This hotel is very nice but over-priced. Usually a hotel at this price point would offer a goodie bag at checkin and free continental breakfast. The hitel is quite dated. The rooms are very small but clean. Please do not book this hotel if walking up stairs is a problem. There are , i think, 4 floors and no elevators. However, the friendly staff will offer to assist with your luggage. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone extra extra fluffy as the bathroom space is tiny. What i liked best was the availability of storage for you luggage in cases o early or late checkin or out. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings, reading a book. This hotels is walking distance to everything the island offers. They offer complimentary coffee, tea, and filtered water so bring a tumbler if you plan on staying here. Did i mention that most of the staff are very friendly? I did receive a cupon for $30 off of my next stay but the prices are too expensive if not booked through Expedia. Overall, this was a decent place to stay and i would recommend except for the aforementioned issues.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. They have multiple free drink options at carts near each set of rooms. There are also very affordable options to buy/rent beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, etc) so you don't have to bring anything bulky to the island.

Stayed here with my 9year old daughter for the week and it was safe and very close to everything. We recieved free bike rental with our room and explored Oak Bluffs. I would definitely go again.

Great location in Oak Bluffs, nice hotel and friendly staff. Be prepared if you are on a lower level and there are loud people above you. The parking fee we felt was super expensive, especially when there were many open spaces still available.

Great location, sink is way too small and the toilet paper was awful. Like sandpaper. No elevator and had to walk 4 flights of steps. Last 2 flights were very steep. Everything else was great.

While the location was amazing, I felt like closet space and drawer space was lacking especially for a room with two occupants. I think vacuuming daily would be good as well, I noticed some fuzzies were still present on the carpet. Definitely deep clean the carpet it looks a little old. I loved that complimentary tea/coffee was offered. Wish breakfast could be included as well. Staff and everyone else was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was incredible, and the location is perfect. My only concern is that the room had a very bad smell. I'm not sure if it was mold, but it didn't smell good.

I really liked this hotel for its location, friendly staff, and overall ambience. However, the room wasn’t as clean as I expected (refrigerator was filthy) and I did find mold on both lampshades. With a retraining of the cleaning staff, this hotel could easily live up to its expensive daily rate.

Loved the location and small room Was adequate - with the AC off it smelled musty. It would be helpful if you had rates/routes and times of bus schedule available or posted at front desk- most staff had No idea of the services. Also the ‘we’ll trxt or call you ‘ when your room is ready and available did not happen- I had to check at 4 pm and the toom was a then ready

Great hotel. Location is central, faces the water with nice seaside views, has very nice porch to enjoy the views and is a short walk to shops and attractions. Nice amenities too with free coffee and hot choco available. Rooms are on the small side but well appointed. Unfortunately, not very good sound proofing so you can hear people talking and laughing in the other rooms. We couldn’t enjoy the nice views outside because we were assigned to a room that faced the back fence and in October it was a bit cold to stay on the porch. I hope we luck out next time.

Great hotel close to the ferries to Oak Bluffs which is fantastic if you don't bring a car. Very close to shopping and restaurants in Oak Bluffs. The only negative was how well you could hear other guests watching TV or walking around in their rooms. Perhaps bring some earplugs to deal with this.

I gave an overall rating of 4 because my room was so small, I was totally miserable. This Queen ocean view room, in the older part of the hotel is not worth the rate of over $550 per night. I regret not reserving a king room. I definitely will not make that mistake again. The property itself is an ideal place to stay.

The staff was poorly trained and unhelpful. There was nothing in the hotel literature and announcements that stated that there are no elevators in the main building necessitating walking up 4-5 flights of stairs with luggage. When told by my wife that I was am recovering from 8 month health ordeal, the staff’s response was begrudging and inadequate. The hotel room walls are paper thin and ineffectual. I was kept up for two nights due to a loud occupant next door. The staff washed its hands on this by pointing out that because we booked on Expedia, there was nothing the hotel could do. The rooms were cheap and Spartan. Scarce hotel facilities. Overall not a good experience

I had a wonderful time there while celebrating my birthday. Kareice was amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure my stay was everything and more. She checked in with me each day I came back o make sure the restaurants were good to me. She really made my itinerary by suggesting what she felt was the most to do with my time. You don’t get that level of service anywhere else. Thank you so much Kareice and the whole staff there, you are the reason I will be coming back.

Charming place. Young ladies at check-in were delightful. Our kids made special plans to have an anniversary basket delivered to our room, and that was executed in the nicest way. Also, due to my mobility issues, they relocated us to a lower floor which was appreciated.

The property itself was decent and had some good amenities. Was not a fan of children running up and down the halls stomping around at all hours of the night though, and since the hotel is in an old building you hear a lot. The staff were very friendly and the only issue I have is that I booked it through Expedia and they also charged my credit card for the full amount so I now have to chase down a refund from one of the two. It’s a great staging spot if you want to stay in the oak bluffs area. If you’re looking for something a little more tranquil I’d probably leave that town altogether.

Summercamp was the perfect spot to stay for our three day MV getaway. We visited vineyard haven edgartown oak bluffs and aquinnah while there and all were very easy to get to from summercamp. Oak bluffs is great it has a mix of higher end and affordable shopping and dining and many classic MV attractions. Highly recommend. Tracey at the front desk was above and beyond helpful friendly and made us feel right at home. Will definitively stay again!

This property’s location was absolutely perfect. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is that, after returning home, I learned my husband had arranged a birthday surprise for me that I never received—even though I waited several hours for my room to be ready upon arrival. Additionally, I requested a copy of my invoice at checkout and was told it would be emailed to me, but I still have not received it.

Summercamp is conveniently located with beaches, shopping, and restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean, well-appointed, and had that charming Cape Cod/Marha's Vineyard beach feel. I upgraded to water view room. Definitely worth it! Would stay here again.

Hotel located perfect location. Walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. Staff is really nice! Loved the free tea and coffee bar. No elevator and A/C is a window unit. Very small restroom.
