So far our stay has been wonderful. Five out of five on everything. The breakfast included in the stay was delicious. There are four breakfast options. Each is wonderful. We swim in the pool in the morning.

Ambiente mágico, transmite la esencia de Antigua, el restaurante, el mejor. Barcitos, terrazas, salas con piano bar, ambientes especiales.

Beautiful property and rooms are impeccably decorated (beds are extremely comfortable). Conveniently located. Restaurant food was delicious. Staff was great. Pool had limited hours and wasn’t hearted.

We loved staying at this hotel in Antigua Guatemala! The restaurant is great, the rooms are beautiful and the location is fantastic, just 4 blocks from the Central Park with lots of stuff around. The only downsides are that the rooms don't have AC so it can get pretty warm sometimes, and the pool is only open from 7am to 11am bc it's next to the restaurant.

Vi elskede dette hotel! Hotellet var fantastisk. Indretningen var smuk, og der var så mange skønne og finurlige detaljer. Vi elskede tagterrassen i tre niveauer, hvor man havde en fantastisk udsigt over tagene til vulkanerne. Det er muligt at finde sig en liggestol eller sofakrog, hvor man kan sidde med sin bog og en drink. I baren tænder de op i kaminen om aftenen (aftenerne kan være lidt kølige), og der er nogle fantastisk flotte kaminer i nogle af værelserne, som de også gerne tænder op i for en, hvis man ikke selv vil kaste sig ud i det. Vi syntes nu ikke, behovet var så stort, da vi var der, men måske på andre årstider…. Restauranten var fremragende. Personalet var søde og hjælpsomme. Stemningen på stedet var skøn. Hotellet ligger i bekvem gåafstand til centrum. Vi vil gerne vende tilbage hertil!

Parqueo de tierra y si llueve es un lodasal

I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and this is one of my favorite. We stayed in the Blue Room, and it was stunning. The entire property is enchanting with picturesque nooks where you can sit and enjoy a cocktail, a read or a chat. The pool is situated amongst the open air dining area and was quite chilly, but we still enjoyed lounging by it and dipping our feet in. Perhaps not best for a full on swim though especially because most days it’s closed for swimming after 11 AM. The included breakfast is tasty, and the bar offers a fantastic list of cocktails. Highly recommend this property.

What a stunning hotel! Panza Verde exceeded our expectations in every way & can't say enough. We upgraded to the exquisite jr. suite #11 that looked out over the pool & dining room that was so beautiful we wished we could have extended our stay. The complimentary breakfast with cappuccino included was delicious. We enjoyed dinner and the fabulous musician singing. We look forward to coming back on a weekend to experience the speakeasy! The staff was superb as well.

Primera vez en este apartamento, fui con una amiga pero creo que es más apropiado para parejas. La habitación es grande y cómoda. El desayuno estaba incluido pero hay pocas opciones. Tiene la gran ventaja de contar con parqueadero.

Hotel espectacular.! hermosos detalles por todos lados, habitaciones cómodas, silencio y tranquilidad que te invitan a no salir del hotel La atención del personal espectacular La comida exquisita Tiene un pequeño bar en el sótano muy bonito

-La comida es perfecta. -Si tomas una habitación con terraza puedes tomar el desayuno ahí y evitas estar con más personas. -El baño es muy amplio y cómodo. -Si tomas las habitaciones 8 o 9, debes tener en cuenta que esta muy cerca del restaurante y bajo las escaleras eso puede generarte un poco de ruido a partir de las 8am. -La limpieza es excelente. Y todo el restaurante esta al aire libre así que cuenta con excelente circulación de aire. -Recomiendo que deben tener más personal atento a los huéspedes sobre todo cuando el restaurante esta lleno. -Recomiendo estar más atentos a la llegada de los huéspedes, botones para ayudar con maletas o el parqueo. -El bar es excelente. -Recomiendo tener disponible money exchange, no pude cambiar dólares por quetzales.

Beautiful property, with a wonderful blend of colonial inspired architecture and lush foliage. Breakfast was great and the dinner restaurant was also amazing (you are paying higher prices for dinner). Everything was clean and communicated well.

Beautiful and romantic place! A couple of blocks from the Central Plaza, the hotel counts with a friendly staff in both the hotel and the restaurant (Christian & Rodrigo, excellent service). Delightful typical breakfast and gourmet meals. Rooms and general areas are impeccably clean and nicely set up with the purpose of making guests feel welcome. Gardens well kept and nicely designed with taste. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back soon.

El restaurante y la comida fue la estrella de la estadía, muy rico todo. Sin embargo, el hotel como tal deja mucho que desear, aún considerando el área de bosque, encontramos muchos insectos en la habitación, incluso en toallas, cama y accesorios del mismo. Cosa que se mencionó y no se hizo nada al respecto o bien, no les importó . La habitación podría mejorar la iluminación y aumentar las comodidades básicas, ya que el precio es bastante elevado y careció muchos detalles que tienen otros hoteles de categoría media y alta ej. Mini bar, A/C, jacuzzi más amplio, Smart TV.

The property is beautiful but the hotel room floor was dirty. The waiters were very kind but but front desk staff wow.. just horrible. I have never experienced staff as rude, disrespectful as the female front desk manager. I will never go back to this hotel.

Beautiful building, with small reception area near the entrance. Looking round there was a small bar hitch made a free welcome drink. A small centre courtyard with flowers and tables to eat alfresco if you wished. Upstairs hosted a small art gallery with some beautiful local artwork. Our room was on the ground floor, which consisted of small ensuit which was immaculate, soap, shower essentials inclusive. Bed

El personal muy amable y la habitación muy limpia. Lo único que no me gustó es que la habitación estaba justo enfrente del restaurante entonces no había privacidad

Room was neat and the hotel staff was extremely accommodating

There was no hot water. We had to shower with cold water The hotel did not offer any explanation or compensation for poor experience.

El hotel está muy bonito el único detalle que tuvimos fue que cuando nos queríamos bañar en varias ocasiones teníamos que hablar a recepción porque no salía el agua caliente. También la TV no tenía buena señal.

Fascinating property with loads of historical features. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. The only thing missing was a small fridge.

The driver they provide for my transfer from the airport almost killed us twice because he was texting while driving. He also touched me several time on my arm/shoulder while talking. Asked me for tip several time during the ride and with all that i did not give any. Checkin was fast and they allowed an early one! Room was cozy but located next to the restaurant and very noisy. Oh and the window in the bathroom opens right on the tables of the restaurant.. For a fancy hotel it was very disappointing in the end. Id recommend going to casa Santa domingo or los pasos instead!

When staying at Panza Verde Hotel you will be guaranteed a unique experience. Off the main boulevard you find peace a solitude from the city square which is just a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Rooms vary in size and appointment. Pass on the double bed rooms for they are small with little natural light. The king bedded rooms have decks or patios that are private. Antiques of the period make it a special place to step back in time. The free breakfast are on the menu and served with juice and coffee. The dinner is a bit pricey but worth every cent charged. Service is superb. Free wi fi, cable as well as parking. A pool is available as well as special activities such as yoga and massages. A cafe is located at the side of the hotel where glass doormat be stepped through to enjoy an afternoon coffee ,wine , breads and pastries. On certain nights live music can be seen for a discounted rate if you are a guest. A piano bar experience. Below the pool is the Blue Room which seats four at the bar with two tables. Port holes of glass set into the bar provides views of swimmers. Weekend openings only. High seasons are Christmas and Easter . Mid week specials are very affordable. They have a conference room seating about 20 . With such numbers they don’t overwhelm the guests with loud bouistros behavior. The locals eat at this restaurant. What does this tell you ? Yep! A fine dining experience is guaranteed.

This place was worth every penny! Absolutely loved everything. We were in Antigua for our anniversary so the romantic setting at this hotel was perfect. The food was delicious, and the staff was very attentive. My only two complaints were that our room (3) was next to the restaurant and some sort of staff cleaning area and it was loud constantly. Our first night people were getting drunk at the table closest to our room and literally yelling. But it stopped when the restaurant closed. It was very awkward opening your room door to staff standing there watching you or people sitting at tables looking in your room. So we tried to make our escape quick. The other thing was, no hot water at certain times. We didn't complain but that was annoying but not a deal breaker. One huge plus about this hotel is that it provides parking and it's close to everything. The breakfast included was delicious, and everything we had in the dinner menu was perfect. What a wonderful experience. I would love to come back and do it all over again. One more thing, is we did the romantic dinner upstairs, but the service sorta fall off quite a bit. Our waiter didn't come around often and at one point, my husband had to get up to go find someone. So I would recommend not doing that. The service downstairs is perfect.

Checking or front desk guys were great, but we ordered room service and we have to call many times to remind them, the room has extremely slippery floors both in the bathroom and the room. The bed is uncomfortable and the room its nice but definitely not worth $400.00 USD/night.

When I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was very rude. Lack of attention. Felt racism. Treated me completely different.

This hotel is so beautiful, the rooms are decorated with hand made textiles and craft from Guatemala. The restaurant is excellent. The staff is very helpful and professional

Amazing staff and attention to detail

Superb boutique hotel near Parque Central. They accomodated me with an early checkin which I greatly appreciated since I was back from the Acatenango volcano. The room was cozy, my small terrase as well. The breakfast was delicious. Had a great time, I recommend !

This hotel had comfortable beds , but was a terrible sleep due to the noise of bar next door. I went to bed early because I had early morning commitments in town. Sadly, the staff would knock on my door and wake me up to see if I needed anything. I was sleeping. This place is not a good value for the money. Too much noise and a pushy staff always asking for a tip.

I would not recommend this hotel due to the noise in the property next door. We were looking for a nice an quiet place to stay, but this hotel did not meet the expectations. If you want loud music pumping through your ears late night, stay here. Otherwise, stay away. By far the worst hotel experience in about 20 years for me.

The property is beautiful, rooms are awesome. Really enjoyed eating in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. A few downers for the price: one night a loud party was going on behind the hotel, the music shook the windows of our room. They spoke to the other hotel and they said they would turn down the music by 10, it was 10:30 they lowered it a bit and it went on until past 12. Second they offer a boxed breakfast if you need to leave early-despite confirming twice, they forgot to pack us one. It is a great hotel-for the price you expect a bit more attention to detail to be truly 5 stars.

The place has antique feeling to it, but we were not able to book a dinner reservation eventhough we were guests at the hotel. The bathroom was nice with a big tub and complimentary salts but no hot water. The speakeasy bar was nice and cozy but no waiters and only one bar tender made the getting our drinks a less than pleasant experience

Unique property and centrally located in Antigua but far away enough from the crowds of the center square. Restaurant is absolutely delicious!
