The staff was pleasant, parking was a breeze (however, I wish there were in and out privileges), and walking distance from a lot of great spots! The bathroom doors don't lock, the refrigerator makes so much noise (I didn't know it was the fridge until the morning), and the beds are very springy and noisy. Nonetheless, it was an overall comfortable stay!

There was no refrigerator in the room. Most of our lamps were broken. A/C turned on and off during the night. Things in the bathroom were broken. There was really no shower pressure. The elevator broke during our stay. There was a language barrier when we did try to receive help for fixing the tv language setting. And some of the employees attitudes were horrible expect one.

Came to Brooklyn from Florida to attend a concert at The Barclays, the hotel was clean, staff was great and breakfast was actually very good. I was expecting breakfast to be a grab and go situation bt they had a variety of options, eggs, sausages, cereal, oatmeal etc. Parking was kinda pricey at $45 a night bt for me I paid it due to minimal parking on the street. There wasn’t NO hidden fees as in Incidental or Deposits which was great for me. There is a Popeyes and Dunkin Donuts within walk-in distance. I would stay here again if I ever travel to Brooklyn again.

I was very unhappy … got to my room in the basement … My tv didn’t work … There was no phone in the room to call the front desk .. i had to cook the steps cuz the elevator didn’t work .. I told the front desk he said he was coming .. he never came .. so i had to stay the night without a tv .. also there was hair in my bed

So i picked this hotel because im from out of town and i know how park slope has no parking but on the website it states there is parking on the premises no where does it say its extra to park...i got there and the attendant informed me that it was 45 dollars a night to park....i was livid because it was already nearly 200 to stay there and i only picked that hotel because it had parking.....also my tv didnt work...not a great place to stay....

Overall hotel location is great very close to restaurants and subway. We showed up to the hotel around 6pm on checkin day and our bathroom wasnt cleaned well. It still had previous dirty towels and the garbage bin was full with previous guests stuff.. we mentionned to the staff and they acted immediately. Super comfy beds but the bed sheets did not look like they were changed or clean. They looked washed our grey .. we tried not to focus on that and enjoyed our stay nontheless.

Ac barely worked. Kept turning on and off at 60. Head boards were sticky and gross. The shower head was broken and when turned on leaked all over bathroom floor. The room door when opening would slam into a wooden closet and make so much noise also making it hard to get in the room with my special needs child's stroller. That being said when the neighbors would open their doors thru the night there doors slammed also and make super loud noises. Peeling paint in the bathroom by the shower posed risk to my child also.

It seemed a little dirty. There was somebody’s shirt in my room from the last person. I suppose the bathroom was making a dripping noise all night and the vent is extremely loud in the bathroom.

This hotel needs some help! First off there keys for your room deactivate as soon as you put them near anything electronic! I had to go and get new keys 3 different times ! I tried to run a bath and the water came out brown and I have pictures to show as well!

Upon my arrival and check in there were a swarm of gnats in the first room and when i requested to switch rooms the front desk agent had an attitude. Once they did switch my room, they switched me to a room that was not properly cleaned. The bed was infested with bed bugs. I have a witness to this experience. Everyone that knows me know that I’m one of the cleanest people they know and that i was completely healthy upon my arrival. I left the hotel with several bites on my head and left arm.

Horrible at first! There was an awful smell in the room. I found meat in the refrigerator that smelt like it was there for months. I had to keep the door open! My sister had to complain for me because I was too upset! Front desk finally changed my room. The room on the first floor is not great. Let them know that you want an upper floor when you're checking on. All in all it was an okay experience. I will not be back though.

Staff was very friendly. When we arrived expedia had changed room reservations from 1 room with 2 double beds and 1 room with a king to 2 rooms with king beds. This was not the hotels fault but it did create an issue as the room is very small and not able to accommodate a cot and maintain ability to open/close bathroom door. In our room there were areas of obvious material on wall that looked like dried syrup, bundle of hair on floor, corners of bathroom not clean. The tub had no drain cover and tub was very slow to drain making it not suitable for a bath due to back water so children had to shower. Breakfast was nice and clean, kept restocked as used. Overall okay stay but room needs a deep cleaning.

I stayed at this hotel for the BCB convention in Brooklyn, it seems accommodating based on the reviews. I paid $220.00 for a Tuesday to Wednesday stay. The room that was assigned to me, was on floor C, seems to me like the janitor's floor, it was on the lower level and the phone reception was terrible. The bathroom door look from the 80's, the traffic noise from the traffic made it hard for me to sleep until at least 8am, woke up, went to floor 2 for breakfast, what it look like a living room was a " breakfast room, no yogurt available, i only grabbed coffee and went back to my room to take a shower and be on time for the convention at 11am,attempted to blow dry my hair and the dryer smell like burnt. Called front desk, after 45 minutes someone show up stating he needed to change the whole unit, I requested a portable blow dryer and it took over 20 min for that. To be a Wyndham hotel, horrible! Don't waste your money here .

This hotel was perfect for our one-night stay. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the room was on the smaller side but clean and worked well for the three of us! Our only struggle was that the bed was extremely creaky and loud, so anytime anyone rolled over in the night it was pretty obvious. Also, we were watching a movie on the tv and the signal suddenly went out and never came back. Which we did not alert the staff about but they probably would have come to try and fix it if we had alerted them! Overall a good place to stay for a short amount of time.

All in all it’s a good place. The room lacked things like a telephone and something to write on. The breakfast area is small, foods ok and there are no stools for the eating counter. Other than that we enjoyed the small room that was quiet and cozy. Did not like being in a cellar room with a view of parked cars and people walking by the window but the curtains took care of that. Although I made a mistake and only had a stay for one night they allowed us to stay in the same room without interruption, when I added one more night.

My request was for a handicap accessible room but the original room assigned had to be changed. It was in the basement, it was dark, and small. The next room was still small and required a maintenance person to change the showerhead to a hand held shower. The check- in agent was very helpful with making sure we were finally satisfied with the accomodations.

I paid $965 for my stay. Because my flight landed early at JFK, I requested (and received approval for) early check-in. I took an Uber ($$$) directly to the hotel, but then waited in the lobby for over an hour because no room was ready. During check-in—and again at checkout—front desk agent Miriam stated that I would not be charged the $55 early check-in fee given the circumstances. Despite this, a $55 charge has appeared on my card. I’m requesting that management remove this fee and provide an updated folio. Once corrected, I will gladly adjust this review. Clearer communication about room readiness and honoring what staff state to guests would prevent issues like this. BTW, thank you Jasmin for your excellent service!

Room was clean, hotel staff were great. About a block up and a couple blocks over from the subway. My 15 year old daughter and I walked all around and never felt unsafe. It was quiet outside.

The rooms were clean enough but a little shabby. (Paint one the tiles, edges and the bathroom door was funky. The breakfast was good and the lobby /hallways were clean. The front desk staff was mostly surly and had the be pried off their phones and games to snarl a brief answer. The breakfast attendant and the housekeepers we met all were pleasant and greeted us. Front desk staff should all be given a lesson in hospitality,

This place is horrible. The front desk charged me twice. After I already paid for on hotels.com. The man at the front desk tried to embarrass me saying my Amex card got declined even though it was the same card I used to pay when I got there. I had to call hotels.com to issue a refund. Luckily I was only there for a night.

I have went to this property for only three days and, it was a pleasant experience. The pros : Great service, nice amenities, and close to the subways The cons: when asking for maintenance they came 5 hours later to help with a problem, and the room key would not work randomly But I had a great experience!

Nice clean hotel in a convenient location with easy access to public transportation to Manhattan and other areas. There is a really nice Peruvian restaurant across the street. Whole Food located close by on foot. Close to Park Slope and Prospect Park. The only complaints I'd mention are the rooms are small, especially the bathroom. And there wasn't a single hook or rack to hang towels to dry. But I would certainly recommend this place to stay in Brooklyn.

Inexpensive hotel convenient to Park Slope area, 8 minute walk to subway. Easy to find on street shopping nearby. Good serve yourself free breakfast. Not a fancy place to stay but clean and very convenient. Room was ckeabed with fresh towels daily. Good value.

Everything was fine except breakfast. The breakfast room is small and crowded, people getting in each others’ way and waiting to use the toaster, only two slots of which worked. The staff was friendly and efficient.
