I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On some levels it met my expectations and other times it was a disappointment. Strict welcome - room not ready at 1.30pm. Fair enough as check in is not till 3pm. Even though a couple before me got their room. Luck of the draw. Sign a waiver that they are not responsible for luggage you leave with them. Didn't make me feel terribly confident. Check in at 3pm and room is ready. But it wasn't really as housekeeping had left previous guests' shampoo & body wash bottles in the shower & an odd slipper under a chair. I couldn't be bothered to get them to come up again as after a long international connecting flight, I just wanted a bed to sleep. Room was fine. Minimalist design that is looking a bit tired now with wear and tear. The bed was very comfortable though and that's the main thing. Breakfast - Good with choices. Coffee machine did not work the whole time, so they had to help make. Ran out of croissants and told that would be 30-40 minutes for more. Some options not available, but some were and were good. And it was included in the rate so always appreciated, Service was ok. Put me off trying out for dinner though as I just didn't have the confidence that would be great. It's a good central location in the old town right on the river with a side street. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Roof top deck with a very small plunge pool. Wonderful stylish hotel and restaurant located right on the pedestrian promenade by the river. I had a room open to the side street and it was quiet enough with the windows open. I also relaxed by the rooftop infinity pool in the setting sun. Would have stayed a 2nd night but it was fully booked.

Well located near the river and key tourist spots and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was good. The staff were really helpful and attentive. The recommended parking is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

Pool was nice when it was very hot. Room was nice and good size (we paid s bit more to get better room). Hallways dark and tight. Breakfast ok but service slow. Location is good.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of old town with a multitude of shops, sights and dining options within steps. Bit of a walk with luggage from where the car drop off is however the benefit is that the area is essentially a pedestrian only zone which is wonderful when out and about both day and night.

Boutique hotel in the centre of Ljubjlana. The location was great as was the food at breakfast, and the service in the restaurant, and they did a nice breakfast dessert for my partner's birthday. However, I was a bit disappointed with the rooms and the standard. It feels that it is in need of an update, the towels were past their best and the bath mat had threads hanging off it. The curtain was hanging off in the room, and there was no fridge in the cupboard in our room. It was clean, but felt tired. The shower made a noise when using the main shower head which could have done with replacing, the smaller one was fine. Bathrobes in the room didn't have a cord to tie it closed. The upstairs pool is great albeit small (which was expected) but there were two towels there when we got up there, one of which was damp. The one sun lounger has seen better days. It was therefore disappointing from what we expected, but overall clean and not too expensive. With a little tlc, it could be lovely.

Great location but not directly accessible by taxi ( 4/5 min walk required) but once there the location is fantastic. Staff are great and the breakfast is fine i would certainly recommend this hotel.

Globalement, mon séjour s’est bien passé. J’ai même prolongé deux fois pour au final y rester 3 nuits au lieu d’une. J’ai beaucoup aimé l’emplacement hyper central dans la vieille ville et bien sûr le rooftop avec la piscine et la vue splendide sur le château. Quelques détails ont fait que mon séjour n’était pas parfait: Il y avait plein de tâches sur la moquette de la chambre, l’eau s’écoulait mal dans le lavabo et ça sentait mauvais, le minibar fait énormément de bruit, la climatisation ne fonctionne pas très bien, il n’y a pas de linge pour les mains dans la salle de bains, le ménage quotidien constitue en juste refaire le lit, le rebord de la baignoire est assez haut et c’était difficile de sortir sans risquer de se faire mal. Un grand merci à Alen de la réception pour son aide et ses conseils. En résumé, cet hôtel est confortable et bien situé à Ljubljana, mais plusieurs détails font que ce n’est pas la meilleure expérience possible.

It is a lovely little hotel in the old part of the city. Next to the river. The young man who checked us in (and out) was really helpful and lovely! Our room was number 33. It’s a good size and very nicely decorated. The bedding and bathroom were super clean which is great. Comfortable bed and pillows. There were a lot of cobwebs in the room (which I didn’t like!) the tv only had two channels that were working and the kettle didn’t turn itself off but apart from that, it was great! Breakfast was very good. A choice of hot food alongside breads and pastries. The waitresses weren’t great with allergens (allergic to cheese). We ordered one ham omelette and one ham and cheese omelette and I got the one with cheese (she said it was without cheese). I always double check so didn’t eat it until I’d inspected both! I would definitely stay here again-all the negatives I’ve mentioned were really minor so would recommend this place.

I have been traveling a lot and I always look for 4 stars hotels. This is clearly a 3 star hotel for the price of 4 star hotel. Good: it has a great location in the old town. Bad: it was dirty, the bathroom was filled with rust grout and the floor very sticky, towels were rotten, carpet was dirty. Second, the personnel were not very friendly nor helpful. Third, breakfast was small but with gluten free options and helpful staff.

Breakfast range was good. Staff friendly. Hotel in fantastic location and is clean and very modern. Could have had more vegan/veggie options on their a la carte menu though which prevented us from eating there in the evening.

I feel obliged to give this hotel a good review even though I checked out early, simply because the staff here is truly outstanding. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the air conditioning during a heatwave, and the room was unbearably hot. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout, and allowed me to check out early with a partial refund. I would not hesitate to come back here during the spring or fall when air conditioning would not be an issue.

Perfect location for our visit to Ljubljana. Canal view through our window. Lively activity outside the window, but when you shut the window you could not hear the street activity. Great bed and terrific shower. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We would book again.

The hotel is down a small side street off the main walkway along the river. There are lots of dining options in the immediate vicinity, and the Vander Urbani has a restaurant where we ate breakfast each morning. Great location for exploring the city - everywhere is walkable from the hotel. Hotel has a lovely modern and friendly boutique feel. Staff all very accommodating. Great breakfast included with lots of options and large portions. Only thing visitors may want to consider is our bathroom had a transparent glass wall and door which may not be suitable for all people sharing a room! Not sure if all rooms have this feature.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On some levels it met my expectations and other times it was a disappointment. Strict welcome - room not ready at 1.30pm. Fair enough as check in is not till 3pm. Even though a couple before me got their room. Luck of the draw. Sign a waiver that they are not responsible for luggage you leave with them. Didn't make me feel terribly confident. Check in at 3pm and room is ready. But it wasn't really as housekeeping had left previous guests' shampoo & body wash bottles in the shower & an odd slipper under a chair. I couldn't be bothered to get them to come up again as after a long international connecting flight, I just wanted a bed to sleep. Room was fine. Minimalist design that is looking a bit tired now with wear and tear. The bed was very comfortable though and that's the main thing. Breakfast - Good with choices. Coffee machine did not work the whole time, so they had to help make. Ran out of croissants and told that would be 30-40 minutes for more. Some options not available, but some were and were good. And it was included in the rate so always appreciated, Service was ok. Put me off trying out for dinner though as I just didn't have the confidence that would be great. It's a good central location in the old town right on the river with a side street. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Roof top deck with a very small plunge pool. It is in the desirable area where good restaurants in back streets are in proximity. The room was good and spacious, and generally very quiet though in the middle of the city. There was a loud music going after 2 am nearby, surprising that is legal. The bar staff are a little oblivious to pay attention as it was not clear how breakfast was to be ordered. Great location.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of old town with a multitude of shops, sights and dining options within steps. Bit of a walk with luggage from where the car drop off is however the benefit is that the area is essentially a pedestrian only zone which is wonderful when out and about both day and night.

Ljubljana was a real treat! This place is THE definition of a cafe culture. So many awesome dining and grind options within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel restaurant is even a Michelin star in 2021… great food and great place!

Fantastic choice of dishes to choose from. The hotel doesn’t do buffet style breakfast, but if you book your room with breakfast you get a choice of two dishes from the menu plus an assortment of pastries - fantastic food and very generous portions! The hotel staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel!
