The bathroom was beat. Tub didn't drain very well. The property was a little run down. The rest of the room was good.

**Extremely disappointing — nowhere near an 8\.4 rating\.** I spend close to 100 nights a year travelling for work and stay in a wide range of accommodations\. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect basic cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service\. Unfortunately, the Executive Inn Mountainside in Whistler fell far below those standards\.The room was in poor condition: the toilet was unsecured to the floor, pantry shelves were broken, the table was heavily worn, and the shower curtain was coming away from the wall\. The cleanliness was even worse\. There was dried human mucus on the coffee table, and I found silverfish crawling across the bathroom floor\.I brought these concerns to guest services and asked for another room, but was told there was nothing they could do\. During my four\-night stay, I requested daily housekeeping but my room was cleaned only once\. Staff showed very little concern about my complaints\.Both the elevator and pool were also out of service during my stay, adding to the overall poor experience and raising concerns about the property’s maintenance and safety\.I honestly cannot understand the 8\.4 rating\. Based on my experience, I would rate this hotel **2 out of 10**\.For someone who travels this much for work, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve experienced\. **I would not recommend this property and will not stay here again\.**
