The property was in a good area to what we wanted and close to transport and walking distance to the shops. The staff were all nice and friendly, the room needed a bit of work, but it was spacious. Parking the car was good just outside our room on most nights. The price could have been a bit better for what we got.

Convenient location to Dickson and tram to epic or city. The buildings are very tired and in need of updating especially bathrooms. Minimal facilities in room. Fridge and microwave jug available but no cutlery or crockery. Clean but hard bed, aircon and electric blankets available. Minimal staff

There was no toaster in the room. Nor was there any crockery and the only cutlery was 2 teaspoons! There were 2 cups and 2 glasses, but that was it. We had bought food with us to eat in the room but were forced to eat out...even for breakfast! Just as well my husband bought his own bowl/spoon so he could have his cereal. A very poor show, indeed. Also, there was no remote control supplied to the room for the air conditioner. I had to get down on the floor to read the controls to work the damn thing. There was a constant noise in the bathroom like someone had left a tap running in another room (or a running toilet) but was not heard from the bedroom so that was ok, I guess. The crappy shower curtain did nothing to improve our stay, either, as the glass door had obviously been broken and a quick, shoddy repair was needed. Knowing all this, I don't think we will stay there again. Not much money had been spent and it was in serious need of a modern upgrade. Cheap operators out to make a quick buck don't impress me at all. Overall, I give this hotel 2 stars out of 5.

Property very old and very basic. Shower, water was hot but broken tiles and dirty grout. Really cold room, inadequate 4 fin oil heater did nothing, I wore two pairs of socks on my feet plus another pair on my hands plus my dressing gown in bed to keep warm.

Old , Dirty Mould in Bathroom has not been upgraded since built in the 1970's No Tissues , no cultery , not even a Teaspoon . A disgrace for the ACT Capital . hopefully no overseas tourist from stay there, would not leave a great impression for Australia It's for ITINERANT workers not a Motel.

We booked a room for 3 people for 4 nights. There were only towels for 2 on arrival and toilet seat was detaching - my husband fixed. Dirty cups were not washed after the first day and bed was not made after first day. Not enough milk provided for tea for three. Air conditioner was extremely noisy and we had to turn off at night as it was too noisy to sleep. We turned fridge off as it was also too noisy.

Room was not cleaned, carpets never vacuumed under beds in a long time, in wall heating blew up in middle of night. For the money charged the owner should consider starting to upgrade the facilities. Rather disappointing

We were staying in Canberra for one night, was very happy to get a very reasonably priced room with 2 double beds, quite dated but very large room which was fantatstic, comfy beds too. Good sized TV but no Netflix capabilities.

When I decided to stay, they claimed there was free internet. Suddenly, you only get 600MB, and then suddenly, there is no internet at all. It is very slow, and even your phone doesn’t work. This is a scam—they call it free internet! ‏ and also the sink in the bathroom is constantly leaking, and you also have to ask for plates bowls, iron and toaster. Don’t recommend long stays

Pretty central area, easy access to anything you need. Very quiet only heard the occasional tap turn on or a emergency services siren. Was visting for a family birthday. Was able to come and go as i pleased. The room its self, yes, was dated but very clean. Bathroom is well due to be upgraded but everything worked and the shower heat and pressure was the bomb after a long day. The cleaner on sunday was awesome. Made sure i was all stocked for coffee and tea. Then when my little girl was sick i was able to get easy help from the after hours doctors and the dashers were able to bring me everything i need to help her be comfortable. Find us with ease. I apologised to the staff in the office for any issues we had cause. Nothing was a bother. Was a excellent stay all things given.

I was very impressed with the accommodation and staff especially for the very affordable price. Beds were comfortable, room was large and well appointed. Large fridge was a bonus. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and the shower was hot and very welcoming after a long drive. Would definitely book again

Great location within walking distance of Dickson restaurants and tram stop, which is only a few stops to Braddon, which also has lots of restaurants. Perfect location for us! An older motel but in very nice condition.

This is an older style motel with good basic facilities. The room rate is good if you need to stay in Canberra for a number of nights. Also, it is in walking distance to the light rail stop into the city Centre.
