Staying at this hotel was great! We had a king suite with a balcony off of our room that had a view of the street. All the staff was more than happy to accommodate us for being on our honeymoon! Not to mention, walking around on the boardwalk was the highlight of the trip because everything was right there! We also loved the 21 and Up Aqua pool! It was so nice to have a kid free zone to relax in the pool or jacuzzi. I would recommend this place over and over again if I could.

Great location and beach view from the ocean front suites. Suite was large and kitchen was decently equipped. Good water pressure in shower, although the bathroom was just average size. Indoor and outdoor pools/spas were great. Staff at front desk was oftentimes unhelpful with simple requests. Took three requests to get the kitchen faucet fixed, and no one knew whether the hotel had recycling for plastics, etc. In any event, we would probably stay there again.

I came to Hilton Vacation Club Oceanaire in Virginia Beach with college friends reunion. We haven't hung out together since we graduated over 20 years ago. Great spacious rooms with a full kitchen; although we only used the fridge. So many eateries within walking distance. They even had multiple pools, and a separate area for the over 21.My only tiny complaint was the bathroom showers weren't as hot or had enough pressure. But I still gave it 5 stars because staying here was the best decision.

Great stay – clean, peaceful, and family-friendly Overall, our stay at Hilton Vacation Club Oceanaire Virginia Beach was very nice. The property is clean, well-maintained, and great for families—quiet and not too noisy compared to the busier parts of the strip. It’s on the newer side of the boardwalk, so it’s about a mile walk one way to the main area with most of the clubs and restaurants. The only downside was that kids (even teenagers) aren’t allowed in the hot tub since it’s 21 and over, which was a bit disappointing for my teens who wanted to enjoy it. Other than that, it’s a great spot if you want a relaxing stay away from the crowds.

We drove 11 hours and had emailed the property upon leaving our house that we would like to have early check in (something that’s never been a problem previously). Upon arrival we were told that our room was not ready and didn’t end up getting checked in until 4pm. The parking is a block away but thankfully the property gives you a pass to park free in the garage. The property is beautiful, although it does not state that the pool on site is 21 , which was disappointing for my child. However, there is a pool next door to use. There was issues with one of the elevators so it took ages to get to/from floors. The staff was amazing though!

Checked in and went to bed. Next morning when we started making the bed we noted old blood stains. As we pulled the sheets back and mattress protector we noted even move dried old blood. We reported it to management and was not satisfied with the outcome! We would not recommend this hotel due to lack of cleanliness. The housekeeper made the bed with the waste on the sheets. This is an infectious issue that could have make someone ill.

The location and oceanfront view was amazing. The hotel needs some upgrades, there was cockroach, bugs found in our room. The elevators were slow and one didn’t work one day we stayed at the hotel. Other than that, great location.

Our stay was nice. I loved the view and the inside pool for 21 and over. Its just a few things I didn't like. The room service was slow you had to call more then 3x to get towels. The toilet seat needed to be changed. On our floor the carpet smelled old and like smoke. That had to be the smoking floor when it was ok to smoke in the hotel. I went to another floor it didn't smell the same. We stayed on the 6th floor. I went up to the 10th floor it smelled good. I would definitely stay again but not on the 6th floor.

This is by far hands down the best hotel and the room I had was by far the best room on the beach. Ok I haven’t seen all the rooms in all the hotels on the beach but I’ve been blessed to stay in 4-5 different hotels and this hotel and room was amazing. The size of the room the amenities in the room. The quiet and cleanliness of the hotel. The friendliness of the staff. The proximity to Pocahontas (excellent breakfast spot). Ample free parking that was just around the corner from the hotel. LOVED IT ALL. Loved it so much that I already have 2 more trips on the booked/reserved. I don’t think I’ll stay at another hotel if I can help it. This is my spot when I visit VA Beach.

Bathroom was visibly dirty. Grunge ring in the toilet and what appeared to be dirty wet shoe prints in the tub. Didn’t want to take a shower because was grossed out. Sand all over bathroom as well. One working elevator made leaving a nightmare as we had a child in a stroller and every elevator that came down was completely packed. Took about 20 minutes and an uncomfortable squeeze to make it down while my husband took our luggage down the stairs.

The property was lovely, conveniently located and staff friendly enough. However, Housekeeping is by request. We checked in on a Tuesday and checked out Saturday. It took 2 phone calls and 2 visits to the front desk to get the room tidied up ONCE during a 5 day stay. We were told they would have the room tidied up on Thursday. No show. Friday we were informed we would be added to the list. No show. Housekeeping showed up on Saturday - the day before we left after a 5 night stay. This is particularly inconvenient because no housekeeping means no clean towels which we then had to request twice in addition to requesting housekeeping. We stayed off season and if all rooms are not cleaned daily, I'm not sure why one housekeeping request for a 5 night stay was so hard to accommodate.

Sending $800 for a night with hair in the bed and in the tube is unacceptable, called down to the front desk and sorry but we do not have a house keeper available..but we can bring you a spare set of bed sheets is sad..And i stay at the house numerous of time in the pass months..

We got the 1 br queen suite. The suite was huge, it had all the necessities of home! The rooms are very sound proof we couldn’t hear anyone above us or around us. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very aesthetic. Parking wasn’t bad the garage is about a half block away.

The 1 bedroom suite was one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in. However, a small annoyance was the lack of any USB charging ports anywhere in the room. I didn't bring a block and couldn't plug my phone in anywhere to charge. You'd think every modern hotel room would have at least a couple by now.

My room was a lot smaller than I anticipated... like REALLY small. There was a disturbing noise throughout the night where the toilet would arbitrarily run for a few seconds every so often. Also, my room wasn't ready when we arrived (around 6:30pm), which you do not want to hear after a long day of travel. With that being said, the staff were extremely move, which was a major plus.

Worst stay I’ve ever had at a Hilton property. The room was perfect but not an ocean view at all even though that is how it was advertised. The hotel is 17 stories with one broken elevator and the other partially working so any transit from the room to the lobby would take a minimum of 20 minutes. The staff didn’t seem to be in the mood to explain or even have the patience for the lobby that was full of people just standing in line waiting for the elevator. I won’t be back.

When I booked the hotel, it said that we had on-site restaurants. When I arrived I learned that there was NO restaurants in my building. I also did not have any coffee options internally. I was still asked to pay $125 for a resort fee, for what? We didn\'t have any amenities open. Then when I asked about parking, I was told it would include my parking but not my guest\'s parking. She had to pay an additional $69 for parking. When I tried to upgrade I was met with anger and frustration from your staff. I was trying to give you more money and they basically told me I was wasting their time. The people at the front desk are not nice. When I asked basic questions, such as: where can I get coffee close to here? I was met with rolled eyes and they said, "everywhere, ugh." I am so disappointed in your service. I travel constantly and plan to return to VA Beach in two months. However, I will not be staying with you or any of our partner hotels.

Check in was over 3 hours late after driving 10 hours with kiddos. They only told us after we had paid in full so we couldn’t book another hotel so we missed the plans we had drive in for (we would have chosen another Hilton - of course). The room cards stopped working every single day, multiple times a day while we’re there - so we would be unable to get anywhere without getting new cards every time. That was really frustrating. The electricity in the room must have blown a breaker, it happened the very first night we arrived but no one came to fix it even though we kindly notified them every morning that it hadn’t been resolved and they would say someone would be right up. Staff at front desk were 50/50 as far and in for very rude depending on who was there for the shifts. We used to stay in this hotel every other year rotating between Virginia Beach and the Hilton Oceanfront Suites in Ocean City but now that it’s changed companies the service is very unreliable/poor. We also always stay at Hilton’s- normally and we absolutely love our stays and rave about them. This was one of the most expensive weekends to stay (which we don’t mind) but it absolutely was our worst ever experience with this hotel or any Hilton property since traveling as a small child. :( Parking garage is always convenient. Close to live music. Beautiful property.

Overall average stay. I’ve seated in many resorts but this one was below average resort. There’s no dining, no breakfast or coffee, no spa treatments, no bar, children running around unsupervised in the pool area and children inside the “21 and older section”. Our bathtub wasn’t draining so we had to stand in our run off water, the dedicated parking garage elevator was out of service, and the television connection was spotty. Sure there’s plenty to do outside of the “resort” but resorts are suppose to have much more than this. Disappointed in this property.

The room was spacious and clean. Bed was not the best for us (mattress too firm) but may be good for others. Easy to get to beach and pool. Nice rockers by the firepit is a comfy spot to watch the ocean. Tortugas is a nice convenience for food and drink by the pool. Location is great and near some good restaurants.

Our family really enjoyed the different pool areas and tiki bar. The beach was just steps away and very clean. We did not bring beach chairs, but the front desk offered them on first come first serve basis. The one major complaint I have is that check in was very chaotic. The elevators were very backed up, so the lobby was packed with people and luggage carts. There was nobody out front to direct the cars that were unloading, so we got blocked in between cars for almost an hour because people just left to check in. Our room was also not ready until 5:45pm, when check in is at 4. When we got to our room there was piles of garbage outside of our door. Thankfully the rest of our experience made up for the stressful check in day. I would stay here again.

Arrival was good. Room had an interesting smell that we not going anywhere. The toilet ran and instead of calling for help everytime, I would fix the plug to stop it. Lighting in the room was not great in the closet and bathroom areas. Highlights: size of the room. Great location. Amenities such as the hot tub and pool. Love it is 21+, the outside fire pit. Wish a bar was open by the pool in the evening hours.

It may be my fault but didn’t know the hotel didn’t offer breakfast. Did not have a lunch area at all. We ended walking every morning to local places for breakfast. The indoor pool needs some cleanup including the bathroom. The outside pool none of the play areas actually work. In terms of location was perfect if you travel with kids. There are 2 playgrounds just in front of the property. Conveniente to walk with a lot of dining options.The parking is also just around the corner. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Extremely disappointing check-in experience — not the level of service I expected from Hilton. My husband and I stayed here for Labor Day weekend and paid approximately $450 per night for an oceanfront room. At that price, we expected a smooth check-in and a level of service consistent with what Hilton represents. The advertised check-in time was 4:00 PM. However, when we arrived, our room was not ready. We were told it was still being cleaned. We ended up waiting well over 2 hours past the scheduled check-in time, with no meaningful explanation and, more importantly, no proactive solution from the hotel. What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of ownership afterward. I asked the hotel what could be done to compensate us for the significant inconvenience and lost time. There was no meaningful compensation offered. The only gesture from them was extending our checkout from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A two-hour late checkout does not feel like appropriate compensation when the hotel has already taken away a significant portion of the stay we paid for. The issue was not simply that the room was delayed; it was how poorly the hotel handled the delay afterward. For a Hilton property, I expected much better communication, accountability, and customer service. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a very negative impression and significantly affected our plans.

The Oceanaire is one of my favorite resorts to stay at. We have been coming to this resort every year for over 6 years and our experience had always been great. The parking is good. The resort is clean, staff are professional, kind and willing to assist in in any manner. The check in was speedy and the studio room we selected up to our standards (neat & very clean).
