Holiday Inn Express El Reno by IHG

Front deak clerk was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was really food with wide varieties of foods. Comfortable beds and pillows. The bathtub had rust looking stains in it. The curtains were broken and unable to close. Rust stains in the sink. The cabinet door to access the fridge was falling off the hinges. Stains on the carpet, excessive staining to the carpet on the stairs.The parking is very limited and small. If you have a trailer of any kind, good luck finding a place to park.

The trip was amazing but it was a bit scary when my niece cut her foot on broken glass in the pool

Pool nice water warm. Comfy bed clean room. Staff friendly let me check-in early.

We stayed in a suite. It was roomy and comfortable. The website says there is a hot tub but they do not have one. They do have an indoor heated pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. The vending machines and the washer/dryer did not work but that wasnt a big issie for our stay. The morning breakfast buffet was good. They paid attention to the quantity and were promt to fill dwendling items so that there was always fresh food. The cinnamon rolls were very good. Overall it was a good experience for my family.

The breakfast was sufficient (organic options would be very welcome); however, the gym and the indoor pool were our favorites. It was a fun family getaway.

The workout room is not good at all- hard for a business traveler.

I was moved to the Hampton because of a extended stay group. I asked about the pool and was told it was a nice indoor heated pool Well the heater was broke but i was not informed of that or would have canceled

The above counter sink is too high for short people. Insufficient lighting above sink. The light on the smoke detector above the bed was too bright. The no. 2 elevator was jumpy and scary. No ice available on the 4th floor. Just a sheet and comforter are not that useful. Need blanket instead of comforter.

After traveling East coast to West coast and back, we stayed in many hotels. This was the best. STAFF: Lady at late check-in was fantastic and professional. PARKING: plenty. You can use side entrance to get closer to your room. ROOM: Quality DOVE products (soap shampoo lotion etc). Nice Towels. GOOD GREEN MOUNTAIN COFFEE in a Kuerig Coffee maker!, Comfy bed with nice down pillows, Cool Desk that can be pulled to wherever you want to work, Nice desk chair. Bedside flexy reading light. HOT water. Clean. BREAKFAST: We had to leave before 6:30am when the full breakfast was out but the lady there was so nice and the coffee was READY at 5:30am with lots of Carryout options (and handy little bags). Fruit, pastry, etc ready to go. PRICE: Extremely competitive at this location. Fantastic experience. Thank you.

THE ONLY REASON I chose this hotel was a swimming pool and breakfast. The pool was closed and there was no hot foods available for breakfast. No one cleaned our room or left fresh towels after our first night. Housekeeping showed up at 9 am the day we were going to check out. I will never book a room at Holiday Inn EVER.

The beds were terribly uncomfortable! The breakfast bar was missing a lot of food! We reserved 5 rooms so of them weren't cleaned during the day.

There were cockroaches in my room

Some things are just not optional when you’re traveling….the air conditioner didn’t work, we were hot all night and that was miserable. The check in person charged us twice for incidentals. The continental breakfast was completely empty at 7:00. There was a used bar of soap left in the tub and the tub hadn’t been cleaned. 😑I expect more from Holiday Inn with the prices they charge. Unfortunately I think we will stick to the Hampton Inn hotel chains from now on.

Room was spotless and the staff were extremely courteous! You can tell everyone truly loved their job.

The front desk person was very nice and tried to be helpful, but I waited 20 minutes to be checked in (after a 14 hr drive), had to change the room (bring all my belongings up the the 4th fl and then back down since the room was wrong...and then back up again when the new room was assigned). Phone was dead (no dial tone) tv not functioning / broken and some lights not working. Front desk guy tried to help but could not fix anything. Oh well

Bed was hard, pillows were limp. It was hard to sleep.

The wall mount for the tv was broken. The grass area between building and parking lot was like walking through a mine field. People are not cleaning up after their dogs. Very nasty!

Room 217 has plumbing noise issues from above. Not the end of the world but annoying.

Amazing, comfortable beds..

The property was very clean and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We like staying at the Holiday Inn when we travel, never a bad experience with them.

I showed up after 3:30 p.m. and there wasn’t a clean room to be checked into, so we went and ate. Came back and was able to be checked in. The rest of the stay was fine until I checked by bank account the next day after checkout. I have two $20 charges (they told me I would be charged $20 for incidentals), a $91.89 charge, and two $111.89 charges. We checked out of the hotel three days ago and so far I’ve only been refunded $111.89 one time. I’ve called multiple times and still haven’t been able to speak to a manager! So I paid $146.22 on hotels.com for this room, and have been charged a total of $355.67 from Holiday Inn and reimbursed $111.89, leaving $243.78 outstanding.

Great staff and breakfast

I walked into lobby to find one person in front of me to check in. The young man Johnny behind the desk was on the phone ignoring the people in line. Nearly 10 mins later he finally hangs up and starts to help the man in front of me. It was apparently a business account and Johnny did not know how to handle this in the computer. After awhile he says to Johnny to take care of me and he would be back. Then Johnny tried to put me in a room I had not booked. I am disabled and unable to manage stairs in the event of an emergency or elevator not working. I always book a ground level due to this but he tried to put me on the second floor. He was frustrated when I told him I had booked ground level but he did change it. I had walked into lobby at 4:55 and it was 5:25 before I was handed a key card. Got a rolling luggage carrier to use and went to our room. After unloading it my sister parked it outside of the room in a spot that did not obstruct anything. Less than 5 minutes later we left to get dinner. When I opened the door the carrier had been moved directly in front of and against our door. Had my sister not grabbed ahold of me I would have fell over it. Needless to say we were upset about this. As we left for dinner she rolled it back to the front. At check out she let Johnny know how dangerous this was. He had no comment and just stares at us. The whole experience was awful. While room was fine and the breakfast was great I would not recommend this place due to poor service.

The only reason I am giving them a terrible rating is because I paid for my room through hotels.com and then they also charged me for a room after we left. I can’t get a manager to return my phone calls and they are never there no matter what time I call. Supposedly the manager is the only one who can give me a refund. Beware when giving your card to them after paying on hotels.com.

Jerry the older guy working nights let it be very clear that we were an inconvenience to him when trying to confirm our reservation and then upon arrival as well not only to us but to everyone that he had an encounter with! We have stayed at many IGH hotels and have loved them however this was not a good experience at all and to be treated the way Jerry treated us is not acceptable! He even had one of his employees crying her eyes out in front of everyone! Jerry will be the cause of the El Reno location loosing money and guest who books quite often with!

Property was easy to locate. Staff was very familiar with surrounding area. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was better than average.

Holiday Inn you always know what to expect short stay to sleep and get ready for another day of driving. Air conditioning only kept the area near fan cool

We liked the convince and location of the property. We didn't like the fact that the hotel is not dog friendly as I had been told by Expedia. Thankfully the front desk person allowed our dog into the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facility was clean and updated. The breakfast had a large variety of hot choices and quick to go choices. And the coffee was spot on. We will stsy here again.
