The receptionist who was there doesn’t even know what’s going on and don’t know how to check online reservations. The car parking feels unsafe because there are a lot of homeless people around, make sure everyone lock their cars. The rooms are smelly and horrible to stay, the corridors are disgusting as well.

Dirty building. Sheets were disguising. Hallways and rooms smelt like a smokers paradise. Had to put down $200 deposit on a $100 room that was clearly not cleaned beforehand. Area outside didn’t make me feel safe to leave my car. I wouldn’t recommend.

Elevator was filthy, halls were smelly, there was only one towel in the bathroom and no lid on the toilet. The photos on the Expedia website are in no way representative of the current state of this hotel. We found another hotel without taking our luggage into this hotel. I feel sorry for the staff. After 4 days, have not received the $200 security deposit.

I checked in with an open mind. Lobby was unlike the pictures on website. Elevator was unclean, hallway carpets were dark due to dirt/spills. Smell was overwhelming. Got into room, room still smelled like hangover, tv cable system didn't work, washed my hands in hot water, there was no cold water. The shower faucet was falling off, and didn't work. When I checked out at least I got my cash deposit back.

Expedia needs to not advertise this hotel on it's web site. Blood on the sheets, Beds looked to be remade, floors sticky, toilet would not flush, Lock broken off door, fights outside entrance, Heat didn't work, would have left, but we were too tired. Slept 4hours and left. Walked past blood covered rags on the front foyer on the way out. Slept on top of covers with shoes on.

This was one of the dirtiest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The floors were filthy, the bathroom was disgusting, and there was a strong bad smell as soon as I walked in. The bedding didn’t even feel clean. It was clear that no proper cleaning had been done before my arrival. I had no choice but to stay because it was very late, but it was extremely uncomfortable. I would never stay here again and I strongly advise others to avoid this property. It is nothing like the photos shown online.

The property is terribly unsafe and very very dirty! Broken furnitures, bugs and cockroaches and bugs are in the ground and in the bed. The lobby is stinky and not enough lightning in the hallway. Absolutely unhelpful front-desk and totally zero customer service! You should not include this place to your list of hotels. This is where the drug dependent people are housed and this is not considered as a hotel! Please REFUND MY MONEY!

The room toilet was unsanitary, the beds were unmade, very filthy, don’t stay here. I have pictures of this place and can’t believe Expedia promotes this!! Not good I’m still trying to get in contact with Expedia for a reimbursement as I couldn’t stay here, had to find another place to stay.

This property is terrible. The property is dirty. It is the worst hotel I have ever booked The hotel has a strong permanent odour and the bed has traces of bugs. The corridors and the room are unkept and the facilities are very old I have to check out immediately and book another hotel. Please avoid this property if you are visiting Winnipeg.

What I didn't like: First room we got the deadbolt was smashed in and broken off, not a good start so we asked for another room. Second room had a dent right next to the light switch, the entrance light was burnt out, one of the bathroom lighbulbs were missing, puncture or stab marks in the bed sheets/ also dirty, T.V didn't work with cable box, drywall peeling in multiple places, drawers were pretty much destroyed; missing handles and floor pannels, power outlets were either smashed in or missing covers, stains everywhere around the room. The area around was super sketchy too, but I guess thats to be expected in downtown Winnipeg. Was slated for a 2 night stay, but only stayed for 1. Overall bad experience. Wouldn't ever come back.

Half the outlets in the room didn’t work. One lamp didnt have a light bulb at all and the other lamp was a dead light bulb. Tv remote didn’t work. Dresser drawers were missing the bottom of the drawer and the handles to the drawers. Overall terrible experience very very poor room management

Pictures of this property are not accurate. DO NOT BOOK. Hallways wreaked of cigarette smoke, garbage littered in the hall, visible damage to door and suite walls, cigarette burn holes in bed sheets, no lampshade and mildew on shower curtain. Property is not well maintained, I felt unsafe and I checked out and immediately asked for a refund once I saw my room. Front desk staff was nice, completed the refund and apologized which was the only plus about this experience.

The staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. The room had a leaking toilet and absolutely no hot water. The room had stains on the table from the previous people because they obviously could not even wipe down a table. The location is also awful. You can hear the crackheads in the middle of the night at the street corner and the grass area across the road and they wake you up from tweaking out. AVOID THIS ABSOLUTELY CRAP HOLE OF A NASTY MOTEL.

To start with, when my daughter and I arrived just after midnight, we had to ring a buzzer and the gentleman behind the counter, very rudely replied with "What do you want" when I stated I had a reservation, the response, again was rude at it is "What's your name?" Had I not already paid for the room through expedia, I would have told him never mind, I'll take my business elsewhere. and in hindsight, after seeing the room, I should have done that and demanded a refund. The sink the bathroom was cracked, the shower had several large cracks in it to the point neither my daughter or I felt comfortable getting a shower. The dresser in the room had one drawer missing and another drawer smashed. The sheets and blankets on the bed were stained. The overall cleaniness of the room was lacking. I will not be staying in this hotel ever again, and I will be advising friends and family to avoid staying there. Expeida should remove this hotel as an available location to stay at.

I booked this hotel because it looks good when I saw it on Expedia , however it’s sheltered by homeless people dirty and unsafe. To be fair, I cannot speak to the state/quality of the rooms. We had a reservation and upon arriving at the hotel, booked a different hotel from the vehicle. There were drug addicts EVERYWHERE, inside the lobby, outside the building, in the parking lot. I did not feel safe to get out of the vehicle, let alone leave my car parked there overnight. It looked like a zombie apocolypse. We counted how many were in the parking lot and around the building and stopped at 27. It was surreal. Was not happy to have to spend $200 to go elsewhere after having already paid for this hotel but there was no way we were going to stay there!

I like that there is a place for the indigenous people to come in for medical treatment that is close to the the hospital. I dislike the fact that the hotel has not cleaned up its act. Changing the name doesn’t make it suitable for a healthy stay. You can smell the dirt as soon as you walk through the door and then they use an industrial disinfectant in the rooms to cover up the smell of cigarette smoke and urine, there are patches of wall paper torn away from under the windows, traces of mold in the bathroom, the lamp shades are stained and broken. When I checked in in was stressed that was was to be no smoking and was asked for a deposit $200 dollars, I w as there for 2 days as my mother had passed away and I just booked the hotel as it was the first one that came up while I was driving to Winnipeg. I think the health department should do a complete inspection of this place and get back to a healthy place to recover.
I like that there is a place for the indigenous people to come in for medical treatment that is close to the the hospital. I dislike the fact that the hotel has not cleaned up its act. Changing the name doesn’t make it suitable for a healthy stay. You can smell the dirt as soon as you walk through the door and then they use an industrial disinfectant in the rooms to cover up the smell of cigarette smoke and urine, there are patches of wall paper torn away from under the windows, traces of mold in the bathroom, the lamp shades are stained and broken. When I checked in in was stressed that was was to be no smoking and was asked for a deposit $200 dollars, I w as there for 2 days as my mother had passed away and I just booked the hotel as it was the first one that came up while I was driving to Winnipeg. I think the health department should do a complete inspection of this place and get back to a healthy place to recover.

Dirty building. Sheets were disguising. Hallways and rooms smelt like a smokers paradise. Had to put down $200 deposit on a $100 room that was clearly not cleaned beforehand. Area outside didn’t make me feel safe to leave my car. I wouldn’t recommend.

Very very dirty hotel, terrible, they charged a security deposit $200. But they even no mention anything in hotel.com. A lot of drug addicts and drunker around the parking lot, I checked-in at 3:00pm, and checked out at 5:00pm at the same day.

This is NOT a hotel. I believe it is a housing place for homeless people. There was an unrully crowd of drunk people outside the liquor outlet next to the parking lot. We didn't want to park there feeling our vehicle was unsafe. There was one staff person behind a locked enclosed area. The reception area looked like an abandoned building. The restaurant area was stripped bare. The hallway carpet was littered and filthy. There was graffiti on the wall. The room was not too bad, but the box spring of one bed was badly stained red. The whole experience was upsetting and the place felt creepy. This was no place for 5 elderly people, so we left and stayed at a proper hotel. I was most disappointed and distressed.
