Super 8 by Wyndham San Jose Airport

This place is old and is still being remodeled.

I was greeted to this property by a burned down car in the front parking lot. The room had no smoke detector, holes in the ceiling, the bathroom sink is cracked in filled with discoloured caulking, and to top it off the bathtub had the previous occupants' dirty underwear in the tub- did not seem like a safe or clean place to stay- especially at $80 a night- unacceptable- stay away

You cannot get even a bottle of water , no vending machine, nothing

Some outsiders entered the parking lot at the back of the area late at night, played car audio rock music loudly, talked loudly, and played until dawn. The property owner needs to strengthen the peripheral management of the area. I stayed for three days, and only one day I could sleep!

For what we paid, we weren’t expecting 5 star hotel status but the room was sloppy. Floor planks were peeling up and smoke detector was non existent. Property was not well maintained. Pics online show a pull, but when you get to the site, it’s basically covered w/ no access

I pulled up to a burnt down car paramedics a crime scene. I paid for a week a did not stay.

The premises were littered with trash and car parts. The hallways had old furniture that needed to be disposed and no remote control for the TV. The only way to contact any staff is in person. No phones in rooms

I wish there were some breakfast options, as well as hair wash options lol.

If you are on a budget in San Jose, this is a great option. Conveniently located, reasonable comfortable rooms in an older facility.

It was a dump, old and decaying. Garbage piled up all around the 1 garbage can. A couple was arguing violently until late hours. People having loud conversations in breeze way in front of rooms until late at night. No hot water the 1st morning, they did fix it that day. No breakfast, as advertised. Wi-Fi was in/out, spotty. It felt unsafe. Creepy guy peering over the wall from the empty lot next door, looked like he was casing cars, I moved mine to the other side.

The rooms are unsanitary. The bathtubs are filthy (black) and the rooms smell. The rooms are not cleaned properly, you can visibly see grime and filth everywhere. The towels smell - and have black spots. Some rooms don't have phones. The only good thing was we could have more than one car park for free.

This property has a huge roach infestation. The staff were lovely. But this property is in dire need of fixing up. Between the roaches, the stains in the room and the lamps, and the cigarette smell even in non smoking rooms, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

The room looked clean at first but after a minute with the lights on a roach was walking on top of the bed. We checked out immediately on went somewhere else

Everything was broken down and falling apart. The bathroom was dirty and there was roaches crawling around.

This was the dirtiest motel inside and out I had ever been in.

Wish I could give it a negative number for review. There was dog poop in the hallway. Floor in the bedroom was so sticky your shoes got stuck to the floor. Bed was disgusting and ‘Free Breakfast’ is Coffee and/or Orange Juice. Awful

Breakfast was bad coffee and those packaged lard muffins. The AC was so dirty and dripped water all over. Parking lot was filthy (chicken bones, beer cans, other items). Sketchy people all around. The door looked like it had been busted in and repaired MANY times. Tried to shower and the handle came off. Little roaches on the walls and ? Quite frankly, I am concerned that this option is offered as a Wyndham. God Awful

The room is dirty. The facility seems poorly maintained. So called breakfast is included are just poor quality coffee, juice and muffins. The condition of the room is poor. There are cockroaches in the room. The staffs did not give guests warm feeling.

That was the worst hotel I have ever seen. It was filthy. I looked at the bathtub and you could tell it had not been cleaned in months. There was cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. There was a closet with a rod and no hangers. All the room was filthy. It was so bad that the sheets and the bedding look clean, but I was afraid to get under the sheets and they’d probably be bedbugs so it was the worst

The room smelt like smoke should wash the walls and clean the floors the base boards were very dirty need to clean them.

There were a variety of cockroaches and bugs that visited both nights I was there, no sofa bed in rooms, no hot water, no wifi, inaccurate listing, smoke detector disabled, toilet ran all night. All 3 of us broke out in a rash from sheets. Loud Neighbor banging on my door, yelling " let me in" , people begging for cigarettes, breakfast was dry muffins , Complained and showed pictures and videos of cockroaches and was compensated a $20 inconvenience refund, gross.

Needed a cheap hotel by the airport, but couldn't sleep at all due to full time residents and homeless blaring music and screaming at each other. Plus the smoke was unbearable, the rooms next to me smoked so much I could see it through the vents.

This Hotel needs TLC not worth price I would like to get refund

Key to open door was not working properly. Every single time I was going to the office for them to fix the issue

Neither the rooms are good, nor clean. Once you enter the hotel area, you start feeling unsafe. Even the no-smoking rooms have the weed smell. Not recommended.

There was a blown up, burned out Lexus on the property.I heard gunshots late at night, and it sounded close, like possibly on the property. My “neighbor” was having very loud conversation from 11:00 pm until 4:00 am. I tried to call the front desk and got no answer. So I got dressed and knocked on his door. I asked him to please be more quiet, and he said “I no knock on YOUR door when you want me to pay the rent.” I almost called the police. But thankfully he lowered the volume of his voice, and I got about 2 hours sleep.

Was only in town for a short notice job interview, booked Super 8 due to it being "economical". Chief concerns were paper thin walls where I could hear everything, and I mean everything, that happened in the room next door. Wanted to yell at them to go get a motel room...but then I suddenly remembered where I was. Woke up the morning of my job interview looking forward to a nice hot shower...only to be rudely awakened by the blast of ice-cold water that hit me with upon getting in the shower. Then there was the disconnected fire/smoke alarm...good thing there was no fire that night. I'm almost positive California has some type of fire code requiring a working fire alarm in a hotel room. Bottom line, it was a roof over my head and a bed to sleep on for the night. If you're able to deal with the concerns I pointed out then this is the place for you.

no hot water, no disclosure about no hater. First collect money for all nights. When notified about no hot water, they kept one nigth and vacated next day, refunded remaining nights. Expect to get full refund because of bad property. TV Does not work. No phone in the room to contact front desk. Need to walk to front desk during midnight to notify about issues with the room. Front door does not open properly. Need to use big force as if to break the door to open it even after 'green' light shows up on the door handle. Never expected this for the name 'SUPER 8 ' .

The staff was friendly but the place was under construction and some of the other guests were not respectful to others

The shower head had a big leak that I reported in the morning. In the afternoon, we got back to ourcroom and the leak had been repaired and a new hand held shower was also installed. Great work by the maintenence staff.

I arrived at this hotel at 9 pm at night just to be told that they had cancelled my reservation which I had already paid. Apparently there was an AI convention in town and even though I had a reservation, i had no place to stay. I was stuck in the middle of the city without a place to stay. I had to pay $60 to take an Uber to a friends house. I was lucky I had a friend nearby. I think I’m done with Expedia.

there was no hot water for all the rooms in the building that I stayed I was too busy to request a refund until the 2nd day I checked out with one day refund. never going back!

The room key didn't work and the room was far from the desk. When i got a working room key, i opened the door to a filthy room with food containers everywhere. When i went to get a new room, i was passively just given a new room without any type of apology. Thwre were broken beer bottles and car parts all around in the parking lot. I was woken up at 3:45 in the morning by other guests slamming doors and yelling

Front desk said the room wouldn’t be available for 2 hours after check in time. Didn’t have anywhere to go while I waited and ended up getting another hotel so I could have a place to put my belongings before an event

Clean, friendly staff

Where do you begin? Family was furious at me for booking it. Shower didn’t work, barely any outlets, except where they sawed out part of the bed. Lousy coffee maker, scary area, expected to get robbed. hideous lighting, took 10 tries to open door. Nice pillows, decent bed. Good 5g cell. Easy to airport. Won’t be coming back.

A lot of homeless around the building at hotel. they are knocking my room door at the middle night too scary. I never come here again. I came to office in the morning to report but they said they don't have CCTV camera to check it out.

It’s an out of the way area but the building is still going on. Nothing noisy just building materials spread out

Terrible place, it’s a run down hotel with cockroaches, bugs, no hot water, smell of rotten old house, compound dirty like homeless campground. Please Expedia don’t mislead people because this place is closed to the San Jose Airport. I booked for 2 nights and honestly I checked out after the first night at 4am because I can’t stand cockroaches crawling on the bed. This is like a horror movie. It’s worth zero dollars! I asked for refund the guy said call Expedia. DONT GO THERE AND READ THE REVIEWS!!

Well, let’s begin with the property itself… Everything about this property is very rundown and disappointing from the very entry point. I am really surprised and astonished how this business stays afloat. In no way am I being judgmental or cruel, this is just the facts. When I first arrived with the girlfriend, immediately I felt unsafe with the unsavory and sketchy people that were coming and going through the property. I attempted to get a refund immediately but was unsuccessful.The first individual who checked us in,was ok,but gave poor custom service Approximately a half hour into our visit,it began to rain outside,when we noticed a large leak from tfw roof,which coincidentally came down right in the middle of our bed. I was hoping this was manageable,however, it just became worse and we had to vacate the room. When I left the room to go to the front office there was nobody available for approximately five minutes, until somebody drove up, and entered the office. This individual was extremely rude, did not apologize, drank his soda very casually and did not seem to care one bit. The alternative room had a couple of cockroaches and a the remote battery was dead. I am a very forgiving and understanding person, and I also worked several years ago in the hotel industry for approximately 10 years. However, I just have to be honest and say this experience at this property was disappointed,sad , and very unpleasant. I would never return or recommend this place to anyone…

Trash on desk with drink cups; trash around property, very unclean. Told me someone would come to clean in 5 to 10 mins. No one came even after 9 am in the morning. Cocroches in room. Mold in tub. No hot water. Only break fast is small muffins and orange juice.

The room we were give had no hot water. The staff was very good about getting us to another room where everything worked. However, we saw at least 6 roaches in the room. Breakast was coffee, small muffins and 1 kind of juice. Location was good and staff was great.

Broken lavatory bowl, cockroach and pathway tiles are dislocated and are a safety hazard for pitential tripping. Breakfast location and choice is mediocre. Location is so far away from rooms.
