Ibis Hong Kong Central & Sheung Wan

I paid for the sea view room but the view was obstructed by a number of other buildings. Some higher floors or other side may be better but not the one I was allocated. In the morning, lifts are always full.

Hotel was fine, you get what you pay for. Location was great we walked to most places or took a short uber ride. The rooms are small not an issue, the bed felt like I was laying on a piece of plywood. Shower and bathroom extremly small. The elevators were confusing, not all of them go from ground to top floor. Had to switch halfway down if you got the wrong one. The gym was small, only one guest at a time so limited times to workout.

The lobby is on the 5th floor. There are signs showing to take the elevator to the lobby. You have to use the room card to gain assess to the other floors. Filtered water fountain and weight scale for your luggage are available at the lobby. Transportation wise, the old tram runs outside the hotel. It is a great way to travel if time permits. MTR entrance is within 10 minutes. Airport bus stop is close by. Taking the airport bus would be the easiest way to get to the hotel. There are lots of shops around but majority of them are selling Chinese dry goods for cooking. It does have a 7/11 store nearby. It is not a tourist area. The streets around the hotel are clean. You will have a glimpse of local daily life.

If they can make lift better working some time the key card is no working good

전반적으로 좋았으나 엘리베이터의 Room층 카드 삽입시 접촉이 불량해 가야 할 Floor 지정에 고충이 있었음. 샤워실 배수가 잘 안 되어 바닥에 물이 고이는 것도 시정 필요함

Location is okay. Reception on floor 5 a bit nessy with lift access. Its an IBIS so you know what to expect

The gentleman who checked me in was great! He made me feel I am seeing a friend… so did the lady who cleaned my room… The room looks tired… same problem with the safe even though they fixed it right away… The elevator is hot & miss… some elevator bank only go to 5th floor … from there one need to switch to another elevator⋯⋯The welcome drink is a joke… they even do away with cheap red/ white and cocktail.

The room was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely need to upgrade the gym facilities.

Though the room was small, it was bright, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good quality and had a lot of selections. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back.

Not well maintained. Molds on the shower head and between tiles of the showering area. The room was humid and the air-con was not helping.

Das Hotel ist ziemlich heruntergekommen in den Jahren. Schimmel im Duschbereich und auch so nicht sehr sauber. Der Teppich auf den Etagen zu den Zimmern, sind auch sehr dreckig. Die Lage ist ist sehr gut, man kann die Stadt sehr gut erkunden. Frühstück war okay. Das Hotel hat den Namen Ibis nicht verdient, wir waren in sehr vielen Ibis Hotels und dieses war mit Abstand das abgenutzteste was wir je hatten. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht nochmal buchen.

Room not clean under the beds and corners. Mugs and spoons obviously just wiped, as I could see the grease marks. Staff super helpful and friendly. You can get hot/cold water and use a microwave. Room size is relatively bigger than average, no carpets. But for the price, it should offer more. Not even teethbrush is offered, just soap, with the excuse of being "eco-friendly". If so, then it should reflect on a more competitive price. Awesome location, 7-eleven and food court right around the corner, just a short walk to metro and ferry stations. But I would choose another hotel next time with more amenities since the price was not better.

The first room we were given had a strong smoking smell. We were given another room which was better but with some sewage smell still. The bathroom was not clean, and the shower floor had the drainage positioned higher so the water couldn't go well. The bedding was not very clean either. Overall it was not a pleasant stay.

The hotel needs an upgrade and some better cleaners. Room was dirty and dusty. Bathroom paint is falling off walls in several places. There was mold on shower doors and wasn't the cleanest place to stay.

Das Hotelzimmer war gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und die Lage sehr gut. Wir durften auch unser Gepäck an Abreisetag im Hotel lassen. Die Betten sind etwas härter, bei Bedarf bekommt man eine weicheren Topper. Wir waren zufrieden

Great service, good breakfast, good location but average rooms. The bed is super hard, ask for the topper when you check in. I also found it can be noisy, depending on your neighbours.

Room is clean but dated. The beds are not as comfortable as it should be. Needed to be replaced. Great location. Very convenient to transportation and shopping.

I don't even know what to say about this place. Extremely disappointed would be a start. The only redeeming factor would be the location which is walkable to the ferry terminal, buses, and a bunch of things nearby. Wifi was intermittent (maybe since my room was more on the very end, perhaps), to the point in which I gave up after day 1. The shower was tighter than a phone booth and the drainage needed to be way faster since water shouldn't be pooling like that. The window with a harbor view would've been okay if it was actually cleaned more often. Many guests were struggling to get the access cards working in the lift. Woke up to what seemed like some bedbug bites as well (luckily only 3-4) so be cautious. The TV had only mainland Chinese based channels, and only a handful of them. Cracking floor laminate and discolored walls show that this establishment is long overdue a renovation.

Clean, quiet and decent price. Very small room. Shower has nice pressure and hot water but is a cruise ship shower size. Staff very nice.

Very helpful staff allowed me an early checkin which was so helpful after an all night flight. Clean, comfortable and a great view of the bay!

The room is tidy and clean. The staffs are very polite & nice, and the location is good for shopping & sight seeing. During the stay, there was strong typhoon and everywhere was closed. The staffs provided special arrangement to me so that I didn't need to worry about the dinner & drinks. It made me feel safe to stay in the hotel.

The check in was excellent . CLEMENT ON RECEPTION WAS EXTREMLY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE. Wish more reception staff had his very helpful attitude.

The room was clean but only had one pillow option which was massive. The staff dod the bare minimum to help, but were never rude. Breakfast was pretty poor - packed away too early, children were allowed to mess about with the utensils, the toaster didnt work, asian options were unpleasant (mostly deepfried?). The lifts were terrible, far too few for the number of guests and we wasted lots of time waiting for an empty one

Decent enough hotel in a good location, close to train station and tram stop. Helpfully arranged a taxi to get us to West Kowloon station when we checked out. Everything clean and in good condition.

This hotel was nice. The staff was helpful and I was allowed early check in and late check out. The location is quite good. Wifi quick. Room clean. There is a fridge and kettle.

Nice hotel with very helpful staff. Check in was easy. Bar staff very good. Breakfast is ok but not great. I had a room with a harbour view which was very nice. It's in a good location a few stops away from Central. I got to Wan Chai and to/from Kowloon Station and to/from Airport very easily. The best MTR station is Sai Ying on the Island Line. Take exit A2 and turn right and it's about 5 minutes walk. A few bars and restaurants nearby and the harbour's edge, for a pleasant walk, is 2 minutes away. I would stay again.

Front desk personnel were very accommodating. Always helped with every request.

36 F American solo traveler first time in Hong Kong for 5 days. I loved it! To start, I was planning on having them hold my luggage from 6am to check in time , but they accommodated my early arrival without an extra free which was kind and certainly not required. It was really great to immediately check in. Cleanliness - don’t expect pristine but it’s also not trashy or dirty. It’s budget but good budget. The housekeeper was also very kind and lovey every day I say her. Location - about 7 min walk to the train station, no hills. And there is an ATM, 7/11(to reload your octopus card with cash), and a coffee shop /laundromat (super helpful and cute) literally across the street. It’s perfect. I only packed a carry on and had no issue doing laundry. Also on a cool, but sad street if you care about animals because there are a lot of shark fins. But a historic road for the region. Breakfast starts at 630am (not 4am like their sign says. And the Starbucks isn’t open very early by American standards, but there are a few options, including a McDonald’s a few mins away. I was pleasantly surprised to see someone greeting us at the main entry/ground level every day. Made me feel a little safer that no randos will walk in without being noticed. Lastly the bed is laughably hard lol but I know rock hard beds are common in some countries and honestly, it didn’t keep me up. Would definitely stay again.

Not my first stay and I always recommend this hotel to people. Excellent service and friendly staff, from reception to housekeeping. Good size room with all amenities. Great location. Easy to find taxi, restaurants and convenience stores. On my arrival day, I went to the hotel in the morning, wanting to drop off luggage only as I know check-in time isn’t till afternoon. To my surprise, a room is available and the staff kindly arranged check-in for me at 9:30am! I am really pleased with the special arrangement and flexibility!

The hotel is situated just a 5 minute walk from the Macau Ferry Terminal. It is very close to shopping, restaurants and money exchanges as well as the Central MTR. If you like to walk, you can walk all the way to the Victoria Peak tram, just a 30 minute walk. The rooms are well sized for Hong Kong and our room had a beautiful view of the Hong Kong Harbour. The shower, however, has some spots of mold and our night light would not work even with a power adapter plugged in. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the doorman.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Hafenblick im 31. Stock und eine tolle Aussicht! Das Zimmer an sich war in Ordnung, das Bad etwas älter, aber sauber und funktional. Es gab Wasserspender an der Rezeption und wir konnten nach dem Check-Out unser Gepäck dort lagern. Direkt vor der Tür fährt die Tram. Zu Fuß bis Central knapp 15 Minuten.

飯店就ibis 的水準 不用害怕 網頁照片拍得很美 checkin後看到房間驚嚇到 缺點是離地鐵站 走路有點遠(10分鐘) 但最大優點 是 飯店走出去 左前方(半分鐘) 就有噹噹車站 超級方便 我們3天 都是利用噹噹車當交通工具移動 便宜又可以觀賞路上風景 住的是雙人海景房 早上起床打開窗簾 看到整片海景 感覺身心都被療癒了 很舒心

房間安靜不吵雜，酒店位置也不錯，樓下就有星巴克、熟食中心、7-11、六安居，過馬路就可搭叮叮車，交通很方便，走一段路就有超市，最近的西營盤地鐵站約走路10分鐘

The location is great, A11 bus to the airport is 3 mins walk, close to the ferry to Mauca or star ferry. Harbour view room is very nice. Staff is helpful.

Preiswertes Hotel in zentraler Lage, ca. 5 Minuten zur nächsten MTR station. Nichts besonderes, aber günstig.

There was very little in an English Breakfast variety. If I came again and stayed with you while visiting my sons I would not be paying for breakfast. What I did not understand is in your elevators you show a lovely breakfast but not in your restaurant. I more of less had either boiling eggs or beans on toast. The hot water in flasks was a bit hit and miss how hot your drink was. Coffee was also a bit limited.

Staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. They even have a weighing scale for tourist to weigh their luggage before heading to the airport, just in case it’s over the limit. I highly recommend this Hotel.

With this being a 3 star hotel you have expectations. The place was basic but had no issues with the room or the hotel. The staff were helpful and kept the room clean. The only issue was breakfast. Very basic options available with no pastry options.

Odalar temizdi. Çalısanlar kibardı. Sadece kahvaltı daha iyi olabilirdi. Örneğin waffle makinası vardı ama nutella benzeri çikolatalı fınık kreması olmaması garipti. Sorduk olmadığinı söylediler.
