My mom and I stayed there back in September for a weekend and had a wonderful stay. The inn was so lovely with a beautiful lake across the street. The breakfast provided each morning was top-notch! If I am ever back in the area, I will certainly stay there again!

Charming lakeside Inn with the most amazing delicious breakfast! You cannot go wrong. Canoes and kayaks to borrow! So much fun on and in the beautiful clean lake.

The owners are so kind, friendly, and thoughtful! I stayed here the night before the eclipse, and because they knew people wanted to leave early the next day to beat the eclipse traffic, they moved up the start of breakfast (poached eggs and bacon hash, yum!) an hour. The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful views of the surroundings, including the lake, from windows. There is a nice loop around the lake that can be done, and hiking trails nearby. There is a cozy atmosphere in the winter, when there will be small fires burning in the common areas where guests can mingle and relax.

Loved the peace and the nostalgia of this old inn. Very quaint. Also loved all the things you could do. They have bikes to ride, kayaks, canoes, all for free to use. The hiking trails in the area are wonderful too. Beautiful lake. Great place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

The Follininbee Inn is unique. Other places say it, but this place really is.Keyser lake is crystal, beautiful, and they provide canes, kayaks, and boats- NC. The Innkeepers pay attention to every detail.There are no TVs, but internet is good.Guests interact after dinner and they eat breakfast family stlye. Breakfast is in an amazing dining room and the table is beautifully set. Breakfast is great! The place is peaceful and casual. If you are looking for action, North Sutton, NH is not a good choice, but the f Follansbee Inn is an authentic old New E gland property. JB

The breakfasts were all outstanding! My room was really stuffy and stale smelling with no ventilation. The one window had an air conditioner in it, making fresh air impossible. Not having the clean NH air and coolness at night was disappointing. I had to rely on the air conditioner and a loud fan. There was not a mixer for the hot and cold water in the shower. I fully understand that the Inn was built long before air conditioning and cannot be retrofitted.

Everything is excellent except for the shower. It’s old-fashioned and aesthetically beautiful but a potential accident waiting to happen. It’s very slippery and the tub is a little high to get in especially for shorter and elderly people. I slipped and slid while taking a shower but thankfully it was a slow fall on my bum so no injury occurred. Some guests may not be as lucky.

Stayed here several times. For my money, Dennis & Kendall run the loveliest inn in New Hampshire. There may be more luxurious places to stay in the region, but if you are looking for a classic New England inn with charm in a beautiful location, this is the place. And Dennis’s Cajun- influenced breakfasts can’t be missed.

We stayed here with family for a graduation. The Inn is conveniently located near Colby Sawyer and not too far from dining options. The owners were very hospitable providing home baked pop tarts and coffee/tea. The breakfast was delicious and lovely. We enjoyed our stay!

We should have called the Inn to book our stay. Hotels.com booked one instead of two days stay so we had to leave the Inn on Thanksgiving Day. The staff was friendly and genuine.

We stayed here with family for a graduation. The Inn is conveniently located near Colby Sawyer and not too far from dining options. The owners were very hospitable providing home baked pop tarts and coffee/tea. The breakfast was delicious and lovely. We enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I like everything about this property. It's a unique, beautifully-decorated inn. Clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfasts served in a breathtaking dining room. The owners are so kind, friendly, and thoughtful! I stayed here the night before the eclipse, and because they knew people wanted to leave early the next day to beat the eclipse traffic, they moved up the start of breakfast (poached eggs and bacon hash, yum!) an hour. The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful views of the surroundings, including the lake, from windows. There is a nice loop around the lake that can be done, and hiking trails nearby. Loved the peace and the nostalgia of this old inn. Very quaint. Also loved all the things you could do. They have bikes to ride, kayaks, canoes, all for free to use. The hiking trails in the area are wonderful too. Beautiful lake. Great place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Stayed here several times. For my money, Dennis & Kendall run the loveliest inn in New Hampshire. There may be more luxurious places to stay in the region, but if you are looking for a classic New England inn with charm in a beautiful location, this is the place. And Dennis’s Cajun- influenced breakfasts can’t be missed.

Very nice owners, a delicious breakfast but it was over when we needed it . Third floor walk up wasn't great for us. It was very hot and humid and the window airconditioner in the small room was noisy and a bit drippy. May I suggest a full length mirror and a stall shower?

I grew up on a lake nearby...and Kezar Lake reminded me of how rustic and undeveloped Lake Sunapee was in the 1960s. The Follansbee Inn has true charm and is located right on the lake. The owners were low key and charming, and the breakfasts were fabulous.
