Whilebi do think management is trying to clean things up, there were several issues i had with my stay. The buildibg was non smoking, but someone was clearly smoking weed and then lit an incense likenthat would help the smell in the hall. My first room was kissing the deadbolt and had obviously been pried open from the outside. The staff was kind enough, but did seem irritated when i wanted to switch rooms for safety. I am a female traveling alone with my service dog. The staff also asked for documentation of my service animal. Which does not exist in the US. I highly recomend the staff brush up on ADA law.

Breakfast was really poor and just ceriel and old milk. The drywall has had water damage and many many patches done Tv was a very bad blurry piciture The room was musky had to use a spray to kill smell Stayed 4 night Planned 5 but left early could not take it anymore

The house keeping staff was fantastic! But the state of the hotel is sad. No exhaust fan in the bathroom so when you get out of the shower the walls are wet from condensation. The popcorn ceiling above the tub/ shower was peeling off and hanging down from the dry wall. The shower curtain rod was coming falling off the wall at one end. There was missing drywall which has molded in the bathroom. There was a burn mark on the carpet from the iron. Carpet did not feel clean and there were dead crickets on the floor. The mattress covers were stained on the sides. There was a mildew smell in the room due to the humidity due to the lack of an exhaust fan. Mattresses were very firm. Hotel could benefit from a lot of updating.

Later arrival and staff was nice towards me with after hrs check in. Soda machine didn’t dispense but staff gave me a bottled water in exchange.

They advertise a free ‘Continental Breakfast’, but they only have Fruit Loops. Fortunately, there’s a decent restaurant right in front of the hotel. It’s a small town hotel. I’ve seen a lot worse.At least the room was clean.

It was the closest place to where we needed to be for a fureral. On first sight of the room it seemed ok we were not expecting a Hampton inn,but i discovered the sheet on the box spring had a sheet on it that had vomit on it on the third day,but the proprietary person did wait for us to get in late at midnight

The bed was very uncomfortable and it made noise every time I moved. The lighting was poor inside of the room. The curtains were not setup as to where you can have some privacy. The tv was too small and there were guests hanging out in front the hotel. They were also hanging out in the hallways.

Well, on the bright side it probably is the best hotel in Fairfield... but it's not nice. It looks and feels like a nursing home, the guy at the front is not friendly, it's very old, and the 'free breakfast' (and I'm not kidding) was fruit loops, milk and coffee. The only 2 upsides were the older ladies that did the housekeeping were very kind and there was a restaurant next door that was okay.

My only complaints would be regarding the television picture and DirecTv. The signal kept cutting out/freezing and some channels had NO signal. While the TV was a flat screen the picture quality was like watching an old 480p tv.

I asked for an extra pillow or 2 for my wife who is very pregnant. He acted like I was crazy and was angry about it. The place smelled like cigarettes, butt, and onions. There wasnt hardly even basic channels on tv. Of the 12 channels they had, even they were staticy. The continental brekfast was stale honey buns and old muffins.

Toilet was leaking which we didnt mind they brought extra towels but floor was constantly wet in there so you had to be careful. Manager argued with me on second day telling me i never told him i was staying 2 days when i asked him many times about what he charged me, about the checkout date on the receipt, etc. He was rude but the cleaning ladies were SUPER friendly and helpful. Very respectful and made sure you were comfortable with everything.

Decent stay in an old motel. They are still in COVID-mode so if you don't want any personal contact or breakfast this is the place for you. And bring your own pillow! Only motel that shows up on Hotels.com in Fairfield so they don't have to strive for excellence I guess.
