Could not be happier. The staff were professional and accommodating. Excellent yoga sessions and lovely, relaxing massage services. The grounds and pool are absolutely stunning. Nice relaxing vacation. The breakfast is top notch. Highly recommend Lumeria.

I enjoyed yoga and language classes with your staff. The room was nice with a great view. We were there in the rain so didn't get to enjoy the hammocks and outdoor spaces as much as we would have liked, but we did do the jacuzzi in the rain! Breakfast was great and ample. Didn't like the dust on the louvered doors of the bathroom.

Lumeria Maui was a wonderful way to quietly enjoy Maui away from the pre-packaged resort experience. Laying in a hammock, yoga under the trees, or finding time to read in the breezeway were simple ways to enjoy peaceful moments on our vacation. If you are looking for something off the beaten path, this is it. A short drive from Kahului and very close to the adorable town of Makawao and the coastal town of Paia provides lots of options for your day.

Lumeria it’s such an amazing experience. There is such a Zen feeling when you walk in and the grounds are beautiful. The service is friendly and you feel like you are in another world away from the real world. I would highly recommend the area and I wish I had more time to spend there so we could take some of the classes that they offer during the day… this is a place for refuge and a place to get away from it all!!

Our stay at Lumeria was so much better than expected, and our expectations weren't particularly low. We absolutely loved the diversity of outdoor spaces -- the saltwater pool and hot tub, the hammocks in the trees, the meditation huts and labyrinth, the fire pits, and the porch outside of our room. The free breakfast was delicious and varied. My husband was concerned that too many of the food offerings would be "healthy", but there was a great mix of fresh fruit, eggs, sausage / bacon, and a daily changing special. Our room (a Deluxe Room with a Garden View) was spacious and perfect for two. The high ceilings, dark wood, and amazing shower (the room didn't have a bathtub) added elegance. The air-conditioning was more than adequate for cooling the space. I participated in a few meditation / yoga classes, which were great. From some of the communication, I was concerned that attending classes (something my husband wasn't going to be into) was required, but there was no pressure at all for us to attend classes. We would definitely stay here again. While only 20 minutes from the airport, Lumeria was an incredibly peaceful getaway.

Sheets, and towels were not clean and had stains. As did all the furniture, both inside and outside of the room. Both my friend and i were itchy every time we slept in the bed and on every single piece of furniture outside the room on the property, it's COVERED in bugs or bird poop. Even the plates and cultery for food, stains and marks on all that too.

The property is awesome, breakfast is very delicious they change it a little bit every day. The place itself is very peaceful, full of nature, exactly what I needed for my trip after busy life. It was very relaxing experience. The cons is that yes the cleanliness is not the best, there was sand in some corners, towels were really old, needing an update. The saddest part was when I was checking out no one gave me a receipt and still don’t know what my card was charged for when I paid here on Expedia everything in advance. I’m contacting the property soon, but it’s very disappointing I don’t even know what exactly I was charged for.

Rooms are very basic and need a deep cleaning. We had a lizard and a dead roach in the middle of the room. Furniture,lamps, door and windows were pretty dusty. Amenities not on a 5 stars level. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the outside areas, very relaxing and quiet. We did not have the time to use the pool or join any calssss.

It was AMAZING. Thank you so much. The perfect little boutique style getaway. No elevators, no sea of people or hallways to navigate, tastefully decorated rooms with real furniture and lots of wood. Loved it!

This is a special place with an Old Hawaiaan vibe in an updates setting. The ground are gorgeous. We didn't get to stay long but it's on my list of places to returrn. Excellent breakfast and just so relaxing.
