Convenient location near the center of Galway. Short walk to the shopping and restaurant district. The hostel was well kempt with friendly and accommodating staff. There is no parking at the hostel, but there are plenty of parking garage options nearby. The one negative is that the room with 4 beds was small with little space to maneuver in even when there was just 2 people present. For a one night stay as a solo traveler, it was well worth it for its central location.

This was a perfect location in the center of town, right above a fun pub. Staff was incredibly present, friendly and helpful. Breakfast and coffee included, discount on a nearby parking garage was really nice. Lockers and a padlock are provided to keep items safe. Also towels are provided. Privacy curtains on the bunks in shared rooms were very appreciated. Next time, I'd bring my own little travel fan for some airflow and white noise.

Overall great, I do recommend earplugs when sleeping but that's goes for all hostels. But it can get a little from the bar below. I never expect there to not be noicy at an hostel and you shouldn't either :) Staff is super friendly and helpfull! Common area a tiny but cozy! Showers are just how I want them. You own area with room to place shampoo and you stuff secure and dry outside in you little cubicle. As always I struggling with a proper place to dry my towel. I hate hanging it at the bed. And difficult to do with a lower bed But overall great stay, would stay here again.

Die meisten Gäste bleiben nur für wenige Tage und nehmen auch keinerlei Rücksicht auf die Mitbewohner, unbedingt Schlafmaske und Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen. Die Küche und die common rooms sind klein, aber haben alles was man braucht. Das Bett ist standart, der Vorhang ist ein Plus. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war schon in unzähligen Hostels, für diesen Preis kann man wesentlich mehr erwarten.

The hostel is right in the middle of Galway and walking distance to all of the pubs and shops. I took part in a pub crawl which was really fun and I highly recommend. What a great time and great hostel.

Great hostel for staying in the city on a budget. I had interactions with multiple staff members and they could not have been more helpful or friendly. Made my stay so comfortable. Pub walk with other local hostels every night.

There is a parking lot for the train just about 100 meters from the entrance that has overnight parking for €6.50. the staff was amazing and the group activities are absolutely worth doing for the experience. Great location in the city with tons of options around for whatever you could want to do. My only complaint would be that staying in a Hostel a lot of us were ready to check out by 6 or 7am and there is no way to self check out so we all were waiting around for several hours which did put a damper on my early morning plans.

Had a relatively nice stay however they should mention it’s student housing during the school year so lots of students. Which is fine but wasn’t the vibe I was going for. Also the bar attached plays until about 11pm so found the area relatively noisy.

The Galway City Hostel was in a perfect location near the main shopping area and bus station but surprisingly quiet inside. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The facilities were very clean and the breakfast they provided was yummy.

Beds had individual curtains around the bunks, which my previous hostel did not. The additional privacy was welcomed. Parking options were a little bit of a walk, but manageable if you require it like I did. Would stay again.

Was met with a very warm welcome by the worker at the check in desk. Clean, comfy bed. Was room is a good size. Even though I didn't really use the common area, it was well equipped and a good size for the size of the hostel. It's location is perfect for exploring the city. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The atmosphere was fantastic. I am a solo traveler and absolutely loved my experience here. I met some amazing new friends and the staff was also incredible and easy to talk to. The living area reallt lent itself to being an easy place to meet new people.

The Galway City Hostel was in a perfect location near the main shopping area and bus station but surprisingly quiet inside. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The facilities were very clean and the breakfast they provided was yummy.

The hostel is right in the middle of Galway and walking distance to all of the pubs and shops. I took part in a pub crawl which was really fun and I highly recommend. What a great time and great hostel.

There is a parking lot for the train just about 100 meters from the entrance that has overnight parking for €6.50. the staff was amazing and the group activities are absolutely worth doing for the experience. Great location in the city with tons of options around for whatever you could want to do. My only complaint would be that staying in a Hostel a lot of us were ready to check out by 6 or 7am and there is no way to self check out so we all were waiting around for several hours which did put a damper on my early morning plans.

Was met with a very warm welcome by the worker at the check in desk. Clean, comfy bed. Was room is a good size. Even though I didn't really use the common area, it was well equipped and a good size for the size of the hostel. It's location is perfect for exploring the city. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Nice spot. Staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked for some local options. Breakfast was provided which was a nice surprise. Beds had individual curtains around the bunks, which my previous hostel did not. The additional privacy was welcomed. Parking options were a little bit of a walk, but manageable if you require it like I did. Would stay again.

The staff was very warm and friendly. Great options for things to do in the area and free breakfast and tea/coffee every morning. The kitchen smelled of delicious baked goods every afternoon I was there :)

Lets start with the positive: modern and new hostel. The common area was spacious, luminous, confortable. The handed us towels wich was a nice touch. Breakfast was lovely, they had pancakes, yogourt and fruit cups… On the other hand, no elevators, so if you have big luggages it can be a challenge. The configuration of the room when there is 12 people in it, is not practical. There is not enough space, its lacking practical Space, hooks, shelves… Also, there was only two bathroom for 12 people on this floor. There were also very very nice. There was no where to get prepared. But they did provide hair dryer, straightener if needed. Walking distance to everything
