One of the best hotel I have ever stayed in. They take seriously their quote from the main entrance “If you are happy, we are happy”. They provide you with everything you might need. The room was very spacious, clean, and cozy. The staff was very kind and welcoming. It’s got a warm indoor pool and jacuzzi and a gym. Great for the price!

Was a nice stop on our way home from our road trip to Washington. Good price and was clean. Didn’t stay long but breakfast was included and pretty good. There was a 24 hr gym I wish we had used but we were too tired. Indoor pool too. Wouldn’t mind staying there again on our next trip through Salem!

Room was great and exactly what we needed. Only downside was there was spit made of mucus floating in the pool. Likely was from the most recent guest using the pool being disgusting. Not blaming the hotel since everything else was great but that was unfortunate and very gross to find while swimming. Breakfast was great as well.

The rooms are not clean! I checked in and my first room had wrappers on the floor and dog hair through out. They clearly have not vacuumed in awhile. After talking to staff, I was moved to another room and it is even worse! There are toe nail clippings on the carpet and hair on the pillows. We will never stay here again.

Fast check in! This was one of the cleanest hotels that I’ve stayed in. Plenty of pillows to choose from and the bedding was immaculate. The free breakfast was typical hotel fare, but the area was clean and organized. Kudos to the entire staff.

Well the room was ok! As far as the sofa bed it was another thing. Not clean period. Crumbs underneath as well as an in and out French fries empty container with an empty water bottle underneath sofa. Also when I opened up the bed a huge spider came out and couldn’t catch it. Had to change rooms which took a few hours to do. It was a horrible experience until we were finally able to solve us getting another room after 3am.

All was fine except the mattress. It was way past its prime and as soon as we sat on it, we could feel the wood bed underneath. We did not sleep well and were mostly uncomfortable. Not good.

Husband and I stayed overnight while attending a local event. On the plus side, the front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful and check-in was super fast and easy. Our room was on the third floor and everything was clean and comfortable. The only downside was a loud hammering noise that startled us several times, fortunately not when we were trying to sleep! It sounding like there was someone banging on the walls inside our closet, near the bathroom with a large hammer! The walls were also thin. We could hear our neighbors talking in the room next door; and we were awakened at around 5:00am the next morning by heavy footsteps and a metal water bottle(?) being dropped on the floor in the room above us. IF we stay here again, it will only be if we can have a 4th floor room at the END of a hallway.

Room very nice especially for a wheelchair user. Had a roll in shower which was nice a large however I think as much water filled out as in. The additional floor drain out side the shower didn’t have enough slope to keep a small lake from forming. Very clean and nice carpet a furnishings. They could have used a couple more garbage cons for the size of the room. Overall we were happy enough. Breakfast looked good unfortunately we had little time to enjoy. Great coffee!

This hotel was a great location for our excursion to the Willamette Valley and coast of Oregon. It was quiet, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was perfect and it had wonderful amenities. The only negative was that the mattress was somewhat lumpy and probably due for replacement. The room; however, more than made up for it given its size and layout. I would stay here again if I returned.

The woman at the front desk when we arrived Sunday night at around 8:30 pm. She was over the top fantastic! She greeted everyone with a smile and didn’t get stressed with a lobby waiting for service. She thanked us for our patience and handled everyone with care. I didn’t get her name but should have. This hotel is very lucky to have her!

The initiation of my stay left much to be desired. I took advantage of the digital pre-check-in service through the hotel's app, diligently noting my arrival time of 3 PM. After several hours of traveling, I arrived punctually, only to be informed that our room was still not ready and there would be an additional wait of approximately 45 minutes. This unforeseen delay disrupted the remainder of my day's itinerary. Although the hotel boasts cutting-edge technology, there seemed to be a lack of intelligent communication to pre-emptively manage guest expectations. Moreover, the app's functionality failed to perform as a digital door key on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. The response from the front desk staff was indifferent, with a nonchalant, "Yeah, sometimes that happens." The breakfast offerings were decent, although nothing more than the standard fare one would expect. Despite the initial disappointment, I must commend the quality of the accommodations, which were highly satisfactory. The room was immaculate, offering a pleasing contrast to the initial check-in experience. However, the shaky start did cast a slight shadow over the otherwise pleasant stay.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The morning breakfast available is very good and stays open until 10 am. The downside, the rooms are very noisy. You can hear every movement in the room above along with the road traffic outside. The surrounding area is not the best, a lot of homeless, but they do have a private patrol service that keeps an eye on the parking lot and the grounds. Just as a note, the state penitentiary is only two blocks away. Downtown Salem? Well, you will have to judge for yourself.

I specifically stayed at this hotel because they had an actual breakfast as well as a hot tub. The biggest positive that I wasn't expecting was the central heating. No loud air coming on and off throughout the night. HOWEVER, the temperature of the hot tub so SOOOO hot that everyone could on stay in the tub only a couple of minutes before their skin was bright red. I was very disappointed. The next morning after a good night sleep (thank you quiet heater) I went down to breakfast. People were making waffles and toast and cereal and eating eggs and everything looked good because the staff was constantly taking away the trays and replacing them. (Annoying but understandable; they wanted the buffet to look nice.) HOWEVER, there was NO where to sit. Most tables for 4 had 1 person sitting at them. (It was very crowded.) I had a plate full of food and had to stand in the lobby with my drink on the floor. A trip to Denny's would have actually been better. (The food would have been as well.) I will stay at this hotel again, but only because of the central air.

What I liked...front desk help was excellent and friendly. Entire facility was clean. They didn't cut corners on little amenities in the room. They offered complimentary toiletries if you forgot them. The complimentary breakfast was VERY good. Actual oatmeal (not packages) quality fruit, eggs, waffles...Everything you might want. The furnishings were quality. Clean, smoothly functional dresser drawers. Well made. Built to last. What I didn’t love...the hvac unit was a bit noisy. The shower was clean and functional but worn. Time to replace. I will definitely look to stay at more Hampton Inns in the future.

We were checked in an hour early and requested the top floor for a more quiet stay. The front desk was very accommodating and the room was quiet. Breakfast was nice and varied during our week long visit. Very nice Hampton property.
