would stay again if in the area.

The staff were super friendly and really welcoming. Sadly the water pressure in our shower was really low, which meant it wasn’t very pleasant to shower in. The coffee machine in the bar wasn’t working so we had to order filter coffee instead. Unfortunately it was gritty and bitter and wasn’t very good quality. Despite this we were charged £8 for what was essentially 2 cups of awful coffee. The spa area was very small and the conservative area was quite cold so you wouldn’t want to spend any time relaxing on the loungers. In addition, the sauna was only very slightly warm - not exactly the heat you want from a sauna.

Everything was amazing. The only feedback I have is I booked through Expedia which states parking is complimentary, but I was charged £5 as per the hotels policy

This is a beautiful spa hotel north of Tenby (about a five minute drive into the town center). There are a number of spa options available, but with your room you can access the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The hotel will block off a time period where you and your party will be the only ones enjoying these facilities.The restaurant has a nice selection of south Asian, east Asian and traditional British dishes, and the food is very, very good! So is the breakfast, which is included with the room. The rooms have balconies, and are very spacious and well appointed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to relax and treat yourself!

Lovely hotel with great spa -pool infra red sauna jacuzzi and heated outdoor hot tub. You can also book a treatment massage etc. Everyone at the hotel are super friendly and very polite . Very quite location and walkable into Tenby . Great breakfasts selection with hot and cold options. The Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were delicious.

Family room of 4 was not in great condition, poor ventilation, smell of mould in bathroom (botch repair around the edges of the bath that needs to be re-grouted / silicone and either ice cold or heated by a noisy air conditioning unit.

We've just had a lovely weekend at this spa hotel and we couldn't fault the staff but for the money we'd expected a little more from the room. If you're booking the largest room available for a relaxing weekend, you want those creature comforts. The bathroom was lacklustre with a small bath / shower, the pillows were flat, there's no mini fridge, the carpets hadn't been hoovered properly, the TV was basic with limited options. Whilst these small details can be overlooked, they contribute to the loss of any wow factor.

Very friendly staff and front of house. Very accommodating and we're quick to help in anyway. Room was clean and airy. Spa facilities were decent and very clean again. Was traveling with a friend but could see families staying in the hotel who also seems well looked after. Would recommend as close to town and quiet

A lovely hotel in Tenby approximately 15 minutes walk to the beach. We were upgraded, which was nice, but the room we were put in obviously had a damp problem. Unfortunately because the hotel was fully booked they could only move us on our second night (which was our last night). It seemed daft to move then. It was a shame as you don’t expect to pay spa hotel prices to sleep in a damp smelling room, it did put a ‘dampener’ on our stay (excuse the pun). The room also needed a bit of TLC: broken tiles in the bathroom, leaking shower door and a lick of paint as some places were quite worn. The restaurant however, was really beautifully decorated, the service was spot on and the food was amazing (a bit pricey in comparison to other places in the area).

Our stay was fantastic. The hotel was so well kept, clean and tidy, and we booked treatments which were great too. Food was fantastic and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that there was no fridge in the room, and the water pressure from the shower was terrible

Lovely warm welcoming staff.Very clean rooms ,however the room was cold on arrival and had great difficulty operating the aircon / heat .Food very overpriced and not actually getting the 3 small corn crisps added with my curry??? Never had that before .

The team make this hotel. The level of service is really excellent. We stayed with our two young children, Mandy at reception could not have been more accommodating - arranging for us to access the pool first thing in the morning so we could make the most of our stay. The bar and restaurant are excellent and serve very good food. Breakfast was delicious, again the service was wonderful. Our only grumble would be a struggle to have a decent shower - the pressure was poor, but we understand this can be difficult to manage in an older building. Thank you to Mandy and the rest of the team for looking after us so well.

From beginning to end the visit was superb. Prior to visit booked dinner and spa session, receptionist super helpful and friendly. Check in smooth shown to our room. Lovely touch heart shape Welsh cakes waiting us for valentines. Room comfy and warm. Clean and plenty of fresh towels. Session in spa very relaxing not over crowded. Dinner menu varied also valentine special. Food and service exceptional. Breakfast choice very good food hot and plentiful. 3rd stay at hotel highly recommend we will be back.

Lovely hotel! Very nice and welcoming staff. Breakfast was delicious, pool facilities amazing, location superb! The only downside is very little light outside the car park which makes it difficult to drive and park the car if you coming in the dark hours. Would definitely recommend and stay again

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, taking advantage of the pool area and the breakfasts. The staff were really great - very friendly and helpful. Walking distance into Tenby centre, although there were a couple of steepish inclines.

What a fantastic beautiful hotel, staff are really friendly and welcoming. The rooms are at a very high standard and meets beyond expectations the restaurant and spar was absolutely stunning. We checked out this morning and already booked to stay there again in August. Perfect location with in walking distance from tenby town centre.

This hotel is not convenient to the downtown and beaches. Yes it is walkable with lots of hills and traffic. You would not want to walk back and forth.

Loved the location - easy walk to shopping and restaurants - loved the pool/spa amenity and staff was all terrific - helpful and kind

Taxi's to and from the hotel were cheap in comparison to where we live so no need to worry if you struggle to walk

Overly expensive for food and drinks

My partner and I have just returned from the Heywood Spa hotel in Tenby . It is a very smart tidy hotel with excellent facilities, we really enjoyed the spar which was lovely ! The food there is delicious I would definitely recommend the Asian dishes that they do in the evening in the restaurant. I did want to try the steak but at £39 I did feel a bit steep so I stuck with Asian which was delicious . The staff in the restaurant were excellent very friendly and couldn’t do more for you . The breakfast was included with our stay , and wonderful but I did think that the evening menu was a bit pricey . And in the actually well stocked bar , £8.25 for a pint of Peroni … a little much to be honest. Overall we enjoyed our stay , I can’t however say that it was value for money as I thought that it was expensive, overall . To put £15 on our final bill for 2 nights parking I thought a little insulting after the money we’d spend plus an £11 service charge in the restaurant did leave me with a bad taste in my mouth as I left . It was a shame that they did that as otherwise it was a wonderful stay . A wonderful hotel spoilt by overpricing in various departments so unfortunately we wouldn’t return on that basis … but if you are rich and money is not an issue then you will enjoy the Heywood Spa Tenby

Booked in and on first entrance to the room it was like walking into an ice box. Point to note for owners, if the room is going to be used then at least put the heating on low so there is some warmth when a customer walks in. Pool and sauna was nice although we never used it due to being too tired in the morning. The food. This is where it grinds my gears. If you pay £150 for one nights stay (breakfast included) then why is the food so ridiculously overpriced for an evening meal? Everything on the table pointed towards being sourced from Castell Howell, so why was everything overpriced? £22 for a meal? £10 for desserts? £4.75 for garlic bread? All in all, I paid £98 for a full meal for two with one glass of wine each. Was it cooked by a Michelin star chef or something? There was no signs to suggest otherwise, so I do not understand how they can price it that high. Morning breakfast was ok. We had a coffee each prior to breakfast arriving, then another while having breakfast. I then asked for another as I would have liked one after breakfast. I asked the waiter then waited, and waited. Nothing came, so we headed back to the room to pack as we had a four hour journey ahead. All in all it was an ok stay. Room was nice as was the building and amenities themselves. I wouldn't come again, just on the basis that the food is in my view very overpriced. All in all £250 for a nights stay for two with an evening meal? In this financial climate, was it worth it?

The customer service is second to none. I cannot compliment this hotel enough. Prompt fridndly check in, super vlean favilities with a quaint comfortable bedroom. The chef is excellent (mh brother is a chef snd havinv lived in aasia im picky sith Asian cusine setved out of the continent. It was outstanding). The waiting staff were very professional and friendly. I had only intended on staying a night and booked a second because of the great setvice

This hotel is very nice, the food was good but quite expensive! The pool was very cold on the 1st day we were there but got warmer each day. We thought the crisps and nut were expensive at £2.25 and the ale went up by 35p in 2 days! It was a relaxing hotel the breakfasts were really good and the staff were really good.I would stay here again I would have like to eat at the hotel more but it was just too expensive for us.
