Peaceful Winter Retreat Oregon Coastline Beach!

Great location overlooking the beach, which has both wide sand stretches and rock formations. But be aware, the gate to stairs down to beach has combination lock on it, so be sure to know it. There is a lot of road noise early in the morning since condo is located just off road. Can't imagine sleeping 6 here. There are two queen beds and two mini futons in upstairs bedroom that might serve for children, but not adults. Kitchen needs to be restocked with a few more items. Pretty sparse on cutlery and basic dishwear. As others have mentioned, there is no Internet in the area, so print off what you need to check in. Good wifi once you actually get in unit. Small deck had BBQ which we didn't use. It only had one canvas chair to sit in, which was in terrible shape, so no one wanted to take a chance. Two deck chairs would have been appreciated. There is a row of cabins in front of unit which seem to be long term rentals. Overall this unit is on the small side, but clean and looks at water (partially obscured by cabins in front)

1. Take a screen shot of your entrance code for the door, as you will probably have no connectivity when you arrive. Four phones, 3 carriers, and no one could pull it up; we had to drive to Yachats to get what we needed. 2. Interesting property. Suspecting that most of the units are long-term rentals. Frequent dog barking. The unit you are probably in has long-term rentals obscuring part of the view. 3. Unit needs some maintenance, specifically for both doors. And a re-inventory of kitchen items. (Only four forks?!) 4. Enjoyed the relatively easy beach access, although people with mobility issues will struggle with that last step. 5. Nice, quiet. 6. NOTICE THAT ADDITIONAL FEE BEFORE YOU CONFIRM. It was right there, and I totally missed it. I essentially paid for a whole other night and I have no idea what that extra money got me -- as this is definitely NOT a resort. Looks like the property is held by a company in Florida.
