This beautiful resort is our oasis when we are in Cape May for vacation. The staff makes the stay extra special! The beach and pool amenities are top notch. The restaurant in house Pier House is absolutely delicious accompanied by a wonderful staff Hector, Leyda, Elio, Diana Totti and Silviou the bartender. Thank you for another amazing stay.

Lovely hotel with pool, restaurant and beach access. Our room was a spacious premium king bed suite with a kitchenette and sleeper sofa area with table and chairs. We enjoyed sunrise yoga and coffee on the roomy balcony with side view of ocean. There’s free parking to keep your car in place while you walk to the beach and other hotels and restaurants along Beach Ave. This was our first trip to Cape May and Le Mer Resort and it won’t be our last!

I really did like this hotel and area. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. My only issue was the construction that was going on at the hotel. The restaurant was closed as well as the lobby. While this is a small inconvenience I would have liked to know about this before I booked a stay here.

Enjoyed our short stay at La Mer. Staff was kind and friendly. Room was terrific with great view and amenities. Beach staff very nice. Chair, umbrella and towels nice touch for the beach. A/C in room struggled to keep it cold, but we had a portable fan to keep the air moving. Will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at Le Mer! A quiet and clean room that had all we needed. This hotel had dining, activities, live music and beach access. It has everything in one place. We loved the beach access with badges, chairs and umbrellas. We knew we’d be in the older part of the hotel and it was fine. Parking was generous and easy. The one small issue was walking to other restaurants or shopping was too far. We rented bikes on site which was nice. We took Ubers to and from the busy shopping area. Overall, if you want a getaway from everything, this hotel offers it all.

I was surprised how La Mer team is doing great job. La Mer has option to get food on the beach from 11am-5pm. They are giving their own chairs, umbrellas, towels on the beach for their guests for your convenient. Also, on the property live music from 6pm-9pm. For guests convenience they have in rent so many amenities like: bikes, beach cars, golf cars... La Mer has good restaurant. Rooms are good and clean, has all amenities which need to stay there.

The hotel was really nice; we had a lovely view of the ocean (only a two minute walk from the hotel), and because you’re a guest at the hotel, the staff working on the beach sets up complimentary chairs and an umbrella for you. You’re given towel cards and exchange them each beach visit for clean towels. The restaurant staff comes to the beach and takes food and drink orders for you from a menu they provide. It’s really quite nice. They do the same at the hotel pool, too. We enjoyed that - as well as having drinks on the sofas of the terrace at the restaurant. And we did have one meal at the restaurant (breakfast - it was so good), and popped in for a happy hour before going out to dinner at a restaurant along the shore. We loved staying here We enjoyed our six night stay except for two of the nights A really rowdy wedding party was next door to our room - INCREDIBLY loud and disruptive. I had to call the front desk at 1:00am bc the guests were on their balcony yelling, laughing… drunk stupid behavior. The second night was more of the same but this night they were in the hallways, pounding on the doors of other guests, laughing, yelling… ANNOYING. We had to deal with two nights of this and it was impossible to sleep - even with ear plugs. I was hoping the staff would have been more firm about that - maybe informing this group that there are no parties after 11:00pm(?), or offering us something in return bc we were being wildly inconvenienced during our stay.

The facility is very clean. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Having food and beverage service at the pool and beach is a plus. It is located a mile or so from most hotels, close enough to walk but much more quiet.

Fantastic stay! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was impeccably clean. We even got to see a wedding while there.

Clean and serene resort with pleasant, helpful staff. Rooms and grounds were clean. Loved the outdoor pool and pool service, accessible beach chairs and umbrellas and wind down music in courtyard in the evening. Would highly recommend and looking forward to booking another weekend!

Horrible room with dirty carpet and antiquated kitchenette. Bathroom very old and has bad odor. It’s a crime to pay these prices for what is essentially a low budget motel. Room was listed as I renovated but that was being kind.

The staff was warm and welcoming. The facilities were very clean and up to date with easy to follow directions on how to naviagate the space.

Saw some mosquitoes and bugs in the room which could have bitten my 2 month old daughter if we werent careful

The blue wing is the area that has not been updated so it is run down. Not worth the cost. Other parts may be better but not clear we were in the older section.

STUNNING property. They're planning on finishing their upgrades and even with an older wing stay it was a truly beautiful stay. Only con was the wifi was not ideal. It was spotty and sometimes outright not working. Other than that grounds, staff, restaurant were TOP TIER

Didn't like the Bed Bug bites I got staying there. Hope I didn't bring any home. The hotel was sparsely filled yet they chose to give the worst room to us with a balcony view of a WALL!

Direct view of ocean. Slept with sliding door open and could hear the ocean. Room was spacious, clean and contemporary.

Internet performance from room 450 was very weak. Personnel were consistently great throughout the site.

The room was very nice with the kitchenette, extra TV, and sitting area. The overhead showerhead was a surprise. Loved the ocean view. It was a snowy night and we were able to park in the covered parking area.

Be very careful of the room selected. Our room had a balcony which was enclosed on 3 starts and no daylight. You had to bend over and look through the balcony of two rooms away to get sunlight and partially see the ocean. Very expensive for such a poor view.

We liked the access to the beach. We didn't like the old room for the high price we had to pay. The bed was very uncomfortable and there were no USB outlets in the room to charge your phone. The bathroom was the worst looks like it wasn't updated for many many years and those conditions made us cut our vacation short. Lost a lot of money but couldn't stay another night there.

I stayed here with my 3 teenage children and the accommodations were wonderful. Beautiful ocean view off the private balcony. The room was perfectly outfitted for our needs with a fridge, stove-top, and microwave. Everything was clean and modern. The staff were very hospitable and helpful. Highly recommend!

I wish the service by the pool and beach was better. It was very slow. Some of the staff were not engaging and it seemed like you were bothering them when you asked them a question. The restaurant opened at 8am And there was no coffee other than a Kureg in your room. The location was good and the rooms were clean.

Nothings about the amenities was explained when we checked in. After we walk through the property and explore on our own, did we go back and another clerk at the front desk by the name of Karen was so very helpful and helping us

Other than the initial location of the room, this hotel was fabulous. We had requested a quiet room and they initially gave us a room opposite the elevator. They were willing to give us a different room, but there was a small up charge, Which we paid. The location is good, but it is not right near the Washington St., Mall in Cape May. It is right across the street from the beach and it’s location is quiet.

Had family members split across the renovated and non-renovated towers, and the newly renovated rooms are definitely top notch. The facility all in all is very nice, and on the quieter north side Cape May, but there are a few service areas that need work. 1. While food and bev service is offered on the beach, only one individual is taking orders AND running food, leading to long times to order and receive your items. There will be four people putting up umbrellas and chairs: midday i would shift two of those folks to be food runners to help expo food and bev service. 2. Despite having a room service and decline room service sign, at 2pm one of the days our room was still not cleaned even though it was across the hall from housekeeping office on our floor.

I paid for a room with two queen beds. The one bed was unacceptable to sleep in due to the poor/old condition of the bed./mattress. Went to front desk to report the condition. We were told maintenance would be up to replace with a new mattress. However, maintenance never came and the mattress was never replaced. Spoke with front desk on the third day when we were leaving asking for compensation, and was told they could issue a breakfast food voucher, but we were about to get on the road to head home. The issue was never rectified. Despite the issue, front desk was very professional.

We enjoyed everything about the property and staff!

This was my second time staying at this place, and unfortunately, both times I had the same disappointing experience. The customer service was very poor, and the front desk staff were not helpful at all. It felt like they had no interest in assisting guests or resolving any concerns. Clearly, nothing has improved since my last visit. I won’t be returning

We had the best time here short, quick trip of us, college Besties celebrating a birthday! The property was immaculate. Our room was so clean the beach staff were so kind and friendly and helpful setting up our chairs and umbrella. We especially loved Allie at the front desk who was really helpful helping us coordinate our stay.! Thank you you have a wonderful staff. You should be proud.

Donna who checked us in was so nice and welcoming. The hotel was away from the hustle & bustle providing peace & privacy. It's located right across the beach and it may be a longer walk to the historic district than other hotels, but it's an easy & safe walk. The renovated portion of the hotel is beautiful. Can't wait to see it again when the rest is done.

beautiful room, we stayed in the renovated area, very clean pool area…very nice beach area, beach chairs old though! our only complaints were the restaurant La Pier - Food was average at best and service at the Pool was non existent— annoying when you’d see staff standing around with 2-3 people manning the towel stations

I love La Mer Beachfront Resort. It’s right across the street from the beach and they bring your lounge chair and umbrella to you. The restaurant is great and it’s in walking distance to other places and shopping.

Stayed 1-night (October 12). Enjoyable, spacious stay. Loved having coffee on the balcony looking out at the ocean. Had a great dinner at the restaurant.

The hotel itself was beautiful. Our room was very clean and the housekeeping was very good. The beach and hotel pool staff was excellent. The staff at the restaurant was terrible. They were rude and slow. How much you paid to stay at this hotel, you’d think you’d get top service at their restaurant. We had reservations for dinner, but after our terrible breakfast experience we canceled. The hostess was the rudest and most condescending person we experienced on our entire trip in Cape May.

This property was fantastic. The staff, the room, the Pier House Bar were all terrific.

Loved everything about this hotel. The location is perfect, the restaurant is delicious and all of our servers were great! The room was a nice size and our peek-a-boo view of the ocean was perfect. The beach was clean, wide and beautiful. Can't wait to go back again!

Girls vacation. Hotel was in a great location It was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Disappointed no coffee in lobby was not available had single cup keurig in room which was awful. Hair dryer did not work. We called and asked for another it was never sent to us. Disappointed that during our time restaurant was not open yet. Who knew. All in all hotel good and we had a good time

La Mer was amazing! The room was large and well furnished. Area was quiet and beautiful. Dinner at the restaurant was ok, but pricey.
