Always prompt at airport pick up. Very short and convenient ride from airport. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast served at a big shared table which allows you to meet the other guests and share conversation if you want . Beautiful displays for Christmas and holiday. Terrace for fresh air and sunshine.

This place is so cute! There is a little terrace upstairs and it's really nice, with a bunch of comfy padded chairs to hang out on. There are couches in a communal area in the hallway upstairs.. I was picked up from the airport and driven back to the airport on time with no extra charge. I would absolutely stay here again.

Mariana's Petit is always a wonderful stay next to La Aurora. Safe, convenient, great breakfast. And a pick up by private car at 1 am? Don Fernando is the best hotelier around. Can't wait to return!

A very well-priced stay close to the airport. Not a fancy place, you feel as if you are being invited into someone's home. The man who checked us in (Francisco) was kind, helpful and strong. He carried my bag upstairs for me--even up the spiral staircase to my room. There was a nice terrace we ate dinner on. The shuttle was quick and we went at 4:30am. Francisco was a good communicator and reassured me several times that they would take us to the airport. Everyone was smiling and on time. Would stay here again.

The hotel looks more like a big home, and that's a big plus. I think 6 rooms all on the first floor (no elevator). Rooms are spacious and have all amenities you need. View from the window is depressing, but this hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, and in that respect the view was not important to us. Shuttle service is included and works perfectly with an "normal" car (not a shuttle bus). The breakfast is simple (Guatemalan style) but sufficient.

Comfortable room, lovely furnishings and very helpful manager who arranged a great ride to Antigua for us. Convenient for the airport although we had to wait quite a while for airport pickup despite sending our flight details in advance.

This was an eclectic, delightful little place to stay. It was literally five minutes to the airport in the morning. With the windows open at night, which you must, outside noises and planes flying overhead were constant, but for being close to the airport, that was fine. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, with an endless pot of coffee. I found the shuttle pick up and drop off to be professional and reliable good value to getting a shuttle and breakfast.

you can’t beat the price in the location if you’re trying to get on a flight the next day, which we were having to be there at 4:30 AM so it’s five minutes from the airport and they have someone come to get you and drop you off. It’s a very interesting place. It’s a home but also has four rooms I believe upstairs and a beautiful patio outside.! Fernando the owner is very nice man, he’s an ex pilot, and has so much memorabilia.. for me growing up in a family that lived by the airport worked at the airport and dad that worked for Boeing. It was wonderful to see all the different things he had…. Super clean place., extremely nice people in a gated community with some little convenience shops, and it was easier to get Uber eats delivered.. what highly recommend

This is a pleasant and clean hotel with warm blankets, welcoming staff and a tasty breakfast that's reasonable for the price. Definitely not a cookie cutter hotel, it's nice to occasionally stay in a family run business.

I was not given any of the rooms shown on their photos. Mine had a bizarre spiral staircase that led to what felt like an attic. They said they were doing renovations, but the room was abysmal. While there was plenty of space, it had cracked and peeling paint/wall surface.

Really loved the place. It was great for 1 night to be near the airport. Staff is great, breakfast, shuttle all good. Bedrooms on on 2nd level so will need windows open for heat to escape. Realize, 1) you are near the airport. 2) the neighborhood has barking dogs.

The proximity to the airport was great and the breakfast was nice, but communication was terrible - very slow to respond, if there was a response at all, regarding questions I had. They did not respond to email and when I called there was no answer. It took me digging to find the WhatsApp number but even that response time was lackluster at best. Room was fine for what you pay for, but the beds were very hard and the shower didn’t drain.

When we were unable to order food from a restaurant downtown, the owner of the hotel took us to the restaurant in his car.

I arrived to the area of Mariana's Petit Hotel after a 3+ hour car ride, only to find that the area is blocked by a gate and they would not allow us to enter. I couldn't understand the conversation the guard was having with my driver to understand why, but the guard essentially wanted to have me walk 20 minutes in the dark, by myself, carrying all of my bags. This went on for 45 minutes and resulted in me crying and reluctantly grabbing my things from the trunk to make the walk. I then arrive to Mariana's and I ring the bell. A smug older man comes to the door. I let him know that I have a reservation where he then informs me that they are full for the evening. Clearly there is confusion so I pull out my phone with my confirmation to show him. We now spend the next hour going back and forth on why I have a confirmation and he never received the information from Hotels.com. He is confused and says that he doesn't even know what Hotels.com is. I sat there in his lobby with nowhere else to turn. It was now after 10pm and I had a flight early the next morning. He ends up arranging for me to sleep IN HIS NEIGHBORS HOUSE. But this was only after I am in tears once again because he is suggesting I leave on foot to find someone else to sleep. I am a solo female traveler with all my bags, in a dark, unsafe city, and this man is trying to wash his hands of any responsibility. Unfathomable. Hotels.com ended up telling me that a covid case caused them to close the doors to my room.

Will pick you up from the airport at any hour of the day or night. Great communication thru whatapp. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Felt like we were at home, very welcoming. Would stay here again for sure.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel on two different occasions and received great service for both stays. The first night, the owner promptly communicated with me the day prior to our arrival and picked us up from the airport punctuality at 9:30pm. The room and the amenities were nothing fancy but decent. On the second stay, my boyfriend stayed at the hotel since we have an early flight the next morning and the hotel is extremely close to the airport. The owner arranged taxi for us for the next day and the driver promptly met us at 3:30am the next morning at the lobby to head to the airport. The hotel is also situated within a gated community so we felt very safe. Overall, I had a great experience and loved the hospitality of the owner.

We stayed for one night, after flying into the airport late at night. The ride from the airport was easy to find and quick and convenient. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Lovely shared patio. Breakfast was included, we were served coffee, juice, eggs, beans, and toast. They helped us navigate a miscommunication with our transportation company. Although conveniently close to the airport, the hotel was in a residential neighborhood, not in walking distance of shopping or dining options.

Everything was great, good hotel for a quick stay by the airport. Would stay there again.

Most convenient place to stay when flying in or out.

This is our second stay here. If you seek a budget friendly safe hotel near the Guatemala airport, this place is perfect. They offer airport shuttle service and a home style breakfast.

The property was very close to the airport which is very convenient after a long flight. Safe and gated community. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

It is in a gated community so bring ID if you leave the grounds - you'll need it to get back in. The only nearby restaurant is next door - ask if it is open and if the owner is there, he will prepare you an excellent home cooked meal before you arrive so make sure he knows your food sensitivies. otherwise, use UberEats. If this hotel was not in a gated community and tailored for servicing air travellers, it would be a lovely place to stay for an extended period. Note that the boxed breakfast you get if you have a flight before the kitchen opens is not very substantial, and you'll need to eat it before you go thru security.

Es una casa de familia y las habitaciones están arriba, son cómoda y limpia, pero no hay nada cerca para comer, hay que tomar un taxi para salir, además el desayuno es muy pobre, además los preparan temprano y cuando baje a desayunar estaba frío , solo dos huevos y dos o tres papas frías, estuvo malísimo, no volvería a ese hotel, hasta la servilleta la controlan una por persona, prefiero pagar un poco más y desayunar bien
