Check in was a breeze. Ample parking. Great view of the lake as we had a BALCONY room. Outdoor pool was very clean. There was a indoor pool , community jacuzzi and a small arcade room with pinball, pool table and games of chance. Also an old school outside ice cream bar vending machine. Over all the place had a great laid back 70's Adirondack type vibe. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Nicely refurbished rooms. Pool & sauna were available. Outstanding view right next to the lake! Plenty of parking on site. A few restaurants & a deli were a 10 minute drive away. I would return for another stay.

The views of the lake are great, the pool was clean and nice. They do have times on indoor and outdoor pool usage though. Arcade was nice too. Only complaint I have are the rooms have an excessive humidity issue. The moisture content saturates the bed, clothes etc. they need dehumidifier sleep in that motel. They informed me that because it’s on a lake that it’s a common issue. I’ve stayed in lake fronts before and never had that issue. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

A stunning view from the room sand the general property. A kayak rental right there added to the experience. Convenient to town. Great area to sit and have your morning coffee or evening cocktail, but you need to bring the latter

We arrived late and it took a minute to find the office in the dark, however, after hours check in was very easy once I found the office. Lots of ladybugs in our rooms but otherwise clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake and fall leaves from our porch in the mornings. Would absolutely stay here again.

Water was tinged brown and limited use of water. I did not shower while staying there due to color of water nor did I drink water. Problem was noticed after office closed for the evening. Bathroom sink drained slowly. Office was notified at check-out.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We were at the Lake n Pines for a week. The rooms are a little outdated, but everything is clean and comfortable. The location is sublime! The front desk itself was so kind to leave me a happy birthday gift in my room! Wonderful people, excellent stay, and I would stay there again!

This hotel is conveniently located for visiting Cooperstown and Glimmerglass. We went at a time when crowds were minimal. The view from our room, right on the lake, was stunning. The room has a larger than average room refrigerator/freezer, and was extremely clean. The mattress was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. Staff was friendly and helpful. A perfect choice for a long weekend in mid-October.

Very clean rooms, excellent service. We had plenty of towels, the AC ran well, which was key, the pools were well maintained, staff were friendly and efficient. Beds were good, waterfront was beautiful. Enjoyed the location, convenient to Baseball Hall of Fame. The rooms had a slight bleach smell, not too bad.

The room was not as clean as we are used to, the bathtub was clogged, the cleanliness , bathtub clogged, I clean the sink and faucet, which had tooth paste. I mentioned to the front desk lady, and she said” is the first time someone complaint in my 16 years here” . I would not recommend or go back to this place. She should have offer let me send someone or she should have take care of the problem.

Beautiful location overlooking the lake. Very clean, but odor of cleaning chemicals was overpowering for many hours. Also, there is a door adjoining next room, and we were able to hear every conversation our neighbors had. We felt like we were sharing a room with another couple! I would have shared this with the employee when checking out, but she didn't even ask how our stay was.

Very nice property. We had a very nice room with a large balcony overlooking the lake. Quite beautiful. Stayed here to attend our grandson’s baseball tournament in Cooperstown so it was fairly convenient. Everything is in excellent shape with many new upgrades it seems. Only drawback was no close dining without driving 15 minutes into town. I do recommend this motel though.

I was really surprised by the charm of the motel with the lake and the view. The room is clean. When you enter the bathroom its like going back in the 80’s but its also clean and it kind of work with the rest of the place!! I’m happy we found that nice place to stay for the night.

It's important to state that our room and the facility were extremely CLEAN(!), and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice and the pools were terrific. Our "average" review stems primarily from that lack of any internet or wifi access, which was crippling for our stay. The resort advertises and promotes that it has internet and full wifi access; this is inaccurate at best. My wife & I had relatively NO access to the wifi or internet, and with terrible cell coverage, we were paralyzed in regard to doing any remote work. We own our own business and work remotely year-round, so this was devastating. We would not return to this hotel based on this fact alone.

Overall a great and affordable place! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! We did have to switch from a queen to a king due to a very old and uncomfortable mattress in the queen room. But the king mattress was very comfortable! My only recommendation would be to include an iron and ironing board in the bedroom.

I motel is nestled on the lake and provides a scenic setting. The people at the front desk were very courteous and helpful. Our room faced the water (billed as a water view room). It was clean and you are provided with the amenities including a single cup coffee pot, toiletries, a microwave, refrigerator and freezer. First suggestion, get a top floor room. We were in a ground level room and it was noisy and you could hear every single footstep from above. One BIG issue is the WIFI. That may not mean much to some but if you need to stay in touch the WIFI was horrendous AND if you are a Verizon customer, cell reception is virtually non-existent. Those two issues unfortunately will keep us from going back to this location.

We stay in hotels more than 150 nights/year. It is always a shot in the dark when you select a "Mom & Pop" establishment. We chose Lake N Pines because it had good reviews and it offered a nice view of Lake Otsego. After our room was assigned and the view was so-so, I asked for a different room with the best view and he kindly switched me to a room with a superb view of the beautiful lake. Besides our room being very clean and spacious, the grounds outside are immaculate. It is obvious they care much about the appearance of the place. We make this trek eastward from Indiana toward New Hampshire at least twice/year but had never come thru this area. We really enjoyed our two days in Cooperstown and when we come thru again - Lake N Pines will be our stopping place. Thanks staff for a great experience. We had a wonderful time in Cooperstown

Property is a short drive to downtown Cooperstown. The area is beautiful. Roads are a bit narrow and winding which I thought was charming but my passenger wasn't happy about, so be your own judge. The parking at the hotel was also narrow and winding. The room was comfortable and clean. There were a couple of vending machines so you could get a snack easily.

overall a good quality motel. I would recommend it to friends who are traveling to Cooperstown to see the hall of fame. Nearest restaurant is 5 miles down the road. Blue Mango at Smiths Docks. Otherwise you must go into town. Lake front Motel has a great Breakfast menu. Doubleday Cafe for lunch. All $15 to 24 $

I love that the lake was right out our door, my kids and i rented a kayak and enjoyed every minute together. Only down side is they dont offer breakfast and there is not many food places near by.. we had to drive about 15 minutes to McDonald's daily cause thats one of the only fast food places, everything else is a litlle pricey! As far as our room, i loved it!

Romantisch am See. Älter aber sauber. Bis zum nächsten Restaurant muss man fahren, Frühstück würde ich im wunderbaren Sunflower Café empfehlen. Im Hotel KEIN Frühstück. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Sehr hübsch.

Lovely location and view. Property and room was very clean, the staff was wonderful. Just a heads up - you may want to bring in food. I was aware there wasn't any type of breakfast available on site, but there isn't a nearby restaurant or store. Our room did have a microwave and fridge. I wished on my part I had preplanned better.

Very clean with a nice pool. Nice location but no dining options nearby. Closest is 3.5 miles. No breakfast option. “Shared balcony” means a 3 foot space with no view and 1 chair. Not worth it! Smart features on TV turned off for some reason. Everything is dated and could really use an updating.very dark room. No light at all in corner with table. We would not stay there again, but it served our purpose of a clean place to sleep.
