Tru by Hilton Chapel Hill

we got there in the late evening and had difficulty checking in ( nobody at front desk, nobody answering the phone, eventually somebody came). The shower was almost impossible to figure out how to use. When the staff was around they were helpful.

Breakfast was the only let down. Otherwise 5 stars

Beautiful room and lobby. Parking should be free. It’s a self-park lot. There should be a coffee maker in the room. $200+ per night deserves in/ room coffee pods!

solid option in the area, very basic. Easy parking, clean.

The hotel was clean and modern. It was conveniently located and a short car ride to the university. My only issue was they were apparently having slow computer issues when we checked in. Therefore, it took us about 20-30 minutes to check in. Those things happen and not sure there was much they could do about it. It was just a little frustrating and inconvenient because we were trying to get to a dinner reservation and ended up arriving late to that. I would give them another shot if was in the area again though.
