Lovely pub/restaurant with small accommodation, ideal if out and about all day and to come back and have a good choice of food or carvery! Wash down with a well selected bar of drinks . Staff were ever so helpful and service was fantastic! Highly recommend a stay here as a good base to venture off to different places of cornwall.

Staff where very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Superb english fry. Room big, airy and spotlessly clean. Very quiet even though incorporated into a pub. Would definately recommend.

Restaurant was great and a well sized family room. Real value for little money! The only downside was that we could hear the restaurant from inside our room but that went on for not too long. Otherwise, a great place to stay and quite central to get to North and South coast easily.

Check in service was very flexible and the phone staff and Paul were extremely helpful and made our late arrival stress free.. The room was comfortable and clean but a bit dated & unfortunately the toilet seat was very stained and gave an initial impression that the toilet was dirty so would suggest replacing as soon as they can.. Breakfast options as suggestion for Children/teenagers could offer Pancakes .. Area is very quiet at night where the rooms are and plenty of amenities locally

Having spent years staying in National chain hotels this pub was exceptional & a breath of fresh air. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed & clean on suite rooms. Breakfast was probably the best freshly cooked that I've ever had. 5* for me. I would definitely recommend.

The room we were given was very clean and comfortable for our 2night stay at Truro. It was also very convenient with free parking and easy access to local amenities.
