Property is weird, all air condition and heater are linked together too all units . We stayed beginning of May and had no AC, as it’s still “cold” season . No fan , we were sweaty through out the whole stay Pool is cold , no heater. This resort is nice but I wouldn’t consider 5 stars. Nice view but not worth the marketing on their site or Expedia. Breakfast was meh. Restaurant had limited dinner menu . Not worth $500 a night, would not stay here again

No mention of walking down numerous stairs/ ramp in their website, I hit my head 3 times walking up the stairs in the tunnel, no warning signs to “watch your head” posted. TV had a mind of its own, was switched out twice and after the owner came down to see, it still didn’t work, turned on and off on its own. Bathrooms were outdated and dingy and the food selection for all menus were mediocre. Need more options. The day we left it rained and water started to come into room and the door by our pool kept on opening. This should be secured as anyone could’ve walked in and looked into our room if we had the windows opened. Great staff, great/ breathtaking views. I paid way too much for this experience.

Tolles Hotel mit sensationeller Aussicht und sehr grosszügigem Zimmer inkl. Pool. Trotzdem stimmt die Preis-Leistung nicht ganz. Wenn entsprechendes Budget vorhanden ist trotzdem empfehlenswert. Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend sowie hilfsbereit

Super happy with the property, I think it is a very cozy area to relax, spectacular views. I suggest adding several things for enjoyment such as a hammock, perhaps some chairs and tables in the main room, a heater for the pool to make it more interesting in cold weather seasons, I was with my family and we couldn't use it. The other suggestion is the logistics with breakfast, having some specific areas inside or outside for the enjoyment of it. I had only one mishap with breakfast at the restaurant requested from 8:00@8:30 and it was 8:45 and they still hadn't served it, they should improve that. In the same way other lunch and dinner options for a family of 5. But when I return, I will stay again at Ambassador Luxury

My son hurt his toe due a sharp tile in the pool,we had to take him to the hospital and end up with four stitches, that happened in our first day from the vacation witch ruined our trip to Greece. Hotel paid for his medication but they never asked after we left, how's he doing.

This place was absolutely magical. I took my wife here for our 25th anniversary and we were not disappointed. The staff was so attentive to anything and everything. The really gave you a "personalized" experience, meaning everyone we interacted with seem to know who we were and our preferences. The restaurant and drinks were great and convenient. The breakfast was solid and all you wanted to order. The room was in tip top shape down to the last detail. Clean, comfortable and cool. The infinity pool was legendary and so nice to relax in. This property is farther away from town, but that seclusion makes for a very restful time. Still convenient to a little market and town. Getting transportation was never an issue either, whether through uber or having the hotel arrange. Nothing bad to say about this other than it is a hike to your room in a steep catacomb style tunnel, so if you are older, ask for a room not so low on the hill. 10 out of 10 time/experience. Would definitely do this property again and again!

While the service in the restaurant was very good, the value was not, very over priced. Cushions on terrace were extremely dirty. Bathroom tub/shower could use updating. Nice location.

unbelievably beautiful view of the ocean and Caldera in Santorini. Very well maintained facilities and attentive staff. The only complaint is the breakfast service: a convoluted, fill out a form the night before system that resulted in a confused service, difficult for the guest and stressful for the staff. A standard order when you are seated process would serve everyone much better.

the property was nice but apart from the view the experience was terrible the staff were rude and unhelpful EXCEPT FOR PEPI WHO IS THE ONLY REASON WE DIDNT MOVE GREAT CONCIERGE. room staff terrible, operating staff terrible and dirty rooms just a fantastic view overall very average experience BUT VERY DISAAPPOINTING FOR THE PRICE

***Note - this is not on the tourist part of the island. If you are wanting a more secluded and quiet experience, this is the place for you. Everyone is lovely, room was impeccable, and all of my tour events picked me up from there without issue. The sunset views over the water were breathtaking.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms are specious and convenient and the view from the room is spectacular. The reception is probably the only part that wasn't superb, otherwise this was one of the best vacations we have had. Totally recommend it to families

Simply amazing views and beautiful property. We booked a 2 bedroom villa, it was nice but the layout didn't work for us so the manager moved us to another villa with no stairs and it was perfect. The staff was very nice and helpful. The best part was the location, it is located in the south part of the island away from the busy tourist hubs of Fira and Oia but still close to many wonderful restaurants and attractions. The included breakfast was also great with good options.

Loved this hotel. We got upgraded to a villa as it was our 26th wedding anniversary and it was just fabulous. Excellent service, wonderful helpful staff and concierge services. Well equipped rooms with stunning views of the Caldera. Would go back for sure!!!
Loved this hotel. We got upgraded to a villa as it was our 26th wedding anniversary and it was just fabulous. Excellent service, wonderful helpful staff and concierge services. Well equipped rooms with stunning views of the Caldera. Would go back for sure!!!

The view from our room was amazing. Pepi and the staff at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful. It's not a party area. It's peaceful and quiet. The breakfast at the restaurant was just OK but the dinner was excellent. The only knock was the small television in the room and the positioning of it but I guess with the most amazing view who needs a T.V.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms are specious and convenient and the view from the room is spectacular. The reception is probably the only part that wasn't superb, otherwise this was one of the best vacations we have had. Totally recommend it to families

This place was absolutely magical. I took my wife here for our 25th anniversary and we were not disappointed. The staff was so attentive to anything and everything. The really gave you a "personalized" experience, meaning everyone we interacted with seem to know who we were and our preferences. The restaurant and drinks were great and convenient. The breakfast was solid and all you wanted to order. The room was in tip top shape down to the last detail. Clean, comfortable and cool. The infinity pool was legendary and so nice to relax in. This property is farther away from town, but that seclusion makes for a very restful time. Still convenient to a little market and town. Getting transportation was never an issue either, whether through uber or having the hotel arrange. Nothing bad to say about this other than it is a hike to your room in a steep catacomb style tunnel, so if you are older, ask for a room not so low on the hill. 10 out of 10 time/experience. Would definitely do this property again and again!

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Ambassador hotel for 6 days, we came for our honeymoon. We had an amazing time, the service and staff is absolutely incredible. The property is secluded and away from Thira and Oia, which are the tourists areas. If you want to save money on transportation rent a car or an ATV. Just know there is not a lot in this area for beaches, or food options, there is a nice Cafe in Akrothiri. Their breakfast is delicious, the staff is very kind and willing to please, Pepi is the main concierge and will literally help you in every way, she is amazing. This was a great place for us to experience Santorini.

Simply amazing views and beautiful property. We booked a 2 bedroom villa, it was nice but the layout didn't work for us so the manager moved us to another villa with no stairs and it was perfect. The staff was very nice and helpful. The best part was the location, it is located in the south part of the island away from the busy tourist hubs of Fira and Oia but still close to many wonderful restaurants and attractions. The included breakfast was also great with good options.

Property is weird, all air condition and heater are linked together too all units . We stayed beginning of May and had no AC, as it’s still “cold” season . No fan , we were sweaty through out the whole stay Pool is cold , no heater. This resort is nice but I wouldn’t consider 5 stars. Nice view but not worth the marketing on their site or Expedia. Breakfast was meh. Restaurant had limited dinner menu . Not worth $500 a night, would not stay here again

unbelievably beautiful view of the ocean and Caldera in Santorini. Very well maintained facilities and attentive staff. The only complaint is the breakfast service: a convoluted, fill out a form the night before system that resulted in a confused service, difficult for the guest and stressful for the staff. A standard order when you are seated process would serve everyone much better.

Super happy with the property, I think it is a very cozy area to relax, spectacular views. I suggest adding several things for enjoyment such as a hammock, perhaps some chairs and tables in the main room, a heater for the pool to make it more interesting in cold weather seasons, I was with my family and we couldn't use it. The other suggestion is the logistics with breakfast, having some specific areas inside or outside for the enjoyment of it. I had only one mishap with breakfast at the restaurant requested from 8:00@8:30 and it was 8:45 and they still hadn't served it, they should improve that. In the same way other lunch and dinner options for a family of 5. But when I return, I will stay again at Ambassador Luxury
