Equipe educada atenciosa, mas a ducha do quarto nao nos atendeu, muito fraca, pouca agua, sem nenhuma pressao. Cafe da manha bom, nao havia sucos, yogurte e queijos. Piscina faltando manutenção, azulejos faltando ou quebrados.

This is a comfortable and easy going place to stay. The staff are friendly, good breakfast is included, the housekeeping is thorough. The room was comfortable and we appreciated the enormous bed. It is a very short walk from the beach. Nice little pool and oasis around it.

It wasn't that we didn't like this place, i's just it didn't have much to it. The pool is very small and would be busy with more than 2 people in it. The service and the breakfast itself were the lowest rated out of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Costa Rica. There is nothing wrong with this hotel at all. The cleaning service was fantastic. The location is good, but you do have to walk along a busy roadside for a few meters to get down into the town for the beach or restaurants. The rooms were comfy and the air con worked very well. We did enjoy the wildlife, there were Iguanas everywhere (big ones!) and we spotted a monkey one evening. Would also recommend the souvenir shop opposite the hotel.

We loved our stay at Conchal Hotel. Very relaxing, comfortable room and great pool. Walkable to the beach and some restaurants. We were travelling with 2 small children.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is charming and well taken care of. We would definitely return here to stay again. The restaurant had live music some nights, delicious food and drinks and service that was personable and kind. What a window into the beautiful Costa Rican culture. We highly recommend.

Conchal Hotel was a great last stop for our Costa Rican vacation. The staff was super kind and helpful regarding where to go for the beach or other attractions. (We recommend walking to the beach in front of the Westin!) The grounds are beautiful with the pool in the center which was great to come back to after a day at the beach. Our only disappointment with our room. With concrete floors and little to no other furniture besides the bed, it was much more bare bones than the online photos show. An additional chair and table would have been nice for more seating and storage. The restaurant on the property had a delicious breakfast spread and was convenient for other meals. Everyone must have the guacamole and homemade chips! Just a heads up, it was quite expensive. Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed our time here.

Food portions were small for what we paid for. Both for the continental breakfast as well as paid meals for dinner/lunch. Pool was poorly kept and overhyped in photos. Still, service was itself good and always kind. Perfectly fine, probably wouldn’t stay again though.

This was the perfect hotel! The room was clean and cute! The pool area and restaurant were well maintained and lush with plants. The food was fantastic, and we even had vegan options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The best part for us though were the visits from the howler monkeys and iguanas every day!

Very nice staff! The food is really good with beautiful presentation! The room has a small fridge and a safe which was really convenient. Pillows too flat. The room was not super clean. What was annoying: very loud traffic caused by motorcycles. Walking distance to beaches! Otherwise really nice place stay!!

The staff are unbelievably lovely, the breakfast was delicious, and the room did the job! It was a clean as you can get while also surrounded by jungle. Super close to the beach, sodas, and a grocery store.

Hôtel très agréable et personnel souriant et aux petits soins. Joli cadre grâce à la végétation et une piscine très agréable. Petit bémol sur l'état de propreté de la salle de bains qui pourrait être amélioré, le mobilier est vieillissant et la climatisation de la chambre très bruyante. Il faut marcher le long d'une route très fréquentée et sans trottoir pour les piétons pour se rendre sur les plages.

Everyone here was very kind and accommodating. Rooms were routinely cleaned and the property was well maintained. Sylvia and Donald provided great service, the food was delicious and affordable, and the local wildlife was such a treat to be able to experience!

There was no hot water in the shower or sink for the entire stay. Hotel staff attempted to fix the problem with no success. When I booked our trip the hotel was supposed to have breakfast included and on check in we were informed that breakfast would not be included. I have screenshots showing breakfast included as well as paperwork at the hotel showing that breakfast is included. No breakfast! The room did not have adequate places for luggage. The room could have been cleaner. The concrete floors had sand and dirt on them. The door did not seal. You could see daylight under the door. I really can’t understand how this property was rated a 9.2 by Expedia???

This property fulfilled my two most important criteria-very comfortable bed and good climate control and air conditioning. It is located on a busy strip of roadway, but walking distance to the beach, so if you don't need a fancy setting, the price is right for a solid place to stay, and the staff are wonderful and accomodating-did not try the food at the restaurant (only there one nght)

You can only say so much if the price is right. The highlight of this stay is the location; Brasilito is the most walkable and generally well equipped of all of the surrounding areas for the price. It has several great restaurants, ice cream places, all for a good price. The staff here are friendly and helpful, the hotel is quite serene with its foliage and animals, and we even got to see monkies once. Some of the hotel, like our room, was slightly run down with a light that flickered, etc. There isn't much sound isolation so your neighbors might wake you up, but the beds were comfy. We found the included breakfast unfortunately subpar compared to other restaurants. The restaurant's dinner prices were also very steep as is the case in general at a hotel. The staff were very dedicated and why I had a hard time writing this review because they were so nice. Next time we will consider somewhere else, maybe on the beach.

Sumado a esto, los paradisiacos paisajes de Playa Brasilito y Playa Conchal, lo hacen un lugar el cual sabes que debes volver a visitar. 100% recomendable.

We normally stay at big chain hotels but decided on a small cozy one this time around, and I am so glad we did. The property is so nice and has such vibrant colors. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The breakfast is included and is so delicious. You get a few options and it is made to order. Watch the birds when you’re eating. They are super quick. If you’re staying in this area, I highly recommend you stay here.

Everyone here was very friendly. We didn't need an all-inclusive, or five star resorts, nor did we want one. We wanted a place that was clean, comfortable enough, and close enough to various activities, where we could sleep, put our stuff, and have a home base. We got that and much much more. We arrived and the friendly staff immediately showed us to our roomes and served a welcome beverage. We were hungry because we'd been on the go all day, and the restaurant staff made us a pizza even though the kitchen was starting to shut down. Every morning for breakfast, and every evening for dinner our servers were delightful and the food was delicious. The room was very comfortable and the hotel atmosphere was charming. It was also very easy to get to the beach. If our travels take us back to Guanacaste in the future, we will certainly visit Conchal Hotel again. Muchas gracias por todos!
Everyone here was very friendly. We didn't need an all-inclusive, or five star resorts, nor did we want one. We wanted a place that was clean, comfortable enough, and close enough to various activities, where we could sleep, put our stuff, and have a home base. We got that and much much more. We arrived and the friendly staff immediately showed us to our roomes and served a welcome beverage. Inside of Conchal hotel made you feel like you were not next to a busy street with its beautiful plants and trees cascaded all over. All the staff were extremely pleasant and nice. We were particularly pleased with the front desk agent Jennifer and our morning server Donald. We forgot the name of our first server but he was very friendly and Welcoming as well. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway in the jungle surrounded by animals and beautiful plants. We will definitely be back!!!

I stayed at Conchal on my first & last day in Costa Rica. The staff at Conchal are exceptional! They go above & beyond to ensure you're comfortable & well taken care of. They were also very flexible with check in times. The shuttle service to and from the airport was seamless & communication from the hotel was great. The Costa Rican breakfast included was so delicious & the drinks made by the fabulous bartender Mr. X were amazing! Jennifer at Reception is phenomenal. She arranged a catamaran & snorkel tour for me with lunch and transportation to & from the hotel included. The rooms are cozy, A/C was perfect & pool is nice. The greetings from the moneys & Iguanas around the property were unforgettable. 100% would stay here again.

Hotel is close to the beach, many great restauraunts nearby including soda brasilito and shogun. Hotel restauraunt was amazing and even better was the staff. Everyone was very friendly especially Don who served us every morning for breakfast. We definitely will be back!

Great Hotel on Brasilito. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Brasilito Beach and 15-20 minutes to Playa Conchal which is only accessible by walking. Even though it's right on the main road our room was quiet (we do sleep with white noise though). Our , the restaurant and pool were all clean. The staff were all great, friendly and efficient. The included breakfast was great with 3 different options plus self serve cereals, toast, juice and really good coffee. They have Happy Hour from 2-6pm. A couple of the staff tried to help me get ahold of our Car Rental company and went over and above to help. Parking can be full but they have access to extra spots next door and a security guard on all night, (we never felt unsafe though). This is a great value hotel.

Por fuera, está ubicado a la orilla de la carretera y hay una parte en la que no hay acera para acercarse a playa brasilito ( no muy bonita) y a playa conchal ( merece la pena). Por dentro el alojamiento tiene mucho encanto. El personal es super amable, la habitación es cómoda, el baño no está mal y el desayuno es muy completo. You can only say so much if the price is right. The highlight of this stay is the location; Brasilito is the most walkable and generally well equipped of all of the surrounding areas for the price. It has several great restaurants, ice cream places, all for a good price. The staff here are friendly and helpful, the hotel is quite serene with its foliage and animals, and we even got to see monkies once. Some of the hotel, like our room, was slightly run down with a light that flickered, etc. There isn't much sound isolation so your neighbors might wake you up, but the beds were comfy. We found the included breakfast unfortunately subpar compared to other restaurants. The restaurant's dinner prices were also very steep as is the case in general at a hotel. The staff were very dedicated and why I had a hard time writing this review because they were so nice. Next time we will consider somewhere else, maybe on the beach.

Hôtel très agréable et personnel souriant et aux petits soins. Joli cadre grâce à la végétation et une piscine très agréable. Petit bémol sur l'état de propreté de la salle de bains qui pourrait être amélioré, le mobilier est vieillissant et la climatisation de la chambre très bruyante. Il faut marcher le long d'une route très fréquentée et sans trottoir pour les piétons pour se rendre sur les plages.

Conchal Hotel was a great last stop for our Costa Rican vacation. The staff was super kind and helpful regarding where to go for the beach or other attractions. (We recommend walking to the beach in front of the Westin!) The grounds are beautiful with the pool in the center which was great to come back to after a day at the beach. Our only disappointment with our room. With concrete floors and little to no other furniture besides the bed, it was much more bare bones than the online photos show. An additional chair and table would have been nice for more seating and storage. The restaurant on the property had a delicious breakfast spread and was convenient for other meals. Everyone must have the guacamole and homemade chips! Just a heads up, it was quite expensive. Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed our time here.

Schöne Unterkunft mit gutem Frühstück und schönem Pool mit Liegen. Sauberes Zimmer. Bad könnte kleinere Renovierungen vertragen. PKW Stellplätze an der Straße vorhanden. Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen, allerdings entlang einer stark befahrenen Straße.

A lovely surprise, colorful, local, traditional, and inviting this property is something else than any other offers in Brasilito. The personal makes even a bigger and more pleasant surprise. Birds and iguanas seem to like the property too. The proximity to Playa Conchal adds to the overall value (15-20 minutes’ walk). It offers an amazing breakfast and the local restaurant has good food at an acceptable price. All in all, if you do not want to pay the big bucks and get it all, this is the place.

É um hotel mediano, com instalações antigas que já exigem reforma. Mas a cama era confortável e o quarto estava limpo. O ar condicionado não estava funcionando pois apenas ventilava. Café da manhã medíocre coko é comum nos hotéis da Costa Rica.

The staff, especially Donald and Jennifer go the extra mile and are very helpful and engaging. Delicious full breakfast included and the fruit juice and refreshing water drinks made by Donald are so appreciated. The food later in the day from Papaya dining room is excellent, however expensive. Noise from the dining room during dinner (closed on Wed) is fine and settles mid evening but street noise from vehicles and air brakes is constant throughout the day and evening. The street the hotel is on is also the main route to Playa Flamingo, where there is lots of construction going on. This is something we didn’t read about in the guide books. Walking on the road down to the beach and over the bridge takes about 10 minutes, for safety sake walk on the left side and watch the traffic. They will usually slow down or stop while pedestrians walk over the bridge. The town of Brasilito is small and fairly authentic with Sodas and some coffee places. The beach is pleasant and the swimming good. We found it impossible to get a bus despite waiting where it was supposed to come for an hour and half in the sweltering sun. We finally agreed to go with a private car for hire driven by a Tico for 2,000 colones to Flamingo and the same to return. The Conchal Hotel is a beautiful, safe sanctuary….there’s a guard there all night. The greenery and decorations, iguanas and birds that live on the grounds are enchanting. Great air conditioning in the room and comfortable beds.

Food portions were small for what we paid for. Both for the continental breakfast as well as paid meals for dinner/lunch. Pool was poorly kept and overhyped in photos. Still, service was itself good and always kind. Perfectly fine, probably wouldn’t stay again though.

It is the third time I have stayed in that hotel and it’s a very comfortable very nice and really cozy. Small hotel that I genuinely enjoy staying at. I will definitely return in another opportunities as I really enjoy the zone in this hotel is a great alternative to stay there without being overly expensive.

Air conditioning is really good, pool is good. Food at restaurant was good as well. Older property but they do their best to keep it clean and they have 24-7 security, and you have other eating options down the street but some location are closed on Sunday. It’s a very local town.
