A lovely hotel but I was extremely disappointed with the unusual bathroom set up. Not really an en-suite as the walls do not meet the ceiling so the toilet is in the same room as the bed. No privacy whatsoever. We asked to move rooms but the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing the staff could do for us. I would not have booked this room if I’d known about the bathroom. However lots of positives. The staff were great. The breakfasts delicious. Pretty garden. Cool area.

Beautiful boutique hotel/cafe with chic rooms. We stayed in the garden suite which was detached from the rest of the hotel. Very quiet and nice. Only qualms were that the receptionists were also running a cafe which led to them being overwhelmed and occasionally difficult to obtain service from. The garden suite was also a little musty due to poor ventilation. The food was delicious.

la chambre était magnifique , une petite maison au fond du jardin. par contre sur un séjour de 3 jours : la serrure butait à chaque fois , compliqué d'ouvrir et fermé la chambre, le sol devenait glissant a cause de la buée après chaque douche( problème d'humidité et d'aération) les meubles sont mal agencé , on doit les déplacer pour ouvrir n'importe quelle armoire... Le resto est certes très joli mais beaucoup trop gras. nos plats étaient un bain d'huile. Concernant le personnel heureusement que nous étions autonomes car service très long, on a demandé le check out a une fille qui nous a dit qu'elle était occupée. La chambre avait une cheminée qui n'était pas en état de marche. Bel hotel mais seulement pour dormir pas vraiment l'endroit ou vous restez la journée à buller

Hot water and room thermostats worked perfectly The staff is amazing; very friendly and accommodating. They know you by name and greet you when you come in and say goodbye when you leave. The breakfasts are delicious, and you can prepay for breakfast or pay when you come. The location is close enough to the historic center about a 15 minute walk and fast enough away to be very quiet. I highly recommend.

Este hotel no es cinco estrellas. No tiene ascensor para los pisos superiores y tiene una sola habitación en el primer piso. En esta única habitación que es más cara no tuvimos agua caliente. La que llega apenas es tibia. El desayuno nada especial y muy caro. El estacionamiento a una cuadra y de pago. No lo recome.

Simply the best hotel I've ever stayed at - beautiful bedroom with lots of character, tasteful decor that complements the townhouse's original features, the most comfortable bed and pillows I've ever slept on, vert clean, the food was excellent and healthy (we decided to eat breakfast there everyday it was so good and so much to choose from - they also do afternoon tea and sunday roasts), perfect location on the outskirts of the city centre so quieter on the surrounding streets but a 10 minute walk from the town centre with bustling bars and restaurants, and the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. If I ever visit Porto again I'll certainly come back here!

Wonderful building and rooms. So refreshing to have a room without a TV !! Breakfast was superb. We stayed in thr top floor which was lovely but the creaky floors do need some attention - other than that highly recommended

Room was beautiful but we had to wait for it even though we were asked to fill out a form prior with our arrival time and it was after normal check in. Not a big deal. Then the gentleman who led us up 3 flights of stairs to our room, didn’t offer to help me carry my bags after previously saying he would take our bags to our room. I heard the other staff tell him about our room in Portuguese before he took us up but he didn’t repeat any of it to us in English. Restaurant and food were fantastic and even though some little service touches were missing, I would still recommend. Great location and extremely comfy bed.

This property was well above what we expected. From check in to departure, the staff were friendly and helpful. The dining was absolutely top notch quality, but very unpretentious as well. It was the perfect place to land after a red-eye flight. We were able to drop off our bags, have a lovely brunch and relax before going sight seeing for a few hours. Couldn’t have planned it better!

This is not a 5* property. It has no amenities except breakfast. The lighting in the room is abysmal. You cannot read or put on makeup. My reservation included breakfast, but the hotel charged me anyway and would not refund the charge. I ended up having to dispute it through my credit card company. The breakfast was good, and the staff made some nice dinner recommendations.
