We had a great time at this hotel. Not only is the location very convenient for shopping and food options, we found the hotel to be less hectic than others in the Makati area or BGC for that matter. Breakfast buffet, albeit a bit expensive but has lots of options, is well worth it. Gym is very good with free weights, cardio and weight machines. Pool is great for having a relaxing time. The one thing above all however is the staff. Amazing! So friendly and they go above and beyond. They made our week stay there like home. Highly recommend!

Good hotel. However the pool Was closed off for a private function 1 whole day. For a 5 star hotel and paying $400 a night, the pool Should be permanently available to paying guests as I have paid to use the faculties. If you want to close the pool for private functions then the room should be at a discounted rate. The Fairmount offered guests to use the holiday inn pool, guess what… if I wanted to use the holiday inn pool, I would’ve stayed at that holiday inn instead. Also, the tv didn’t work after the first night and I had to follow up for towels numerous times. Again, when paying a large sum of money per night for a 5 star hotel, you expect great service not average service.

The Fairmont Makati is in a great location. Large rooms with high ceilings. The gym was spacious with a great variety of equipment. We used the Executive Gold lounge which had very friendly and attentive staff. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will look forward to staying there again next time.

My stay here was phenomenal! Hospitality is unmatched. The staff is supper friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean and well equipped. The facilities are also great. It is located next to three different malls so makes it very easy to walk across street and grab food or to shop. 100/100 recommended this hotel.

Fairmont is a lovely hotel,staff and personnel are friendly,personable and knowledgeable. Close to restaurants and shopping centers. We stayed for 3 nights on our first week left for the islands and came back to stay for another 3 nights ,my only complaint and concern is - we were in 631 the 625 consecutively , When you come out of the elevator on the 6th floor the intense musty / moldy odor hits you . Smells sour and tried to cover it up with some fragrance that makes the whole place smell bad . The second time we came back ,our room 625 is also musty /moldy smell . Pls .fix the issue . Thank you .

In Manila 03 times per year and decided to go back to Fairmont. Hotel still great if wasn't for the musk smell in the rooms. Something about the carpets. I had a bad allergy and was not pleasant to walk to your room to that smell everyday. Got to do something with those carpets.

All the staffs are sincerely offering the best service. Loves the smell of the lobby, the hallways, & my room located on the 8th floor. I checked in earlier & also requested for late checked out at 1 pm without any issues. The only negative is some stain from the bathroom vanity and the carpet ( room # 841 ). Stayed 3 nights (8/14-17, 2024) I wished I could stay much longer. Love, love, love the beddings, the pillows & soft white towels. Shout out to their housekeeping staffs, he/she folded some of my clothes & re-arranged my electronic gadgets. BRAVO, BRAVO FAIRMONT MAKATI!

Wonderful stay, and overall impeccable property and guest service. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have experienced in a long time—highly recommended. The lounge and serves there also great. The only negative was that the room smelled musty/moldy, assuming due to the humidity.

The bathrooms do NOT HAVE ventilation. The rooms smell MUSTY and owners should check for black mold. I felt sick whenever I walked into the room because of the room’s odor. I wish I could take a picture of the smell.

Standard room is huge with 2 double beds, very convenient location as nearly everything is within walking distance. We had trouble checking in as the room had an engineering issue, but Ms. Frei in front desk provided us excellent service and made us whole by extending check out time. Would recommend and definitely come back!

What an amazing hotel! We loved the location in the modern and bustling Makati central business district. The area felt very safe and walkable with great malls and parks in the area. A stark contrast to Manila and the old town. The room was large and spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was as well with a great shower and a soaking tub. We had breakfast included and what a spread! It was delicious and plentiful, perhaps over the top. The service was impeccable and the staff were always so gracious, kind and serviable. I will stay here over and over again on future returns to Manila.

We usually stay at Fairmont whenever in Manila. The team in the Gold Lounge are usually predictive in terms of service. But this time around with a fairly new team, I'd say, service is not 'attuned' to the needs of the guest. This can be 'relative', since the manager it seems is on leave. And one of the senior staff is assigned elsewhere. Nevertheless, it is no excuse, since Fairmont's relatively warm, and attentive service were the main reason we favor it over Shangri-La. Furthermore, for some strange reason, the 'room service' food smell coming from the hallway, keeps finding its way inside the room. Hence, the room smelled like food. Could it be that the Back of the House doesn't bus out soiled dishes sooner? Maybe so. We usually stay at Fairmont whenever in Manila. The team in the Gold Lounge are usually predictive in terms of service. But this time around with a fairly new team, I'd say, service is not 'attuned' to the needs of the guest. This can be 'relative', since the manager it seems is on leave. And one of the senior staff is assigned elsewhere. Nevertheless, it is no excuse, since Fairmont's relatively warm, and attentive service were the main reason we favor it over Shangri-La. Furthermore, for some strange reason, the 'room service' food smell coming from the hallway, keeps finding its way inside the room. Hence, the room smelled like food. Could it be that the Back of the House doesn't bus out soiled dishes sooner? Maybe so. The staff and manager at The Fairmont, Manila, Ms Kathleen Yap, stand out as phenomenal. I arrived very early to Manila after an 11 hour flight and they were kind enough to offer me at 10:00 am check- in. As I had a meeting I could not accept and so they escorted me to the Spa to change and get ready. I returned in the evening but there was no hot water in the room but I was too exhausted to inform the hotel staff. I had to leave at 4:30 am and still there was no hot water. When I called the front desk at 3:20 am to report that, the front desk offered me to move to another room but I had no time. They called again to let me know that I didn’t need to move but can use another room two doors down to shower which I did. I went to check out and the manager herself with the front desk staff were waiting for me with breakfast to go. I had not selected breakfast option before. Not only she had several options ready for me, she had 4 different drinks because she wasn’t sure about my preference. She has tea, hot chocolate, coffee, juice and water. I think she went above and beyond. Though hot water can be found in almost every hotel, such consideration and attention to details and graciousness are hard to find let alone at 4:00 am by the manager. I will definitely choose this hotel again if or when I come back to Manila.

What an amazing hotel! We loved the location in the modern and bustling Makati central business district. The area felt very safe and walkable with great malls and parks in the area. A stark contrast to Manila and the old town. The room was large and spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was as well with a great shower and a soaking tub. We had breakfast included and what a spread! It was delicious and plentiful, perhaps over the top. The service was impeccable and the staff were always so gracious, kind and serviable. I will stay here over and over again on future returns to Manila.

Excellent guest services personnels. From our arrival the guy offered us bottled water, to check-in(Aaron) to luggage assistance(Dewey) everything was well coordinated and smooth. Aaron even gave us free welcome drinks at the bar and showed us all our options to make our stay even more convenient for esp for timers. You guys deserve more than 5 stars!!! We will definitely book again everytime we come and visit manila (makati area).. this is definitely one of the best fairmont hotel experience ever!

Had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Celebrated New Years at the Roof top with all the fireworks Breakfast buffet was excellent and dining staff are always very inviting. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful Mr. Frank (concierge) was very helpful in assisting us on our tours. The tour guide he recommended (Marvin) was fantastic. Our hotel transfers (Nino, Abby) were excellent. We are very grateful to the staff of the Fairmont !!!

Quiet, safe and convenient property right next to Greenbelt. Having stayed at various Fairmont properties around the world, this one unfortunately didn’t meet our expectations. Front desk staff were not friendly and our room had an issue with the emergency light and would not shut off all night which impacted our sleep. Very good dining options and Grab-friendly.

Fantastic! Clean, comfortable and full of kind staff always going the extra mile. This was our third time staying at a Fairmont. We expected the best and was given nothing less than the best. The staff worked extremely hard and we appreciated their hard work. The pool was great and the staff there were so accommodating. Also this Fairmont was near all the shopping and really nice restaurants: SM, Greenbelt and Glorietta.

We loved this hotel! The breakfast buffet in the lobby was the best we have had- with so much variety and they had local dishes to try as well! The room was spacious for my two teens and myself. The staff was thoughtful and attentive. We upgraded to the Fairmont Gold and the happy hour in the evening meant we had additional treats before dinner (that really could have been dinner if we wanted)!

We had a great time at this hotel. Not only is the location very convenient for shopping and food options, we found the hotel to be less hectic than others in the Makati area or BGC for that matter. Breakfast buffet, albeit a bit expensive but has lots of options, is well worth it. Gym is very good with free weights, cardio and weight machines. Pool is great for having a relaxing time. The one thing above all however is the staff. Amazing! So friendly and they go above and beyond. They made our week stay there like home. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location was situated next to Greenbelt and Landmark which was a plus. The hotel was nice. We ate at the restaurant on Sat (03/11/2023) night which was Chinese food theme. We were not really impressed with the food to say the least. The staff from the Bellman, Concierge, Front Desk, Housekeeping and especially the Gold Lounge were very good. They all made you feel at home with their warm smile and accommodating ways. My wife and I were on the 7th floor and my Brother had a corner Suite which he Loved! We will hopefully consider staying here in the near future. By the way. We are from the states.

my wife and i stayed here for 13 nights with breakfast. room are nice and clean. the staff were very good. the breakfast we love. the location is just perfect. shopping malls Landmark, Glorietta, SM and Greenbelt are just all walkable. whennit is raining, they have a passage thru the parking level underground to Landmark Shopping Mall and from here all the others are connected.
