The hotel and service was good but the second day the pool was very dirty and the whole common area of the hotel always smells like wet dog! Disgusting!!

Our stay was fantastic. They staff was excellent and super friendly. Very helpful. The only negative thing I can say about the entire stay is that the indoor poor was extremely dirty. Hairballs, cloudy water. It was disappointing considering the rest of the hotel was so nice and clean.

Chose this place because we were up there antiquing and it had a pool, thought it would be nice at the end of the day. The pool was as filled with no less than 20 screaming kids and teens with their parents sitting around. Nah. The room number on our room was missing, there was a wet paint sign taped to our sink. Just wasn’t that nice

Like: Pet Friendly and Pet fee was reasonable for length of stay. Remarkable: The staff are professional, friendly and knowledgeable of their hotel and the area. Bkfast was always fully provided; neat and clean dining, lounging and recreational and business areas; comfortable and choice of foods and beverage very satisfactory. Overall the hotel location, Dahlgren, pride of work and management are highly evident. Felt the ease of other residents due to the level of satisfaction with their stay. I will list those employees that I interacted for notice of professionalism with a personal concern: Beverly; Lex (Mgr); Chris, Angel (angela?) and Sapphire. Appreciate you all and the place. My dog, Pumpkin and I, felt comfortable and welcomed.

Our room was great. We loved the walk in shower. On Saturday, breakfast was available from 6:30 to 10:00. The food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was laid out in one of the most intuitive and convenient I have encountered in all my many hotel breakfasts. The lady in charge had each table cleaned immediately after each use. It was hard to figure out how to watch TV, but it was late when we arrived so we just turned it off and went to sleep.

I didnt like that the air conditioner didnt work, the bed was uncomfortable and squeaky. I was in a handicap room and the shower was slippery and i almost fell several times. The water from the shower got all over the floor. Almost fell again. Had to put towels on the floor.Very dissatisfied. The manager said that 3rd party booked the room.

Room was for hearing impaired. The bathroom appeared to back up to the air handlers for the hotel. Sounded like a hamster on a wheel all night long. My husband was convinced the closest bed was vibrating as well as floor and had to move to the other bed. Not good combo for non hearing impaired couple.

Clean room for family over night stay. Kids were comfortable on the pull out sofa (anyone older than 25 would wake up feeling like they'd been hit by a truck though). King bed was comfy for grown ups. Not too busy so we had the pool to ourselves the whole night.

Checked in and found that we didn't get an accessible room. The room we were given didn't work with my disabled wife. The staff was fabulous in getting us a room that would work for us. They were very attentive throughout the stay. Breakfast could use some work. Most days it was lukewarm and probably not heated up correctly. Hot food should be kept above 140° for safety and i would say it was usually around 100

Location is great. On the VA shore after the Potomac River bridge. I also liked the close proximity to Tesla Superchargers. Although not at the hotel itself they were a short distance away. Condition of hotel was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Also pet friendly which is a must for us and our pup.

The Hampton Inn at Dahlgren, Virginia was clean, comfortable and quiet. It is easily accessed from the main road with a stop light. Myriahi from the front desk was great and made sure we had everything we needed for a good stay.

The hotel is a little older but the staff do an excellent job of cleaning and caulking around the tubs, as much as possible. The breakfast is a nice breakfast that changes slightly daily and all the staff are friendly and courteous.
