The staff was extremely friendly. Rich was super helpful with helping us plan our stay in Sedona. The rooms were good have a nice view of the stream and trees. We had gone to the grocery store and picked up some nice ribeyes a couple lobster tails, some vegetables and use the grill right next to the steam and really enjoyed ourselves for about three hours that was romantic. Nice and peaceful. I needed this.

A semi-spontaneous overnight trip led us to The Inn Above Oak Creek in Sedona, perched on the side of Oak Creek. Our room, which was the only available, with no special view of the creek or surrounding area, had all we needed for an overnight trip. The room had a lovely faux fireplace, which provided some heat and ambience, a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a very large, deep, jetted tub for relaxing. The lobby is very comfortable with a large gas fireplace, many large picture windows that overlook a treehouse like deck, some local wildlife visited the deck while we enjoyed a simple cold breakfast inside by the fire. There is a broad assortment of coffee, tea, muffins, bagels, cookies, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit to enjoy before heading out to enjoy your day in Sedona. They also had frozen breakfast sandwiches to heat if you want something hot. There is a full kitchen (common kitchen) for guest use. We enjoyed our stay. Location is gorgeous, there is outdoor seating on the deck off the lobby to enjoy the view, as well as barbeque area and a relaxing hammock to use in warmer weather. The property is quaint and extraordinarily clean and well kept.

A lot of outdoor seating areas overlooking the creek and wooded areas. Nice balance between a hotel and a B&B (small but not too crowded). Very nicely maintained with room to stretch out. Walkable distance to shopping for most. One side is on a busy road so be aware you will not be secluded. Also, breakfast was fine, but very basic. No fridge, coffee makers, nor microwaves in room, but guests can use the kitchen. I prefer coffee in my room.

The Creek View 1 is conveniently located in the main area. View of Oak Creek below and mountains from room balcony. Snacks and refreshments available all day, with lovely muffins, bagels, yogurt and oatmeal in a homelike, open setting with seating outside with views, or inside. Love this place. Location is convenient to shops and restaurants, but a little ways from the hustle and bustle of the touristy shops. This was the right location for us. And the hosts were pleasant and helpful!

Amazing place! Our room was perfect! We upgraded to the creek side and it was beautiful! The room was very clean, updated and loved the fire place. Rich checked us in and was very accommodating, he was super helpful with suggestions to taking my wifes suitcase up the stairs. Couldnt ask for a better stay!!

We stayed there four nights and love the place. The hotel was centrally located, so we could walk to restaurants and/or shops and not have to deal with crazy Sedona traffic. The guy overseeing the place while we were there, Rich, was a great guy. He was friendly and always offering to help us with whatever we needed. e.g. breakfast food, parking for hikes, etc. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Sedona who can climb a flight a stairs as there is no elevator.

Beautiful location on the creek. The inn is very small which I loved. It feels like a B&B. It very nice and clean. The rooms have fire places if you are there when it is cold. We were there at the end of June. Sat by the river outside. Continental breakfast included. Coffee on the upper deck looking at the river. I highly recommend.

The Inn Above Oak Creek is an adorable B & B style hotel. With only 12 guest rooms in a beautifully decorated building that feels like a country home perched above Oak Creek. The extensive decking on the creek side is perfect for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at cocktail hour. The condition was impeccable. The rooms were immaculate and tastefully decorated. Love the big soaking tub and fire place. Yummy cookies in the lobby and access the kitchen made it even more welcoming. The best part? The host, Rich as probably one of the kindest, most gracious people I've ever met. He made our stay very comfortable and memorable. We will be back.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved staying here this weekend. We had a nice view from our balcony and when dinner time came there was a grill we were able to use. We ate right next to the creek outside and it was perfect. The jetted bath tub was incredible and the bed was so comfortable. The staff was so kind and friendly and kept asking if we needed anything during our stay. I highly recommend them!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Manager was extremely helpful and available for recommendations on places to visit. Our room had the most amazing view. The room was extremely clean. I only gave 4 stars since the bed was the worst. One side was so worn I thought I would roll right out of bed. Mattress was way beyond its due date for a change.

It was very well kept and clean. Beautiful inside with a lovely outside decking to enjoy. Bird feeders and outdoor lighting plus furniture made it so special and relaxing.

The check in guy is friendly and always helpful. Our second time staying here. Im a bit of a germaphobe so I did have a cpl concerns w the cleanliness. There was a long dark hair on 1 hand towel. A stain or dirt on top of the white comforter, dusty on top of the dvd player & we had 2 plug it into a usb cord that was there, after troubleshooting the remotes for 20 min. These things should have been checked & cleaned prior to us arriving. Gunk also came out of the tub jets but didn't notice till end of the bath(to dark & had a glass of wine) so that was gross. Love everything else about this place & hopefully will give it another try, but the cleanliness kinks need to get worked out 1st & asap.

Charming B&B in a Great Location We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint little bed and breakfast. It's within walking distance to a charming art village and just a short drive to uptown Sedona. The staff was very accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay in Sedona.

Make sure you check which room you are getting, My room was not exactly cheap, so I assumed it matched the pictures online. The room was #4. I was TINY. My girlfriend and I could barely fit on the bed. There was no view. The window opened up to the outside hallway. I was embarrassed taking my girlfriend to this place. I do not usually write reviews, but this was a bad experience. I would rather stay at a Holiday Inn. I wont be back.

It was nice and quiet and easy walking distance to shopping. The only negative was that the bathroom could use some remodeling. The huge jet tub takes up the entire bathroom and looks old and the shower head is so low that showering was awkward. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

My first issue is be AWARE that some of the rooms DO NOT have balconies and do not have a view of the creek and natural area. The front rooms 8-9-10 have not balcony or window that can open for fresh air and look out over the extremely busy and noisy main road. Just a warning as we believed from the pictures on the internet that the rooms had balconies and overview of Oak Creek. Overall a very nice inn. Room was clean and continental breakfast was good and had a nice variety. There are chairs down by the creek and use of the kitchen is available to guests. We stayed 2 nights but would not stay in a room that faced the busy road again.

Room was so tiny we could not unpack. No drawers for clothing. Bathroom was so tiny the pedestal sink was in the room. Tiny balcony which overlooked the roof. Pack light-guests required to carry luggage up a flight of stairs on their own. Overall, very disappointing.

Great hidden gem! Staff was super friendly and attentive. Beautiful place and peaceful. Celebrating our 20th anniversary and staff gave us a wine bottle. Would definitely stay here again. Room was great, comfy bed and clean. Breakfast was great!

The entire visit was exceptional. From receiving a text message at noon check-in day to let us know our room was ready if we arrived in town early to forgetting my eyeglasses in the room and the lady at the front desk chasing us down to give them to me before even starting the car. It was a trip to celebrate our anniversary, which I did not let my wife know where we were staying until we arrived. She was pleasantly surprised and expressed several times how much she loved the property. They say, “Happy Wife Happy Life!!”. Thank you to The Inn Above Oak Creek for making a special weekend that much more special. The staff was very hospitable. I especially want to acknowledge Rich for being so kind and helpful. We look forward to our next visit.

Amazing place! Our room was perfect! We upgraded to the creek side and it was beautiful! The room was very clean, updated and loved the fire place. Rich checked us in and was very accommodating, he was super helpful with suggestions to taking my wifes suitcase up the stairs. Couldnt ask for a better stay!!

We stayed there four nights and love the place. The hotel was centrally located, so we could walk to restaurants and/or shops and not have to deal with crazy Sedona traffic. The guy overseeing the place while we were there, Rich, was a great guy. He was friendly and always offering to help us with whatever we needed. e.g. breakfast food, parking for hikes, etc. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Sedona who can climb a flight a stairs as there is no elevator.

Charming B&B in a Great Location We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint little bed and breakfast. It's within walking distance to a charming art village and just a short drive to uptown Sedona. My wife and I stayed here for her birthday and loved it. It was charming and within walking distance of many shops and dining options. It was also clean, quiet and peaceful with access to oak creek right from the back door. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a great little boutique hotel with only 12 rooms. It sits right next to Oak Creek. The location is beautiful as are the hotel grounds. The staff went out of there to make us feel at home. Our room ( #11) had windows on two sides that looked down on Oak Creek. Beautiful! Another plus is that it is away from the hustle and bustle of West Sedona. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Inn exceeded our expectations!! Our room had a balcony with a nice view and a very enjoyable continental breakfast. A communal refrigerator was in the kitchen to store any items for your stay. It is in uptown Sedona which was very convenient and walkable to shops and restaurants!!

A semi-spontaneous overnight trip led us to The Inn Above Oak Creek in Sedona, perched on the side of Oak Creek. Our room, which was the only available, with no special view of the creek or surrounding area, had all we needed for an overnight trip. The room had a lovely faux fireplace, which provided some heat and ambience, a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a very large, deep, jetted tub for relaxing. The lobby is very comfortable with a large gas fireplace, many large picture windows that overlook a treehouse like deck, some local wildlife visited the deck while we enjoyed a simple cold breakfast inside by the fire. There is a broad assortment of coffee, tea, muffins, bagels, cookies, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit to enjoy before heading out to enjoy your day in Sedona. They also had frozen breakfast sandwiches to heat if you want something hot. There is a full kitchen (common kitchen) for guest use. We enjoyed our stay. Location is gorgeous, there is outdoor seating on the deck off the lobby to enjoy the view, as well as barbeque area and a relaxing hammock to use in warmer weather. The property is quaint and extraordinarily clean and well kept.

Other than location and being on the creek this was by far a lower quality B and B. We ended up eating out for breakfast as their offerings were those of a holiday inn express-pre-made muffins/bagels and yogurt. There are too many amazing B and B's in Sedona to be let down.

Loved everything about this place. The continental breakfast was very nice, especially the granola. There may be other properties that have better views of the surrounding mountains, but overlooking Oak Creek was just as nice and we had plenty of opportunities to see the other scenery. Highly recommended!

It was almost like a bed and breakfast. Loved the room with a creek view and a balcony to sit and have morning coffee at. Nice variety of breakfast items. Open kitchen available to save leftovers and heat up the next day. Staff were all pleasant and helped with any needs.

We would give this a 5 star . It's a wonderful bed and breakfast in a beautiful setting overlooking Oak Creek, lovely room (ours had a balcony), comfortable bed, great staff, excellent breakfast options, easy walking distance to restaurants and galleries. In warmer months you can enjoy coffee/breakfast on the deck among flowers, hummingbirds and even a friendly squirrel. Definitely our first choice if/when we return to Sedona.

The Inn Above Oak Creek is an adorable B & B style hotel. With only 12 guest rooms in a beautifully decorated building that feels like a country home perched above Oak Creek. The extensive decking on the creek side is perfect for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at cocktail hour. The condition was impeccable. The rooms were immaculate and tastefully decorated. Love the big soaking tub and fire place. Yummy cookies in the lobby and access the kitchen made it even more welcoming. The best part? The host, Rich as probably one of the kindest, most gracious people I've ever met. He made our stay very comfortable and memorable. We will be back.

The cutest inn you’ll ever stay. It felt like we were staying at the home of a good friend. The room was beautiful. Donna, the inn keeper was incredible and so nice. Every morning there were the most amazing gluten free muffins. Falling asleep at night to the sound of frogs in the creek was perfect. You are central and walking distance to so many places. We are looking forward to going back next year.
