Very nice hotel... my hubby and i enjoyed working out each day.. but only one treadmill was working so other guest and i were cutting our workout short to accommodate each other... pleaae fix treadmills

I enjoyed staying at ROK Hotel. It was next to the water, so you do have a nice breeze at night. There’s a local coffee shop and some dining options across the street. However, the hotel does have a cafe, full restaurant, and poolside restaurant as options for dining. The DJ’s played good music by the pool if you want to relax at hotel in a Friday or Saturday evening. Staff were nice and accommodating and the hotel is very clean. I even worked out at the fitness center and they have great equipment to get the job done. I will stay at ROK Hotel again when I book for Kingston.

We do short stays a few times a year. Our kids love the pool, the adults love the pool side food and drinks. Staff is always wonderful.

The saltwater pool was a major disappointment—it was dirty, with visible debris like wrappers, used napkins, and insects. It didn’t feel safe or sanitary for anyone to swim in. Most of the staff we encountered were unfortunately quite arrogant and dismissive. They weren’t helpful or attentive, and many had an unnecessarily rude or mean attitude. Out of everyone we interacted with, only about three staff members were genuinely kind and professional. That lack of courtesy really impacted our experience. The food was just okay—nothing special. Definitely not something we’d go out of our way to have again. Lastly, our room had a persistent unpleasant odor. We reported it to housekeeping multiple times, but nothing was resolved during our stay.

Didn’t like idea of property been rented for private events and closing pool and bar to guests v. VERY INCONSIDERATE

Great hotel but the pool needs to be treated and clean. The water was murky and green. Could not see the bottom.

Would have benefitted from a late-night snack or room-service menu.

The only issue I encountered was the parking fee. It would be much more transparent for guests if the cost of $1500 JM per night for garage parking was clearly communicated in advance. Alternatively, it should be included in the total price at check-in. Clarity on this matter would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Location was great, parking was convenient, great restaurants in walking distance, room was clean. However room service is not available. If you wish to dine in, you have to order from their restaurant and go down and pick it up yourself.

Enjoyed our stay. Recommend the pool, bar and restaurant to be open later. Overall good experience and would return for another stay.

Lighting poor in bedroom. Shower not clean. Black toilet -seat badly scratched through poor housekeeping method. Black taps and other fittings all showing wear and tear after only 2 years? Valet parking and security extremely helpful.

The floors in the room were trashy, even after house cleaning came, the linen was dirty with stains, elevators did not work at times.

We stayed 5 days & the room was cleaned only once, very disappointing

The room was spotless and the staff was courteous. Everything was excellent from the comfort of the room to the amenities. The front office staff was amazing.

No wash cloth was placed in my room for two days I have to do without for the first and second day then on the third day I have to go get wash cloth my self No shower gel or water was put in the room for coffee

For the purpose of my trip, the location was good because it was easy to get to the airport. The cleaning of the room was inefficient, the floor specifically was extremely dirty because my white socks turned black, and the worst thing was the food, the pizza has too much cheese so it was heavy and the dough was not cooked, the chicken breast had no flavor, and very dry.and the mango sauce also has no flavor, the burger was small (the patty)and very dry. I called a taxi and had to cancel and was charged a $50 fee, this was also terrible experience because I cancelled maybe 15/20 minutes and I was told that they planned their whole day already. I would not be coming back and I certainly would not recommend this hotel.

Room was spotless and staff was great. Only thingI didn’t like I had to pay for parking which was $11 US per night.

The room was spacious, very clean. The rooms are beautifully decorated ...the art work for example. Also, the room seems very spacious.

The property and staff I must say overall was very pleasant it’s quiet and I felt safe which are two major things I look towards when booking a hotel. It’s good walking distance to shops and places to eat. However there are just some minor tweaks within the room that need to be addressed, The rooms do not carry enough lighting so it’s not the easiest when getting ready in the evening to go out and you have to do your make up, the rooms also do not carry a microwave which is an inconvenience because you have to go all the way downstairs if you have food you want to warm up. The bathroom need more hooks and handles for when it’s more than 1-2 people staying in a room it’s barely enough hooks for two people to hang their towels and wash cloths the handle on the shower door from the inside needs to be changed because it’s hard to open when your trying to get out and the mattress from the pull out couch I didn’t even use because it was so flat and hard plus you have to call to request sheets to put on it.

No Microwave , Not closing Bath room door and no refresh fan, and floor sticky

I liked everything but the first room assigned had a foul smell and had to request a room change that was dealt with immediately by the front desk.

I enjoy my stay at ROK the only issue I had was the lighting in the bathroom and the room. It’s way too dark, other than that staff was great and the location is in walking distance to shops.

They were working on hotel 12-1am after I travelled all day, I was woke up to a jack hammer chipping tile. I had a hard time sleeping! Really bad

Really nice hotel overall. Comfortable bed, great hot shower & the staff are really nice. The only downfalll is the lighting in the room. The room was very dark with only spot lights. No main big ceiling light. So it's tricky getting ready as you can't see much. Apart from that its good

My stay at the RUK wasn't the best. As a first-time guest, I was very displeased with the rooms. I was moved due to water issues and the smell of the rooms. In my third room, I was upgraded to a suite, but upon arrival, I was met once again with an unpleasant smell. I was tired! There was no other room available to change in at the time. A representative from HK came to refresh the room, and it lasted for a few days. On my second-to-last day, the smells came back. To say the least, it was not the best, especially being. HILTON.

The room was great the service was amazing from check in to check out. Give our love to Sheldon at the bar Hope this is his name tell him he did an amazing job and we hope to see him in January. Thanks to all the ROK team we love you guys

Not a bad hotel overall bit probably won't be staying there on my next trip next week, I prepaid through Expedia and was charged again at check-in, I was not in a position to argue with front desk staff it being 12 midnite and I had to be up by 5am the next morning, still waiting on hotel to refund the charges via Expedia support.

This property / hotel is a REALLY beautifully designed structure, great rooms, great dining facilities, great workout room, etc. Really beautiful. The staff \'says" all the right things but I had a few things over a 3 day stay, just minor requests, etc. Absolutely NO follow up or execution, just saying and texting all the right things. This was a great location for business in Kingston, which I had, but if you are not familiar with Kingston (and this area) it\'s not at all family friendly, especially as sundown gets close.

This place was beyond our expectations. From the moment we walked in we were greeted very professionally. Lorian went above and beyond to make sure that our staff was amazing. We had an issue with the door not opening and they upgraded us to a suite. The room was outatanding and the view wasworth a million dollars.We enjoed everything. The check out process was a breeze and very professionally. This place gave us the best customer service.

Property is well maintained, modern and clean. Staff was friendly but needs to be trained in good customer service. At the very least honor their responsibilities as a business in the hospitality industry. My daughter and grandson (6yrs) recently spent one night there as she was in-transit to another destination. Their flight got in mid morning and they got to ROK close to midday to which they were greeted by pleasant staff but was told they had to wait in the lobby until checkin at 3pm. I understand and can appreciate rooms not being available right away, however, at the very least they could have offered for them to use the amenities (the pool) especially because she had her young son with her. Not only did they not offer any other options (maybe make recommendations for tourist attractions) besides wait in the lobby, they had to wait ONE HOUR more and was met with excuses… They were in the front desks line of sight for hours, baby sleeping in the lobby and their room was not made a priority/ ready for 3pm. As a hotel carrying the “by Hilton” brand I expected better and would advise management to do better when it comes to training employees to uphold a higher standard! It’s sad that employees recognised that it was unacceptable but didn’t think to do better. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from staying but I encourage management and team to do better! It’s sad when a low standard is expected because it’s Jamaica. Dare to be different ROK

Very conveniently located I felt safe even tho it was downtown Kingston. The boat cruise I booked was easy access. Love the restaurants . Overall nice

It was just too noisy for me. I always hear something dropping in the building, not sure if it was the fitness center but always loud banging ear tin the morning. The outer perimeter of the property I find to be very unsafe. {don’t even think of wearing expensive jewelry} I had my gold chain under my shirt because I forgot to take it off and someone still tried to snatch it. I didn’t like the hotel didn’t have free parking but realized that if you pay at the parking area it’s more cheaper than paying at the hotel. The staff were friendly, excellent food and clean building. I would stay there again but would request a upper floor away from fitness center.

Excellent location

Conveniently located close to the airport and the heart of Jamaican government.

Recently renew. Probably best place in downtown area, very convenient for short stays, closer to airport than other similar options.

Location of the property. Lovely scenery and view of the sea.

Area around the property was awful, I will not stay here and I would not recommend anyone to stay in this area or at this motel. Staff was somewhat friendly. Disappointed in Hilton with this one. Only thing that was great was the air-conditioning in the room and the bed quality was good. Disappointed in the shower because it leaked water every time no matter how much you turn the shower head away from the glass door the water will still leak out the bottom. at least the TV worked.

The property was nice and clean. The only issue i had and it is out of their control, around the property is nice and clean but 5 minutes outside the area is not.

While the hotel has nice art, a good pool area, and ok rooms, it is not really well maintained and the staff are lackadaisical at best. Our suite had a perpetual leak in the bathroom, broken chairs and curtains, the outlet for the coffee maker didn't work, and the ice machine on our floor didn't work. The bar food by the pool was not great and very expensive. The food at Palate was very nice and worth the cost. Excellent service there and tasty food. The breakfast which I thought was included cost $31 per person for a lame buffet. The front desk staff often weren't there or provided slow, no great service. They don't provide concierge services and the transportation company they contract with is more expensive than its worth. There was a good view of the ocean and it was nice to be close to the national gallery but otherwise the area around the hotel was very sad and rundown.

Everything else was perfect but $38 USD per day for breakfast is steep. Great job overall though

I went to Jamaica for an exam, and I enjoyed my time there. The service from the staff was first class, and the rooms were very comfortable. I studied in rokstone bar and grill every day, and the 24 hour cafe was most convenient as well.

Meals standard has dropped since my last visit, A bid overpriced for the quality.There must be a new chef. Overall not bad accommodation and amenities

The restaurant on the property is 10/10! I like the Hotel. I would go again for sure.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were in good condition. The bathroom sink had a draining issue. There wasnt that many vegan options for dinner, I didnt personally enjoy what I got.
