Lovely hotel, everyone was friendly, beautiful pool, hot tub. Appreciated the coffee bar and a great location. I can only state one negative, which is that it is a two story property and there isn't an elevator. Or, if there is, I missed it! We'd definitely stay there again.

It had a great pool, hot tub and sauna. The coffee station was great. It is so close to Peninsula state park, Julies Cafe, Wild Tomato. Short walk into downtown Fish Creek. Very convenient. We enjoyed our time there.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The facilities were a bit outdated but very clean. We had a lovely stay and although there was coffee near the lobby no breakfast is offered. Our room, 117, had a gas fireplace to add to the atmosphere. The one question I had was why were the pools, hottub, and sauna, hours of operation so short, 9am to 9pm? By the time you got done in town and had supper it was nearly 9pm. Anyway, a pleasent hotel and stay. Oh and I was informed that you are usually given the best rate if you call the front desk directly. Good to know.

Very walkable location to restaurants, shopping and beach in Fish Creek. Staff are wonderful and room was extremely clean. Comfortable beds. Nice terrace to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Icing on the cake, they have both indoor and outdoor pools! Bathroom was great but a bit small. I would definitely stay there again!

Great stay, great room, great location, and great value, especially for off season! Double queen room was very large with two beds, a fireplace, a balcony, and two sinks outside of the bathroom (the regular bathroom sink and a bar sink). Very clean. And hotel had both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, which is pretty rare for Door County. Of course at this time of year only the indoor pools were open. Hotel is right by entrance to Peninsula State Park, can walk/bike right into it. and right across from Wild Tomato Pizza and the bike rental shop. Easy to walk to downtown Fish Creek also. They also had a locked bike storage room which I've never seen for when you bring your own bike, so you don't have to keep locking it up/taking the wheel off to store it on your car, very nice! We biked right into the park and it's a totally different experience than in the summer. Way less busy and better views without leaves on trees.. Can't believe got all of that for the price we paid. Room would be more than double the price in busy summer months. We usually bring a camper and stay in the summer but had to make a last minute trip up over the weekend and this was a great find of a hotel!

It was a great place to stay. I loved the location and the room was great. I did notice a long hair in our shower, which made me wonder about cleanliness. We enjoyed our room. I loved having a sink for dishes and plastic utensils. Overall a great place.

Rooms are quite dated and bathroom never smelled clean...had old house smell. Great shower. Bed as just ok. For the price of staying, should have better in-room coffee and coffee maker. Need to update in-room furniture and mattress. Need better parking solutions.

Having stayed in many locations in Door County, we would definitely stay here agajn. Check in and check out were very easy and the staff was friendly. The room was clean with the typical amenities (microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, etc. ). Our room had a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. It was very pleasant sitting outside and people watching.

We enjoyed the spaciousness especially the separate bedroom. We didn’t use the pools but the indoor and outdoor were large and very clean. The reason I didn’t give a five star rating all around was the a/c. It was loud and very ineffective , the bedroom never cooled off! Based to overlook when thinking of a repeat trip

Loved the Pine room. Very nice size for family of 4. Beautiful bathroom with huge twin shower and separate soaking tub. The bed in the main bedroom was pretty worn out so we didn’t get the best nice sleep, but overall really enjoyed the property and our stay here!

The suites might be nice, did not see one. The 2 queen hotel type room was like a very old Best Western. Really tiny bathroom with no sink. Vanity is out in the main room. No comfortable chair. Old, run down furniture and decor. Pretty dismal overall. Pools were nice and well maintained.

Stayed here with my mother, she is legally blind and uses a walker. Woman at front desk was very helpful showing us how things worked in the handicap accessible room. I was so happy to find a room that had a recliner as she is unable to sleep in regular bed and sleeps in a recliner at home. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was clean and everyone was mostly friendly. However housekeeping cleaned and checked us out of our room before we officially checked out with the front desk. Within 5 minutes of me leaving the room to pack up my car, a staff member ran to me claiming I left my water bottle behind. I told her we did not check out of our room yet. Upon going back to our room, housekeeping took all of the food items from our fridge (including my birthday cake). My friend staying in the room below us also said housekeeping walked into their room to “check them out” without knocking or asking. This was a great way to have items accidentally stolen and privacy violated.

The staff was wonderful! Very friendly, and extremely accommodating. Due to a freak April Snow storm the facility lost power. They did everything to make us feel comfortable supplying us with glow sticks, flashlights and checking to make sure we had everything we needed. When the power outage continued into the next day and we had to leave, they credited our night's stay. Cannot say enough about the staff and facility. Highly recommend.

It was easy access to places to eat. I can’t remember her name but the woman who checked me in, went above and beyond to help me find a room that was on the first floor, since I have an air cast on my foot. She was extremely nice and helpful, give me a room right by the pool and on the first floor. It was very much appreciated. I feel she went above and beyond for me.

Convenient place, nice staff, room was good. My only real complaint has to do with the reservation process as it integrates with hotels.com. I booked two nights. Soon (to the hotel’s credit) after my confirming and paying the reservation, the front desk called and told me that we would have to switch rooms from one to another after the first night, that the booking process couldn't discern contiguous stay in the same room. And the hotel was basically saying sorry, do you still want to book it or get a refund? And I just didn’t want to horse around and book another so I left it alone, whatever. The place itself was good and the staff excellent, clean room, nice pools, and of course Wild Tomato is across the street is EXCELLENT pizza.

We absolutely love staying at Homestead Suites. We have never stayed in the hotel. We always choose the guest house if it’s available. It is so cute, comfortable and has everything you need. The shower is awesome with two heads. The bed is very comfortable. It has a fireplace which we did not use this time because it was warm. It has a back porch for morning coffee or evening drinks. They have a coffee bar in the hotel which was very nice. We golfed and biked while we were here. Biking Peninsula State Park was right out our door. It was very quiet. We could walk to Fish Creek. Location is phenomenal!

Upon arrival and throughout our staff staff was friendly and attentive. Room was clean, large enough for an extended staff including drawers for clothing and plenty of closest space. The indoor and outdoor pool with hot tub is an added bonus. Very walkable to downtown Fish Creek.

The outdoor pool & hot tub were a nice bonus! We also loved how quiet the room was. Even though it's close to the main road, you could not hear traffic. The only thing we missed is that there's no continental breakfast, but there are plenty of options around & at the reasonable cost of the room, it was reflected.
