The resort was unfortunately damaged by the storm. most restaurants and the pool Was Closed. The stay was nice , quiet clean and the A/c worked great. Im sure when its all back in order it will be fantastic . I will be returning

Great proximity to Gasparilla Island. Coffee maker in room did not work. Was unable to regulate thermostat for A/C in room - very chilly. Pool was nice, but could have used a cleaning.

Hotel was not full - room was ready ahead of schedule. We had to tell staff pool was not working. Didn’t work for 2 days & still looked cloudy. Didn’t go out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was an ok place - not someplace I would return to!!

Patrick was super friendly and helpful with dining and sightseeing recommendations. We loved how spacious our king size room was and that it was right next to the pool with easy access to the parking area. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it as a great option with a convenient store and golf cart rental right on the grounds!

Very conveniently located hotel on north end of the island. Pleasant and helpful staff. Spacious room, clean. Convenient parking, small but nice pool. Keurig in the room and small refrigerator. The cell service there is not good though, and WiFi has a spotty signal. Not sure Hotel can really remedy that.

The check in process was easy and the gentleman was very noce and accomodating. We drove a few minutes to the lighthouse and enjoyed a very romantic sunset. The hotel has an unheated pool and no hot tub, not a big deal but worth mentioning. The only things that we didnt like was the tv screen in the room was broken (7-10 vertical lines on screen but you can still see the picture), and the sheets on the bed were very sandy. I woke up feeling like i had rolled in a litter box. The water was the hottest I've ever had at a hotel, and the water pressure was good. We saved about $135 over a hilton etc, but loved being on the island. I would probably have enjoyed more of a true hotel vibe with housekeeping and more amenities.

Nice hotel located close to bridge. Staff was very friendly & the room was great! Only thing I could comment on regarding upgrade is for property to get an elevator. My mom had an injured ankle & it was difficult for her to get up and down the stairs.

Didn’t start out so well with our checkin being a little problematic however, the recovery was great. It’s offseason so it was quiet and peaceful. I would not stay on the bottom floor again the child running around upstairs was noticeable. Let us keep our boat on the trailer in the parking lot and I never worried about anything. We launched at the marina behind but only because we were too lazy to go to the public ramp. That marina is private and not setup for what we wanted to do so we wet slipped it for a night . $50 launch fee was a bit rich for me. Convenience store on property was great and the people are just plain nice. We’ll be back

The property is very old and only stairs to 2nd floor also tubs in the rooms very high and hard to get in and out of the shower falling not good for older people they need renovation to walk in showers. The staff was helpful and very friendly Jo in the main office was great and gave us excellent information about the island and was willing to change our room, but we did stay in our original room and was very careful in and out of the shower for the time spent there it was very nice .

It’s a beautiful island not overrun by dirty inconsiderate tourists! Hotel is really nice, located a bit away from town. Our particular room had pretty dirty floors we didn’t realize until I wiped up some water. However, I would totally stay here again!

Very quaint, old-style hotel that wraps around an indoor courtyard. Enjoyed it being different than your typical Holiday Inn; bathroom had been updated, and was super clean. Would benefit from having upgrades that feature more electrical outlets. I personally would stay here again, but since my boyfriend has severe mold allergies, he wouldn't be able to due to the age of the building.Thats the nature of an old structure around the Florida Coast, so I definitely don't hold that against them.

This property should be classified as a motel, not a resort. It was definitely overpriced considering the quality. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but it definitely needs some updating. The lack of streaming on tvs was definitely disappointing. The view was not as pictured and the outside area was not overly clean. The balcony was not in great condition and extra small. It also overlooked a dirty gravel lot.

The room was great, the bathroom shower was pitiful. The showerhead sprays into the room, the tilework around the shower must have been done by a drunken apprentice based on the amazing defects. There was no vanity to set your personal toiletries on. I would stay there again.

Well,From the picture it looks like the place was on the water. Front desk told me if we went upstairs and look far to the left we might see the water. AC was extremely noisy. Not sure who the the genius was the ordered the bathtubs but the bottom was so slippery that I partially fell. Had to put a towel down to keep from falling. I can see a law suit coming from some people. I thought we booked at the Boca Grande hotel but I am now thinking is was the Palmetto Inn disguised as the Boca. A little bait and switch??

Room needs serious refurbishing to bring it into the current times. More like a motel than a hotel. No room service, restaurant closed. Labor Day Weekend NOT the time to visit Boca Grande. Pretty much closed down in the middle of town. Pink Elephant closed Tues after Labor Day for three weeks. Two places to go to eat. Good place for a day trip during the season (winter).

We had three great meal venues: Biked to Outlet on the Inlet for breakfast and Key lime Cafe for lunch and drove to South Beach Restaurant for dinner and beach front sunset. Sad we had to leave a day early due to Hurricane Helene- but the hotel said they’d credit our account.
