Friendly staff at the front desk and great location. I appreciated that it was pet friendly. Door to parking lot and pet area was never opened and when I asked the maintenance guy if he was opening it, I got snarky response. My dog discovered lots of leftover “stuff” in the room, like lighter and broken pieces of furniture under the bed. Since parking lot door wasn’t open the only convenient and open parking was for diamond club members. Only one elevator was working and it was beyond slow.

It was a good stay. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I found the people working at the hotel to be friendly and welcoming. I swam in the pool and worked out in the gym several times. Both are well maintained. The food in the hotel restaurant was also good. The only disappointment was that housekeeping came to my room one time during my 5 day stay. I did not hang a sign on my door saying I didn’t want service or not to be disturbed.

Great place! The only negative was that we were told the bar was open until 10 but the bartender would extend hours IF the bar was crowded. 30 people came back to the bar at 9:45 after a concert and she would not stay open and made us leave at 10:10. Should have been prepared knowing that there was a concert across the street.

The hotel was okay. Elements restaurant/ bar was okay but overpriced. Bar is only open till 9 on At Saturday night, disappointing. Biggest issue is the parking, there just wasn’t enough parking. Hotel charged me more than the price I booked the hotel for. For the area, the hotel was okay, but wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The front desk staff was fantastic—friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ended. The room was a mess. The shower was visibly dirty with someone else’s hair still in it, the carpet clearly hadn’t seen a vacuum in a while, and there was actual food—candy and nuts—under the bed, easily visible right near the edge. Surfaces were grimy, and the thick layer of dust wasn’t new. This wasn’t just missed—it had been neglected for a long time. The front desk deserves five stars. The room? Not even close.

The hotel was very clean and just perfect. The bar restaurant were so nice and very good. The entire staff made us feel very welcomed and the town is so friendly with good restaurants. We hope to be back in the area and stay here again!

The hotel is nice and the front desk staff is friendly and super helpful. Housekeeping could be better. We had to take our own trash out and ask for more toilet paper and towels. The only thing housekeeping did during our 5 night stay is pick up towels and drop a few off but not even the same amount each day. There were clothes from a previous guest in our dresser which makes me wonder how well the rooms are cleaned between guests.

Got there at 2:35 and our room was not cleaned yet. So we went and did some errands. When we returned at 3:45, found out the room was just serviced. When we checked into the room, there were empty gum wrappers (foil) all around the sitting chair. Had to hand pick them up. Only two towels and washcloths in the bathroom for two persons. We had to go down to get more towels and washcloths before we showered. Just not your typical “Hilton” experience.

My first room had 2 dirty bedframes/platforms, mold around the tub/shower, mold under the soap dish, and the cabinet where the refrigerator sat had what looked like leakage from the refrigerator. My second room had food that was thrown up on the wall and the curtains - same issue with mold in the bathroom, the tub must have been clogged as it took 10 minutes to drain after my ankle-deep shower. And again...food on the bed frame/platform. There were sunflower shells and wrappers in the windowsill. For the whole time I stayed there, there was a spill in the 1 working elevator that noone cleaned up.

We had problems with Wi-Fi, unable to get connected without help from the front desk. Never able to get Wi-Fi for my IPad which was very disappointing. Very surprised that there was a $12.99 charge for breakfast! Bathroom sink drained very slow & it took quite a long time to get hot water for a shower. Employees were friendly and helpful!

Don't be fooled by the early '90s decor, this is a lovely hotel where you're greeted with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie after a long journey, making you feel instantly welcome. The personal touch at DoubleTree is truly charming. While the room feels a bit outdated and the air conditioning/heating makes some odd noises that might keep you up at night, overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Did not like the King Suite facing east. 6th floor was nice, but, overlooked a postal distribution center versus city center (and hotel parking lot). Room was okay, TV channel menu was flawed, nice towels, and pillows are good.

We stay here ever year before Memorial day weekend . We like the proximity of restaurants to walk to and the staff is always friendly. One thing i think could change would be the breakfast buffet. It is very small with not many food choices.

Kind of a cool midwest moderne look on the outside. Good rooms, nice staff, a decent two-day stay for our daughter's graduation. Quality buffet breakfast, even though you gotta pay. Recommend.

Brittney was fantastic, kind, and so helpful! She knew where to send us for a great dinner that had gluten free options and it was great! The restaurant at the hotel was supposed to have GF options, so we decided to try it for breakfast. I don't know how GF their dinners can be considering the morning staff did not instill confidence in me that they knew much about gluten issues.
